Landscape Composition of Count Frantisek Josef Schlik and the "Landscape Creation" around the Year 1700

This thesis describes the landscape composition of Czech Count Frantisek Josef Slik (Frantz Joseph Schlik, 1656-1740) and attempts to define the influences and principles which were involved in the formation of the landscape in the manors of Kopidlno, Stare Hrady and Velis- Voksice, now in the Czech Republic, during the life of the aristocrat. Frantisek Josef Schlik ruled the manors for over 60 years and during that time he was responsible for many architectural works with considerable landscape-forming and urbanistic potential. A series of visually interlinked chapels was erected in the Velis-Voksice manor. This series included the meierhof with a little palace in Voksice. This landscape composition has been discussed especially as regards its formal design, but its connection to the Count's motivation has been less well researched, as has been the broader social and, especially, religious context in the area. Another aspect that has been put aside, or not perceived within the context of the manorial landscape, were other structures which Frantisek Josef Schlik built or which were of essential importance for the activities in the manor. The Values of the Cultural Landscape around the Lomec sanctuary

This dissertation deals with breakdown of landscape in proximity of pilgrimage site Lomec in South Bohemia. This location was chosen on bases of personal visit and obtainment of basic knowledge about the general area. While determining the part of the area for this work, all key values and elements, that are characteristic for local landscape, were taken into account. The dissertation is made of two parts. The first part is general (theoretical) and the second part is specific (analytic). The general part deals with given issue and introduces introduction to the topic. The specific part contains the own work of the author, which besides other things embodies the main contribution of this work (mainly some of its parts, in catalogue). Aim and outcome of the work is to create analysis (in a form of catalogue) of the area, first mentioned in second paragraph of the abstract. For this purpose data obtained during own terrain survey is used. Findings from all available literar sources, pertaining to the current issue, are being used.

The thesis on the topic "Designed landscape -- analysis and proposed care" is interested in identification of designed landscape. The first part summarizes the main types and characteristics of designed landscape and the time of their formation. Selected model area was studying by methodics based on Methodics of identification designed landscape, which was created by Department of landscape planning. Besides landscaping survey, there were explored historical and also contemporary maps, picture data and literature and other sources. The next part is interested in designed vegetation elements ant their possible link with territorial system of ecological stability. Also there are some elementary principles about care of potentially designed landscape

The methodology of identification composed landscapes presents procedures, which are used to identify traces and signs of intentional creation of space according landscape architectural principles in today's cultural landscape . Landscape composition is still often involved in the organization of space, its identity and characteristics of the landscape, but ignorance of their composition and integrity leads to the disruption and damage caused by rough spatial development.

Krajinářská analýza a návrh obnovy

This diploma thesis deals with the designed landscape, its development in the respective time periods, the possible renovation and protection of designed landscapes. Also the topic of avenues has been discussed marginally. The area that has been chosen for the landscape study is the cultural and agricultural landscape of the former manor Uherčice in the westernmost part of the Znojmo region. There were researches undertaken in this area and basic analyses of the primary, secondary and tertiary landscape composition were processed. Based on the results of the analyses the values and problems of the landscape could be determined. Further the principles for the renovation of the treated area were defined, including the solution proposal.

The thesis deals with the issue of cultural landscape and composed landscapes in general. There is marginally solved also an issue of dealing with composed landscapes nowadays. The model territory is the village cadastre of Křinec near the Nymburk. The landscape was the subject of a detailed analysis of primary and secondary landscape structure. Historical landscape structure and layer composed landscapes were thoroughly discussed and on the basis of the available materials there were defined stages of their development. The findings were illustrated in cartography and drawing diagrams. The analysis part was the starting point for defining the values and problems of the model area. These were crucial for the design part, which output is the landscape study. The landscape study addresses three basic design layer, a layer composed landscape, an ecological stability of the area and working relationships.

This bachelor thesis deal with the landscape of Konopiště castle as designed landscape. The main idea was to analyze it and confirm or refute the hypothesis that the landscape of Konopiště castle is designed landscape. Through literature review thesis summarizes the issue of designed landscape and brings the possibilities of public partcipation in the planning progress. The practical part of thesis deals with the analyses of landscape and composition of the area. Outputs are reflected into the proposal of landscape management to optimize tourism friendly and sustainable. Through a special proposal of green way thesis inspires to elucidate the history and a big value of this tourist destination.
Participative management of vegetation in designed landscape in the Štěkeň area

This thesis is a basework for a grant application for the project of restoration of tree lines in the Štěkeň area. The general aim of this proposal is (1) to prepare inventory of present tree and alley composition, and (2) to prepare the inventory of spatial distribution of old and memorial trees in the study area. The restoration of vegetation is supported by the project of landscape heritage area, which was prepared during the workshop of landscape architects in 2013.
