Optimal layout proposal of technological workplaces at a small mechanical engineering company

This master´s thesis is focused on technological designing in a small company ENGITEC Motosport s.r.o. In first theoretical part of the thesis is this subject described in detail and analyzed in terms of economic and technical aspect. Next part describes the current state of the company and the production hall as well with keep on its current layout. In the following chapters is chosen piston-shaped component, which is manufactured by the company and three different variants of the piston production. Then one of them is selected, to which all related capacities calculations are made. In the final part of the thesis is proposed the relevant final layout of the hall and there is also the technical-economic evaluation of the most relevant variant included. Key words

Master thesis named „Creation of logistic concept in the selected company“ is focused on detailed analysis of material flow of waste in manufacturing company. The main objective of thesis is proposal of new logistic concept of handling with copper waste, which is created during the manufacturing processes, which function will be to remove defects in material flow, to shorten the handling time with copper waste and more accurate information flow, considering work safety, costs and time.

The diploma thesis on the topic "Creating a Logistics Concept in a Selected Company" analyzes the logistics system of the company in terms of material and information flows in the production. The theoretical part explains the individual concepts of logistics. The analysis of the current situation of a selected company describes the current order processing, activities that affect order processing and how these activities contribute to the order realization. There are solution proposals in the field of information and material flows as a part of this thesis. These proposals contribute to streamline the course of the order management by the company.

The main outcome is the proposal of precaution for improvement of the currently production of proces.The first part of the thesis describes the basic terms and methods from the field of industrial engineering. These findings are then used for data analysis and for the solution proposal in the analytical part.

Optimalization of material flow in automotive industry

This master thesis is focussed on optimalization of material flow in an automotive company. First part introduce theoretical background. Automotive industry and its actual trends on global markets. Follows short introduction of the company where project of this thesis was executed. Main theoretical part describes concept of lean management, its tools in practical examples, but it is also focussed on philosophical approach to the work and mindset of the company. Follows the aplication part based on theoretical background. The whole project of this master thesis is focussed on specific area called PC store. At first this area is showed in context of overall material flow. Shortly there are introduced processes and areas where full material packaging flows. Follows deeper analysis and optimalization of PC store itself. There are three approaches of stock and lead time reduction applied. Last part shows the comparison of initial and future state including performed changes.

Proposal for Picking Materiál in the Warehouse

In this thesis, there is processed optimalization of production in conveyor-belt system. Purpose of this work was to evaluate functioning of the company and design changes to make production more effective. There are mentioned details about placement of workstations and material. New layout of storehouse is the main output of this work. We tested designed changes with use of „workstations placement“ methods. In our case, we used Sankey´s diagram which takes into account intensity of material flow. The application of the results from this thesis would be asset for this company because the safe of the time would be significant.

Analysis of Manufacturing Processes within The Company for the Purpose of their Optimization

This bachelor thesis deals with optimization of production processes in the company, its information and also material flows conducted in planned production. The first part focuses on the theoretical description and background of the issue. In the second, practical part, this work will discuss and then analyze the production process of selected company. According drafted analyzes and theoretical basis, this thesis determine the problems and shortcomings of the process. In the last phase it provides suggestions to improve founded shortcomings and their implementation into production.
