Stress analysis of the total hip joint endoprosthesis head under ISO 7206-5 loading
Varga, Jozef ; Hlavoň, Pavel (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyse axisymetric tasks by norm ISO 7206-5, which is used to determination of static strength of ceramic heads. In the numeric analysis there will be considered form variances from nominal conicalness and circularity of stem sections i.e. possible variances caused by production. Furthermore form changes of recess inside of the head measured on real samples will be considered. All these variances from nominal values are necessary to analyse in more details, because they can participate in destruction of ceramic heads. The stem system, ceramic head and load cone (DHK) will be simulated as a 2D axisymetric task and 3D quarter symetrical task. That is why is necessary to undertake also comparing analysis of 2D and 3D tasks and compare results or eventually evaluate the error. This problem is solved using of Finite element System ANSYS 11.0.
The stress and modal analysis in parametric adaptive CAD programs
Sedláček, Petr ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Kuchyňková, Hana (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on the use of the finite element method (FEM) in program environment of Autodesk Inventor Professional (AIP) 2010. For the analysis of the components or assemblies with FEM serves the Strength analysis module of the AIP 2010, whose environment and functions are detailed in this thesis. At the conclusion practical examples of modal and static analysis on the synchronous generator rotor model are demonstrated including a brief evaluation of the results.
Stress analysis of the tree root of an aircraft engine turbine wheel
Čepica, Vojtěch ; Svoboda, Miroslav (referee) ; Chromek, Lukáš (advisor)
The main focus of the bachelor thesis is stress analysis of the tree root of an aircraft engine turbine wheel. First part is dedicated to the issue of aircraft engine and various kinds of mounting the rotor blades. Next chapters of the thesis involve the calculation itself. The known equatations have been used in case of analytical calculation whereas the ANSYS Workbench program based on final element method has been used for the numerical calculations. Finally I compared both approaches in conclusion of the thesis.
Design of storage tank
Jahodová, Miroslava ; Lošák, Pavel (referee) ; Létal, Tomáš (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor thesis is a structural design of a vertical cylindrical storage tank with fixed roof. In the first part, basic types of storage tanks are described, followed by various approaches to structural design of a vertical cylindrical storage tank. Second part includes design calculations of the vertical cylindrical storage tank according to the standard ČSN EN 1993-4-2 as well as stress analysis using finite element method.
Stress, deformation and strength analysis of the frontal recumbend axle
Valenda, Jakub ; Gayer, Tomáš (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on evaluation of tenseness and safety of a recumbert bike's front axle using method of basic elasticity. Calculation is limited to three options that differ in manner of frame's load. Used model of the axle is beam with two straight and one curved part. A bend and twist are considered as dominant stress. In conclusion there is for each load status evaluated the progress of tension on a beam's length, safety in critical point and deformation in point of power effect on axle. In my bachelor thesis there was used Matlab software for analytic calculation. Ancillary drawings were created in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Deformation, stress and safety analysis of the bicycle frame.
Ondrejka, Jan ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess complience and safety of the bicycle frame with basic elasticity approach, namely by deformation and stress analysis. After model simplyfying, two different cases were made. Difference between these two were in loads aplied on the frame. Maple 12.0 softwarre was used for calculation, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD were used for sketches. The results were checked with ANSYS Workbench.
Solid Edge - Design of Omnidirectional Mobile Robot Platform
Poul, Ota ; Šoustek, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design of three and four wheeled omnidirectional mobile robot platform. Design of both platforms is created in CAD software Solid Edge ST4. The result of this work are 3D models of mobile robot platforms for drawing documen-tation and subsequent realisation of platforms using predefined motor units. For both variants of the platform a stress simulation and visualisation were created within the possibilities of applied software.
Total knee arthroplasty
Zděblo, Jakub ; Marcián, Petr (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with total knee arthroplasty. Describes the historical development from the view of the structural types and materials used in manufacturing. It characterizes various materials, focusing on mechanical properties. The thesis involves strain - stress analysis by finite element method using ANSYS software in the examination of the causes of knee joint replacement failure.
Stress and strength analysis of the bike frame and compliance assessment at selected construction places.
Prášil, Jiří ; Horníková, Jana (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
Purpose of this work was the realization of stress and strenght analysis of the bike frame with the help of the basic elasticity approach. At first I had to transfer this task from three-dimensional to two-dimensional and also to simplify to fulfill the beam conditions. I also focused on static safety of the construction. This static safety was solved for two loading modes. First one was define as the load, which cyclist can induce, when he is going on the direct road. Second one was defined as the load, which he can induce, when he is going up to the hill. I used for these calculations mathematical software such as Mathcad 14 or Maple 12, but also modeling software especially Autocad for establishing correct dimensions. At the end I checked the stress and strain analysis obtained by the basic elasticity approach with the solution performed making use of the ANSYS software code.
Proposal of a multilayer pressure vessel
Klement, Jan ; Suchánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis is implementation of optimal constructional design of pressure vessel on the given pressure and inside and outside radius. Own strenght calculation is done by analytic method. In the conclusion the thesis devoting of literature search of ways analytic analysis of multilayer pressure vessel.
