Simulation of ultrasound sequences in contrast mode
Staňková, Jana ; Hesko, Branislav (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the principle of contrast imaging techniques for ultra-sound imaging. In the first part there are described basic principles and characteristics of ul-trasound waves for the understanding. It is also focused on ultrasound contrast agents used in contrast enhanced ultrasound imaging. The important part is the description of perfusion mo-dels with a focus obtain perfusion parametres and analyze perfusion curves obtained by mea-suring the ultrasound contrast agent over time. The second part is devoted to designing a pro-gram for generating simulated ultrasound images and description of the simulation of 2D ul-trasound tomograms.
Acquisition, Modeling and Signal Processing in Ultrasound Perfusion Imaging
Mézl, Martin ; Kozubek, Michal (referee) ; Flusser,, Jan (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This work deals with possibilities of ultrasound perfusion analysis for the absolute quantification of perfusion parameters. In the theoretical part of this work are discussed possibilities of using of the ultrasound contrast agents and approaches for the perfusion analysis. New methods for the perfusion analysis are suggested and tested in the practical part of this work. The methods are based on convolutional model in which the concentration of the contrast agent is modeled as aconvolution of the arterial input function and the tissue residual function. The feasibility of these methods for the absolute quantification of perfusion parameters is shown on data from phantom studies, simulations and also preclinical and clinical studies. The software for the whole process of the perfusion analysis was developed for using in hospitals.

Bali-Jenčíková, Kateřina ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is research the principles of ultrasound imaging, description of mathematical models that are used to estimate perfusion parameters of concentration curves. Thesis also includes a theoretical analysis of genetic algorithms. In the practical part, solves the realization of global optimization methods and their subsequent evaluation. Implementation was solved by in Matlab.
Non-contrast MRI perfusion imaging
Kruml, Ondřej ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Krátká, Lucie (advisor)
This bachelor paper is focused on the magnetic resonance perfusion imaging technic without the usage of an external contrast media. This paper contains a look at the basic functional principle of the magnetic resonance. The focus is then set set on the Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL) technic. The basic principle of ASL uses protons from the water mocelules in arterial blood as an endogenous contrast agent. This technic can be used for obtaining a perfusion map of any tissue without the usage of invasiont echnics or contrast agents. The quantification of perusion was done applying the FAIR-RARE scheme, which belongs to the large family pulsed ASL.
Ultrasound Image Sequence Segmentation
Gallo, Vladimír ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This paper presents basic principles of ultrasonography, review of different modes of medical ultrasound imaging, principle of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and review of basic techniques of image segmentation. The individual methods based on edge detection and region growing were implemented in Matlab. The performance of algorithms were tested in each category using synthetic and phantom image data.

Je zde představen teoretický základ fyziologických modelů a modelů akvizice pomocí magnetické rezonance a celý řetězec potřebný k vytvoření obrazů odhadu parametrů perfúze a mikrocirkulace v tkáni. Tato dizertační práce je souborem uveřejněných prací autora přispívajícím k rozvoji metodologie perfúzního zobrazování a zmíněného potřebného teoretického rozboru.
Phantom model for perfusion imaging
Borovičková, Michaela ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This work focuses on issues relating to the perfusion analysis. The aim of this work is to perform experimental measurements of the phantom and then evaluate the perfusion curves. This curves are used to himation of perfusion hemodynamic parameters, which indicates important informatik about monitoring area. All processes associated with the designation and evaluation are performed in a program named Matlab. The output of work is a system that provides the reader into the problem of perfusion analysis and allows him to understand and know what is the meaning od analysis, what demands are placed on the evaluation and what is the result of this perfusion analysis.
Perfusion image processing
Dolníček, Petr ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis was to create a script in MATLAB, which is capable to load DICOM pictures, read the data in their headers and then select the right series for perfusion analysis. This analysis is based on detection of contrast fluid in bloodstream and tissue and right interpretation of concentration changes of this fluid in time. This work is trying to describe a way of building an ultimate system capable of autonomous tumor analysis and classification. In the end, there is an analysis of DICOM sample performed by created script.
Investigative CT algorithms for the early diagnosis of ischemic brain lesions
VOHNOUTOVÁ, Markéta
Stroke is the second most often cause of death in the Czech Republic after heart attack. It is not to say that older people are afflicted in particular. In the last period of ten years there are more often cases of stroke and ictus for people at the age of 40. The aim of this bachelor work is processing of knowledge acquisition in summary. The main point of this work is to evaluate the asset of new software programmes of multidetector computed tomography during early diagnostic of sudden strokes. In part of Present state there are following terms described in detail. It is etiology, aethiopathogenesis, risk factors of stroke. The next part is centred on anatomy of brain vascular supply and computed tomography Nowadays, software programmes have been improved enough for early diagnostics of ischaemic brain lesion. It is caused with continual improvement of diagnostic imaging and its digitalization. In many medical fields it has been spoken about new field of imaging - digital radiography. The computed tomography represents star part in the diagnostics, scanning of non-enhanced brain is the first period of the diagnostics, this algorithm shows us if it concerns haemorrhage or non-haemorrhage centre, continuing perfusion of brain which represents chat percent of tissue is damaged forever and it is finished with diagnostic process Angiography. The following part is focused on processing of data acquisition from České Budějovice Hospital, Inc. and Masaryk Municipal Hospital in Jilemnice. In these hospitals there are the numbers of patients examined CT compared. My hypotesis is confirmed and I can say that usage of new software programmes for early diagnostic of sudden strokes reduces per cent of complications during their cure.
