Value at Risk application to FSD portfolio efficiency testing
Kopa, Miloš
The paper deals with efficiency testing of a given portfolio with respect to all other portfolios that can be created from the considered set of assets. The efficiency is based on the first order stochastic dominance (FSD) relation. A necessary and sufficient condition for the first order stochastic dominance criterion is expressed in terms of Value at Risks (VaRs). Consequently a FSD portfolio efficiency test based on VaRs is formulated. Contrary to the usual case, a general discrete distribution of portfolio returns is assumed what makes the test computationally more demanding comparing to the equiprobable scenarios case. Therefore we present a tractable reformulation of this test that turns constraints on VaRs into classical mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem.

Physiotherapy in patients with Femoral neck fractures
PRINCOVÁ, Pavlína
This bachelor thesis focuses on physiotherapy for patients with fracture of the femur bone in the neck of the femur. The femur is the strongest and longest bone in the human body, securing the stability of the latter. A femoral neck fracture is a fracture in the narrowest place of the bone, where the long femur bone goes over to the head of femur, connecting the femur bone with the acetabulum. Considering the influence of high energetic effects on the bone, the most often during sports or accidents, fractures might occur with younger individuals. However, the fractures are more frequent with older individuals: especially women are more prone to these, in context with influence of postmenopausal osteoporosis. In the Czech Republic, according to statistics, approximately 10.000 individuals per year suffer from this injury, with a clear predominance of women. For 20% of all Czech women aged 60-65 years, there is a strong probability of falling at least once a year. With women aged 80-84 years, this probability increases to one third (Trča, Kudrna, Hořejší, 2008). The theoretical part of this work describes the anatomy of the femur and the pelvic bone building up a hip joint. Further on, biomechanics of the hip joint, including etiology, classification and diagnosis of the femur together with the possibility of operative or conservative medical treatment, are considered. The practical part is based on qualitative research, using observation and interviews. Out of observation methods, the following were chosen: aspection, palpation, goniometrical and anthropometrical examination, examination of walking, muscle shortening and muscle strength that are observed at the beginning, during and at the end of the therapy. Patients of Traumatologic Department of the Hospital of Ceske Budejovice a.s. were chosen for this research. Two groups of patients are being observed: The first group consists of a man treated in conservative way and a woman with 1.5 year old femur fracture, originally treated by osteosythesis, indicated for total endoprosthesis out of a reason of a necrosis. These both patients were being observed for 6 weeks. The second group - a woman treated by osteosynthesis ? proximal femoral nail and a man with total endoprosthesis - were being observed for 8 days of therapy treatment in an early stage after the surgical intervention. Prior to starting the therapy, all patients were informed about the methods and targets of the therapy. The aim of the work is to map physiotherapeutic methods used for treatment of patients after femoral neck fracture, including a short term and a long term plan. The short term plan is especially focused on retreat of swelling and pain, restoring the muscular strength and movement and on training of walking with two crutches. The long term plan goal is approaching the same quality of life preceding the injury, especially by securing a better stability as prevention of falling down. All studied patients show a relatively quick improvement of the swelling and of the pain, especially these patients treated operatively. Verticalization of the patient is another important element, which is allowed by the classical treatment not earlier than after six weeks being confined to bed. Compared with this method, the operative method is more advantageous, allowing an earlier descend of the bed, helping avoiding such complications as thromboembolic disease, pneumonia or forming decubitus. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is not to evaluate a better and more efficient treatment method for the corresponding case - the sample of patients being not representative enough for such a purpose, but to remind and sum up the different used methods and means of physiotherapy.

Education of Romanies Pupils in Alternative Shapes of Education Focused on Waldorfs Schoul
SAMCOVÁ, Štěpánka
The subject of the diploma thesis belongs due to its character to the domain of educational psychology and sociology of education. The thesis deals with the advantages of education of Romani children in Waldorf schools. The key terms are: education, Roma minority, cognitive determinants, Waldorf pedagogy. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the questions of education of Romani children as well as the general information about the Roma minority in the Czech Republic, the methods of education of Romani children in dependence on their school achievements, the description of cognitive determinants of Romani pupils in relation to their school efficiency and the demonstration of advantages of Waldorf pedagogy for Romani children comparing with the traditional educational system.

