Simulation of data transmission latency between nodes in IP networks
Balej, Jiří ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on the delays incurred in data transmitting over IP networks. The top of the paper is devoted to points, where delay is invoked and causes of the latency. For individual sources of delay are are described the parameters that affect the usual size of latency. The next section describes the types of networks and their typical delay. In the paper are also discussed tools for measuring delay and determining the number of intermediate devices. The thesis contains results of measurements delay time in the real network. For these results are listed conclusions about the delay for one intermediate device. There is also said general ratio of crow-fly distance and calculated distance. The last part deals the simulation of delay in the NS2 program. The results of thesis are scripts that shows the relation of delay and the number of switches, routers, and the length of the path.
Implementation of quality of service in the control of a network element
Boháč, Martin ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The main task of the Master Thesis is introduction into problems of quality of service in converged networks especially with use of IP protocol version 6. Converged networks are able to transfer different data types - voice, data or multimedia stream. Design of active network unit is realized in Matlab Simulink. Designed model consists of simple network with some computer terminals which are connected with network element - switch. Switch model simulates real traffic of computer terminals, that are sending data to remote users. Packets in switch are sorting by data stream type and QoS. Switch is managed by neuron network. Neuron network reacts to input data and controls switch depending on type of recipient. Switch model can be used in laboratory exercising. Solving this theme needs basic skill in Simulink and theme can be done in one laboratory exercise.
Design of paddle shifts for formula student
Dugas, Martin ; Vrána, Radek (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns design of paddle shifters for Formula Student. It deals in theoretical part with knowledge of today’s shifting mechanisms, additive manufacturing technologies and ways of weight optimization of parts. In design section, it covers with actual solutions of this problems, whereas the most important target was to minimalize mass and maximize stiffness of the whole mechanism.
Design of electrical outlets and switches
Tomášková, Veronika ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is design of electrical socket outlets and switches, which respects basics technical and technological requirements. The final design deals with a set of electrical socket outlets and switches, for which is characteristic modularity solution and a variability in colour and in a combinations of number of socket outlets and switches. It brings a solution, which can be always original.
Building and using smaller computer networks
Ďurica, Matej ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
In these days, the widespread creation of home networks, due to the continuous development of computer technology for personal use. These networks are formed, for example, with the aim of facilitating access to information, ease of communication between people and control of various devices in the home. Their development is influenced by trends in information communication technologies in the market. This bachelor thesis is fully focused on the practical implementation of the proposal for extension of the original smaller home network using the new network elements (wireless routers, switches, network printers, NAS server, device for live monitoring of security cameras) and rendering certain network services (DLNA, print server, VPN, iTunes server, live monitoring of security cameras). A given network was tested with respect to performance network and its response, coverage of Wi-Fi signal, testing remote access, power consumption, read and writes speed of the NAS server.
Proposal of computer network in chosen organization
KOMRSKA, Roman
Main objective of this thesis is proposing quality computer network for chosen organization. This thesis is divided to two parts - theoretical part and practival part. In theoretical part there is summarized the most important information about computer networks. Practical part contains information about main proposal, where is summarized how can be computer network proposed.
Design of computer network training room
KRHÁNEK, Jiří
This project describe design of computer classroom for learning computer networking. At first I explain how create computer network. I decide about hardware and network items to use for realization fully functional computer network. Below I describe network setting in Operating Systems. At the end I fixate to solution particular cases which could be resolved by students in this computer classroom.
Optické a elektrické přepínání v organických polovodičích
Vala, M. ; Weiter, M. ; Nešpůrek, Stanislav ; Zmeškal, O.
The work deals with tuning of electro-optical properties of polymeric media using reversible light-driven switching of photochromic spiropyran guest molecules. The significant change of dipole moment during the photochromic conversion allows construction of simple switching units. Optical responses of such devices were studied using absorbance and photoluminescence, electrical responses, were detected by impedance measurements.
Network access control
Kalina, Tomáš ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Knapovský, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor's work discusses IT issues of network access control. The first part deals with the theoretical background of network access control. There are explained various ways of authenticating and authorization users. Thanks these function, it is possible to prevent unauthorized persons access to computer networks. Knowledge of these technologies is essential for understanding the next part of the work. The remaining part of the work is concerned with recommendations and draft network access control for various model situations, especially for the college of University of Economics, Prague. Specific examples are given for network infrastructure based on device of the 3com company.
IPv6 support in smaller Internet service provider.
Pangrác, Vojtěch ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Beneš, Jiří (referee)
This work is aimed at new Internet protocol version 6. This protocol is firstly described generally. Then I have intoduced several common, generally respected IPv6 transition. The last part is oriented on real transition model, which is described on company from Rakovnik. This company figured as local Internet service provider. This solution includes individual phase of transition, opinions and evaluation from my colleagues and also timetable and financial plan. The model, which I think out could be available for most of smaller internet service providers.
