Roads Increase the Performance of the Manufacturing Enterprise
Říha, Lukáš ; Machala, Pavel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis is focused to performance improvement in the small company. Next pages contain analysis of current state and manufacturing wasting elimination as well. This thesis joins three theories which are combinated each to others. It means Lean Management, Six Sigma and Theory of constrains. Part of this document includes the estimate of financial costs to improve performance through the whole manufacturing company.
Benefit to Optimalization of Project Planning in Custom Manufacturing
Šikulová, Iva ; Šebek, Jiří (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This master’s thesis analyses problems which are related to planning of orders in form of projects in custom manufacturing in a particular company. The basic for this work is the evaluation of analysis of actual planning of orders situation. On the basis of this analysis is proposed further recommendation for optimalization of project planning in custom Manufacturing whose creating was the main content this master’s thesis.
Implementation of lean management techniques based on the analysis of bottlenecks in selected company
Tůmová, Romana ; Zelená, Veronika (advisor) ; Váchová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of thesis is implemention the chosen techniques of lean management in the company named European Trailer Systems Ltd. based on the identification of bottlenecks. The theoretical part provides basic definitions of bottleneck, Theory of Constraints, Lean management and selected methods of lean management. The practical part begins with the company's European Trailer Systems s.r.o characteristic while describe the current situation. Furthermore, the practical part will focus on the identification of bottlenecks that occur in company European Trailer Systems Ltd. in the production process of sliding roofs, will be followed by a proposal to eliminate found bottlenecks with using methods of lean management and possibly their implementation.
Application of modern elements in classical project management
Országh, Martin ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (advisor) ; Nedzelský, Roman (referee)
This thesis deals with project management and with different ways in which can be cur-rently approached. Beside the conventional, classical approach based on processes, modern approaches based on the theory of constraints and agile principles are discussed. Based on analysis, the main objective of the thesis is firstly to find weaknesses in the classical project management and strong key elements of modern approaches and after that to make suggestions to enhance the classical approach with the selected strong elements of modern approaches.
Application of LEAN and TOC to solve the problem of low capacity of fabric cutting machine.
Šimon, Jan ; Martínez, Felipe (advisor) ; Hykš, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with the application of the methodology LEAN and TOC to solve the problem of low capacity of fabric cutting machine. The aim of the thesis is to apply LEAN and TOC methodology to propose solutions for continuous improvement of cutting process. To solve the problem itself is used mainly principle of five focusing steps, which is based on the theory of constraints and which is described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The theoretical part also introduces some methods and tools of lean management, which are already in place in the company BOS Automotive Products CZ, s.r.o, also their specific applications are demonstrated. During research was identified a potential source of continuous improvement. This source are data that constantly sends cutter during operation. In conclusion are summarized results and suggestions for improvement based on the used principles and recommendations for further improvement.
Vylepšení procesu digitální podpory použitím osvědčených postupů přístupem ITIL, Kanban a TOC v multikulturním prostředí
Králik, Miroslav ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kalantar Hormozi, Kaveh (referee)
Many companies today have to deal with business processes optimization, ongoing removal of system obstacles and identifying any bottlenecks laying on the way which are preventing us to reach our goals. I would like to show how we have dealt with similar problems in our case applied in the department of web application maintenance. In the first chapter I will introduce the basic information about the history, environment the company operate in and maintenance activities which are part of the process. Following with description all of the system obstacles and bottlenecks identified in the process and possible solutions or improvements for their elimination. In the last chapter I will present the achieved results after my executing of the proposed improvements and if the expectations have been met or not and what positive or negative influence it has brought.

The first part describes the common project management methodologies, the specifics of the project management in advertising agencies and the Theory of Constraints. The second part analyzes a particular advertising agency using the Theory of Constraints and proposes a set of changes to its methodology, mostly in the area of project planning and project management. The merit and main output of the work consists of the proposed changes to the advertising agency project management methodology.
Process analysis of the ECDL concept
Urbanová, Hana ; Oškrdal, Václav (advisor) ; Veselá, Judita (referee)
The thesis focuses on the process analysis of the ECDL concept, the so-called driver's license for a computer. The theoretical section provides the definition of the terms "process" and "process analysis", and describes the standards for process modelling and the methods for evaluating the effectiveness of processes. The theoretical section concludes with a description and comparison of the four options for testing computer skills in the Czech Republic - Microsoft Office Specialist, Atom, Prometric, ECDL. The practical section describes and graphically demonstrates the selected processes (Registration, Testing, Evaluation) and evaluates the effectiveness and financial demands of the ECDL concept processes. In its conclusion the practical section evaluates the feasibility of implementation of the proposed changes.
Motivation of Workers on Project Managed by TOC
Májský, Tomáš ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (advisor) ; Šebesta, Michal (referee)
The work deals with issue of workers motivation on projects managed by method of Theory of constraints (TOC) which improves efficiency of projects. But this management method requires completely different manner of project workers consideration which can be unnatural for many people. This can cause same problems that in extreme cases may involve unsuccessful implementation of TOC. This is the reason why importance of motivation rapidly increases in connection with deployment and sustainment of Critical Chain Project Management. Main goals of this work are to describe most important differences between TOC and original methods of project management, to indentify impact of TOC on project workers, and (in relationship with previous findings) to evaluate existing theories of motivation and make a proposal of some measures for people motivation which are based on these theories.