Dynamika rozšířeného Kaldorova modelu s racionálním očekáváním výkonnosti kapitálu a adaptivním očekáváním inflace
Kodera, Jan ; Sladký, Karel ; Vošvrda, Miloslav
The article deals with non-linear dynamics of an extended Kaldor model including not only (traditional) production and capital stock dynamics, but even interest rate and price dynamics with adaptive expectation of inflation. In the extended model we check equilibrium, its stability or nonstability, orbits of the system and its changes related to changes of the system parameters. The results of the analytical approch and computer modeling are also presented.

Nondestructive Surveying Methods Applied at the Construction Site 0136, Highway D1 Říkovice - Přerov
Hašek, Vladimír ; Kovárník, J. ; Ondra, K.
A combination of archaeological data, and aerial and geophysical surveying over construction site 0136 Říkovice - Přerov (Highway D 1) has yielded a considerable amount of information, which suggest a relatively dense inhabitation especialy in the northern part of the construction site (right terrace in the valley of Bečva River in the vicinity of Přerov), and rather scarce indications in the southern part. An efficient combination of different methods brought about background information sufficient to subsequently excavate specific areas, which contributed significantly to reducing the costs and time necessary to complete the archaeological research.

An Employee Education and Development System in a Selected Organization
MEINELOVÁ, Soňa
The goal of this thesis entitled "An Employee Education and Development System in a Selected Organization" is an analysis of the existing education systém in the selected organization, an evaluation its setting and a proposal appropriate measures to eliminate or help eliminate its potential deficiencies. In order to achieve the goal is made part of the initial theoretical work, based on the staging of literature dealing with the issue of staff training. The first chapter presents a general introduction to the education system. It defines the concept of education, describes what areas it covers and explains why it is important for the company to pay due attention to personnel training. Another chapter, entitled "Systematic education" has been closely engaged in the systematic education, which is one of the basic prerequisites of effective staff training. The systematic education defines four key phases of the cycle, namely the identification of training needs, planning education, training and actual implementation of the final phase of evaluating the results of the educational program and assessing its effectiveness. The practical part is devoted to a specific goal of the study, analysis of the education system of the selected organization, which is the Regional Council of South Bohemia. At first the position and scope of the organization within the region are characterized and its organizational structure is described. Then the system of education for officials in this office is mapped . It was found out that this system works in four basic areas such as initial training, ongoing training, proficiency tests and training managers. Individual areas are described in detail, which helps the last phase of work, finding deficiencies and subsequent propose measures for their elimination. These recommendations should lead to greater efficiency and improve the existing system.

Evaluation of business efficiency
GÁLL, Igor
Aim of this thesis was to evaluate efficiency of business using analyzes. In the theoretical part is described developement and measurement options of business efficiency ranking from traditional to modern options. In the practical part most of these analyzes and models were used on model of specific business. Evaluating efficiency of business started with financial analysis. For next evaluation was used index IN95 and model of Mr. Christiana Binkerta. Main focus was drawn to results of Economic Value Added (EVA) calculated by modular model according to the methodology MPO. Finally business was compared with results using indrustry benchmarking diagnostic of financial indicators INFA.

Findings levels of physical efficiency at select football teams by the UNIFITTEST 6- 60\\
STROPEK, Michal
The main subject of this diploma thesis was to find out and compare the motor skills level and the somatic characteristics by standard testing battery Unifittest 6-60. This research was applied on two youth football teams which are U14 category. After all, these aspects were compared with the population average and both teams among them too. Testing was done during the summer preparatory term. All facts were gained and evaluated personally. The teams were chosen deliberately from two different competitive levels and we supposed the better results for the team of the higher competition. This premise was confirmed, apart from some exceptions.
