Evaluating production efectivity
Czipszer, Jiří ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the issue of evaluation of efficiency and data collection of lines in production, using the APROL program from B\&R automation. The aim of this work is to create a program completed requirement, which is going to be compared with already implemented projects of the company and will serve to create a company standard. The first part is devoted to the description of the theory of this issue and used software. The second part describes the solution of the line simulator and the whole concept of collection and evaluation.

The diploma thesis deals with evaluation of obtained data from selected production equipment. The theoretical part is focused on production management, description of information production systems and defining methods for evaluation of machine efficiency. The practical part describes the current situation of selected productive sections and outputs from two compared systems. Next step is the calculation of OEE indicators, evaluation of individual workplaces and suggestions for improvement.
Design of Lean Production and its Implementation into the Conditions of Operation when Applying Digitization
Šmíd, Václav ; Matušinec, David (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on design of lean production and its implementation by means of digitization in Fatra, a.s. Napajedla. The partial goal of the thesis is to analyze the functions, advantages and importance of the MES system in the company. First, the company, its production portfolio and organizational structure will be introduced. In the analytical part of the thesis, the production process and the current state of production in the selected section will be characterized. The practical part will focus on optimizing production using digital outputs. The thesis contains a proposal that contributes to increase of efficiency in the given production section.
The Study Management Standards for the Manufacturing Organization
Altmanová, Hana ; Hansmann, Radek (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims on the analysis of performance standards and the usability of key technology in the production company KLEIN automotive s.r.o. Subsequently the thesis suggests a solution for calculating standards according to new methods for a particular technology of the company. The solution takes into the latest trends in performance standards calculation and performance monitoring while achieving economic returns.
Usability of OEE in the Automotive manufacturing plant
Poledník, Tomáš ; Steiner, Patrik (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a comprehensive solution for the collection of production indicators in the commercial vehicle sector, called Automotive. The design is done by analyzing the state and identifying the bottlenecks of the OEE (Total Equipment Effectivenes). Further, the thesis describes the general theory of efficiency, availability and FPY (First Pass Yield). Realization and visualization of several production equipment variants for raw data collection from production lines in the manufacturing company IMI International CZ s.r.o. - a leading manufacturer of pneumatic components for the automotive and automation industry.
Control of headlight assembly line
Sikora, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of the reflector assembly line. The document contains the analysis of the customer requirements sheet. In short there is written how to put the parts of the reflector together. The Poka-Yoke method is properly described in this work too. This method is used to design of the actions, which are trying to decrease the risk level of wrong reflector composition as low as it is possible. FMEA and PFMEA methods are explained in theory. There is the plan how to make the analysis too. The instrumentation of one part of the line is designed according to this analysis and according to the customer requirements. The OEE pointer is used to test the right effect of the Poka-Yoke method. The next aim of this thesis is to compare chosen PLCs for control of the assembly line and to choose one of them. On the base of the analysis there is designed the control program in the flowcharts form. One part of this thesis is focused on design of the visualization for the chosen operational panel.
The complex control system of production of bottle filling line machine
Karola, Ladislav ; Milan, Sobotka (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The Master’s Thesis is focused to introduction MES systems and factory information systems. Describes main advantages of applying MES systems and describes concept of Six Big Losses, which characterise main losses in production. For quantification of losses are used indicators like OEE. Next part is simulation data of Filler Machine and producing via OPC Server. Main application made in software SIMATIC IT by Siemens is collecting, processing and archiving data to PPA database due to rules and setups. Presentation of data is powered by Data Report which provides overview of efficiency and main losses in production.
Principles of lean manufacturing and its implementation in the CNC workplace
Paseka, Jan ; Brno, Jaroslav Kaderka - IFE-ČR, (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
Tendency of this bachelor thesis is the proposal of saving actions and reduction of waste in an industrial company. The first part contains a general overview of lean manufacturing methods and instruments that help increase productivity, quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process. Based on these methods and long-term analysis of the workplace the proposals were set described in second part. Thanks to these proposals all basic kinds of waste and cost savings are reduced.
Optimisation of the selected manufacturing process in the company Car manufacturing.
Šmídová, Pavla ; Svobodová, Hana (advisor) ; Rosa, Alexandr (referee)
This thesis deals with the optimisation of the selected manufacturing process. The aim is to analyse the effectiveness of the selected welding and assembly lines. Another objective is to do a detailed analysis for the line with the lowest efficiency in terms of cycle time and the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and calculate the lost production time due to availability, performance and defects. The third objective is to identify possible measures leading to higher utilization of manufacturing line and to propose a possible implementation. The theoretical part is based on the literature examining the term standardization, the norms of labour intensity, the cycle time, the Total Productive Maintenance and the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness. In the practical part the profile of Car manufacturing is being presented, the analysis of secondary data to calculate the Overall Equipment Effectiveness is being done and the appropriate manufacturing line for the innovative plan is being selected. Furthermore, the analysis of secondary data regarding the effectiveness of the using time of the manufacturing line is being done, the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and the collection of primary data is being carried out. Subsequently, the problematic spots of the manufacturing line are being found and the possible measures leading to higher efficiency of manufacturing line are being proposed.
Ways to improve business performance of HART Tašky s.r.o. through racionalization of production process
Kobelka, Jan ; Svobodová, Hana (advisor) ; Mejdrech, Vlastimil (referee)
This thesis mainly focuses on gathering data regarding the production process and processes closely related in firm HART Tašky s.r.o. Based on the gathered data consideres ways to improve the firms business through rationalizing the given processes. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and aplication part. The theoretical part focuses mainly on operational management, production and production processes. It also focusess on Overall Equipment Effectivnes and also contains brief description of Pareto's analysis. The aplication part familiarizes the reader with the business of firm HART Tašky s.r.o. Within this firm analyses the production process and its effectivness. It also contains the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectivnes coeficient and aplies the Paretos principle on the firms products. In case of finding inefficient processes suggests a way of racionalization and increase of effectivness of these processes.
