Bohumil Modrý and his fate in literature and media coverage

This Bachelor thesis focuses on research of the image of Czechoslovak ice-hockey goalkeeper Bohumil Modrý in literature and contemporary print. After describing the fate of Bohumil Modrý, I focus on the analysis of contemporary daily print, namely Rudé právo, Mladá fronta and Československý sport, in which I research the amount of informations publicated in named daily print and the differences between them. While analysing the daily print, I will focus on few specific periods - 1947 and 1949 ice-hockey world championships, 1948 olympic games, March 1950 in which Bohumil Modrý and his former teammates from national ice-hockey team were arrested, October 1950 in which the court hearing took place, their release from jail in early 1955, death of Bohumil Modrý in July 1963 and rehabilitation of Modrý and his once convicted teammates in July 1968. The third part of the Bachelor thesis follows Modrý's image in the book Jáchymov by Austrian writer Josef Haslinger. It is a novel which was written with help of Bohumil Modrý's daughter Blanka and follows more different storylines, but the main one focuses on the fate of Bohumil Modrý. Analysis of game activities of goalkeeper during European Championship Under-21 2015

Author: Bc. Tomáš Zajíček Title: Analysis of game activities of goalkeeper during European Championship Under-21 2015. Objectives: The main objective is to analyse of game activities of goalkeeper on European Chapmionship Under-21 2015. Partial objectives: ranking of all matches on European Chapmionship Under-21 2015 in football, completing data, frequency of game activities, ratio of defensive and offensive game activities of goalkeeper and comparing the effect of regular and irregular performance on the goalkeeper on European Chapmionship Under-21 2015 in Czech republic. Methods: For getting information there were used indirect observation in this Bachelor thesis. The indirect observation from videorecords was time postponed. Results: The results show that in current football the goalkeeper has to be in control of the game with his foot more than ever before. A study points to the fact that the goalkeeper has to offend four times more than defend during the game. Available data show that U21 goalkeepers run less towards center balls than their older colleagues. The data also show that especially defense experience and regular utilization during the game shows. Title: Floorball - Manual for teachers at grammar schools and beginnig coaches Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to describe individual player skills including field players and goalkeepers and to describe the very basics of offensive and defensive plays. This thesis is strongly aimed on floorball basics, that appear during all age groups of students at grammar school. Every single piece of information within this thesis is usable for everyone inside floorball training process, but designated for very beginners. Methods: In our thesis we used methods of theoretic knowing and information processing.Last but not least analysis,comparisob and research of Czech and international literature. Results: It was created transparent handbook for teachers of primary schools and coaches. The goal of master thesis was fulfilled and partial goals as well. The frequency and the efficiency of selected game skills of football goalkeepers in categories U16, U17, U19 and U21 in the Czech Republic.

Topic: The frequency and the efficiency of selected game skills of football goalkeepers in categories U16, U17, U19 and U21 in the Czech Republic. Aim: Determining the frequency and the efficiency of selected game skills at the goalkeeper's position for the age groups U16, U17, U19 and U21. Methods: For collecting data was used indirect observation method via video. The research sample included respondents (player function - goalkeeper) from the highest levels of performance in the Czech Republic in the junior categories (U16, U17, U19 and U21). Half of the goalkeepers were monitored in home matches, the second half were monitored in away matches. Results: Goalkeepers of the U21 category achieved significantly higher efficiency in indicator catching of the ball into the hands (Cohen's d = 0.92) compared to the U16 category. Substance insignificant differences were detected in contrary indicator of the efficiency of the foot play and the frequency of foot play between U21 and U16 categories. The rally by hands was examined, to be the most effective way to rally, of all categories. Category U21 dominated in terms of efficiency in catching the ball out of steady position and also the U21 most commonly practiced playing outside the penalty area. Stickhandling transfer from training units into the game of ice hockey goalie at the 11. till 13. years old.

Title: Stickhandling transfer from training units into the game of ice hockey goalie at the 11. till 13. years old. Objectives: Transfer quantitatively evaluate the frequency of use of stick game with goalkeepers 11. till 13. years old after the training intervention. Methods: The research was conducted by observing fifteen hockey match at the beginning and end of the hockey season 2012/2013 11. till 13. years old after the training program for the work with a stick. Monitored data were recorded in an empirically established evaluation tables based on the scheme of LH used in the country. The sample represents goalkeepers 11. till 13. years old hockey team HC Sparta Praha. The actual comparison of the frequency of use of the game was goalie stick descriptive statistics. Results: Transfer work with the goalies stick 11. till 13. years old of training units in the hockey game was successful. The overall frequency of work with a staff increased from 261 of the 286 club hits of all hits club, which percentage is 9.6%. The most successful progression occurred in the warm-stick blade and punching blade stick in the corner rink. Analysis and comparison of chosen game activities of goalkeeper during Euro 2012

Title: Analysis and comparison of chosen game activities of goalkeeper during Euro 2012. Objectives: The main objective is to analyse chosen defensive and offensive game activities of goalkeeper. Partial objectives: To compile a ranking of goalkeepers according to the success percentage in chosen defensive and offensive game activities of goalkeeper. Methods: For getting information there were used indirect observation in this Bachelor thesis. The indirect observation from videorecords was time postponed. Results: The results show, that in contemporary football, goalkeeper has to be good at footwork more than in the past. During 24 matches goalkeepers were passing after receiving for 504 times with 83,9% success. The running out for centered balls is also an important part of goalkeeper's performance. In this game activity safe catching prevails over punching a ball. In observed matches goalkeepers ran out for 136 times with 78,3% success. Profil skills of soccer goalkeeper

Title: Activity content of football goalkeeper Objectives: The aim is to create a comprehensive overview of the activity content of soccer goalkeepers in a defensive phase with and without a ball as well as an attack phase with and without a ball. Sub-objectives: To find deficiencies in the proposed content of activity of football goalkeeper via interview and to specify the content of the activity pursuant to this research. Methods: The creation of the list of the goalies' activity content is based on theoretical sources as well as on own experience and is then verified by the qualitative research. Results: The hypothesis was confirmed as no significant deficiencies were found in the proposed list. The objectives has been achieved.
