Analýza a revize reportingové systému pro obchodní službu ve společnosti ING Životní pojišťovna N.V., pobočka pro Českou republiku

The aim of my thesis is the analysis of a reporting system for a business service and a leading the business service in ING Životní pojišťovna N.V., pobočka pro Českou republiku and an outlining the recommendations for a change of the present reporting system. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one is theoretical and deals mainly with a project and process management. Since the reports include mostly the numbers, data, which have higher or smaller predicative ability, the data and pieces of information of the company are listed in this part as well. The second part of the thesis includes a practical analysis in ING Životní pojišťovna N.V., pobočka pro Českou republiku. As this has been planned in the company as the project, I regard it the same way in the thesis. This part is divided into three parts: a list of the reports, an analysis of the reports and an outline of the recommendations for improving a current reporting system. The contribution of my thesis lies in showing the compact view of reporting system, concerning the leading of the business service and in presenting the proposal for the change of the current reporting system.

This Thesis focuses on the current issues of environmental protection in industrial enterprises and it presents options and approaches to environmental protection, including the effect on competitiveness. The intention is to summarise problems and justify benefits for the company in terms of continually increasing efficiency and competitiveness. The Thesis is the inspiration for manufacturing enterprises and shows the way how to actively contribute to environmental protection. The conclusions lead to the integration of environmental knowledge and principles of environmental protection into the company strategy.
Ideálny nástroj pre riadenie projektov

This project proposes to set the requirements for ideal project management software. These requirements will be specified by comparing of the best and the most widely used softwares in this sfere, by project simulation using one of these softwares and by the theoretical and practical requirements resulting from project management. Two most significant softwares -- MS Project and Primavera -- will be used for this project. The theoretical parf consists of project management theory and introduction of individual softwares, while project simulation, demonstration of strength and weakness of the specific software and draw conclusion will be shown in the practical part.
Stakeholder Analysis in Project IS/ICT

The work is concerned with stakeholder analysis in information system project. This theme is a part of project management. The main goal is to describe process of stakeholder analysis, which is solved very poorly in technical literature. Other goals are: describe the influence on the project and possibility of prevention and solution of the most common stakeholders in detail, and briefly search the level of solution of this issue in technical literature. The work mainly draw from personal ideas, party from experiences contained in mentioned literature. The process of analysis, which is the main theme of this work, is processed almost completely on basis of personal creative activity. The document is divided into six chapters. The first one is introducing the theme, second chapter deals with basic terms, third chapter describes the stakeholder analysis, fourth chapter presents the influence of most common stakeholders and fifth chapter mentions the level of solution in source literature. The last chapter summarize all gained knowledge.
Comparison of wordlwide recognised project management methodologies PMI, PRINCE2, and Czech methodology EPMS

The thesis compares main widespread project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2) and Czech methodology tailored for specific turbulent environment in Czech Republic (EPMS). The philosophies, structures and approaches of all project management methodologies are described in this thesis. Main pros and cons of methodologies are briefly shown and important issues of their implementation are described in the thesis. The process-driven approach, which have all methodologies in common, is mapped to demanded processes of ČSN ISO 10006:2004.

Information technologies enabling managerial time tracking and cost reduction

Time tracking means to record and analyze costs in relation with business output. Managerial time tracking can be characterized as a tool that links working-time recording with planning, approving, rating, billing, invoicing, etc. This thesis deals with theoretical consequences and facts of time tracking approaches, and with practical application of these approaches with the usage of IT time tracking tools. There are described various alternatives of time tracking systems and characterized automatization of business processes with the focus on time tracking business process.
Financial management in multinational corporations

This thesis deals with specifics of financial management in multinational corporations. There are examples of the most interesting differences in management of multinational corporations compared to management of small enterprises operating in the area of one nation only, whereas more attention is applied to three chosen areas: financial software, achieving of cost saving and financial management of projects. The thesis tries to evaluate advantages and disadvantages of financial management in this kind of an enterprise. Theoretical findings are applied to an example of a multinational corporation Honeywell.
Project Management Office as a Project Management tool

The work deals with using Project Management Office when managing project portfolio. Theoretical part characterizes project from a perspective of project life cycle, staffing on project and project risks. Next it describes particular organizational levels of Project Management Office and activities that could be done by Project Management Office. Last but not least it provides overlook of maturity of project management in the Czech Republic. Practical part analysis on example of financial company the processes taking place in corresponding phases of a project. Next the processes of change management, risk management, project deliverables, quality assurance, reporting and budgeting are analyzed. At the end of this work the processes are evaluated and the steps for improvement are formulated.
Simulace politik komunikace z pozice Informačního manažera

Managerial simulators enable us to experiment easily with all possible variants of alternative decisions. This facilitates the process of assessing the effective policies and strategies formed by the managers. The creation of simulators based on the principles of system dynamics in the background is the main point of interest of this diploma thesis. This paper is focused on building a simulator which would simulate policies of communication from the position of Information manager, depending on the variable settings of its parameters. The structure of the model and the parametrization of the simulator comes from practical experiences from the company called NETservis s.r.o., which specializes on the development of internet applications for large international companies. The simulator is therefore intended for the simulation of policies in this particular company, however can also serve as a referential model and be used by other companies.
