Bundle of programs for teaching signal and image processing
Riško, Miroslav ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of my diploma project is to create a program that will serve as a support for the teaching. Project is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I will discuss the theory necessary for development of this work. The practical part will describe functionality of created applets.

The Effect of Taping Applied on the Skin with the Orientation along the Muscle Fibres of Underlying Muscle on the Activity of this Muscle
Vrbová, Martina ; Pánek, David (referee) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor)
The Effect of Taping Applied on the Skin along with the Orientation Muscle Fibres of the Underlying on the Muscle Activity of this Muscle BACKGROUND: Taping, a straight-chain applications naplasfovych tension on the skin Tapovan areas with the aim of a preventive or therapeutic input in the musculoskeletal system, in current clinical practice used many methods. Presto has not yet been satisfactorily objectively assess the effect of taping on muscle activity and is also missing a job that would comprehensively presented the theoretical bases of this method. Objective: The objective of this thesis was vytvofit pfehled current theoretical knowledge concerning the issue of taping and in the context of a clinical trial after tapu evaluate the effect applied (in several different ways in two different cases by material) in the course of muscle fibers to the activity of the underlying muscle. Methods: The study was conducted on five healthy subjects that have been Comparing median frequency during the change of EMG signals during a three-minute duration with Isometric muscle contraction of 30% MVC for m. biceps brachii PFI state without use tapu and dale at tfech different ways by taping on the skin in the course of muscle fiber, without tension, the tension acting in shortening and tension acting to stretch,...

Design and realization of small wireless network
Žebrák, Miroslav ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
This work deals with the design and realization of small wireless network. The achievement of the goal was enabled due to unique design tool and supported by thorough analysis. The first part describes wireless networks in general terms including types of networks and suitable places for its implementing. The next part focuses on norms, technologies and topology that wireless networks can use. The last chapter of the theoretical part explains basic terms of networks safety. The design of school wireless network and the computation of signal coverage is the main part of the work. The contribution of this work is that it serves as an example of the design system that shows how the design might be precise. Such a design can be the basis for the building up wireless network and enables subsequent verification of predicted results.

Dynamics of spin-polarised carriers in semiconductors
Rozkotová, Eva
The work deals with the dynamics of spin-polarized charge carriers and their inuence on the magnetization in ferromagnetic semiconductor (Ga,Mn)As. Th e experimental methods used for the measurement are time-resolved dierential reectivity and time-resolved Kerr rotation techniques of ultrafast laser spectroscopy. Th e inuence of impurities on the carrier dynamics and the role of magnetic ions on spin relaxation of photogenerated electrons in (Ga,Mn)As was investigated using dierential reectivity technique. In the Kerr rotation signal the component independent on the spin polarization of the photoexcited carriers but dependent on their concentration was identied. Th is spin-insensitive component is present only in the ferromagnetic state of the semiconductor ( below TC ) and shows an oscillating behavior which was attributed to the precession of the magnetization induced by the change in the material anisotropy. Th e inuence of dierent experimental conditions (wavelength, intensity...) on this component of Kerr rotation signal was also investigated.

Verification of the Functionality of a Technical Analysis
Štěpánek, Petr ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor) ; Radonský, Tomáš (referee)
The work presents techncical analysis and some of its tools. The purpose of the work is to test if the chosen technical analysis tools work during intraday stocktrading in the USA. In that intention the sample of five american companies was selected and monitored for five business days. Each company's price development was analyzed on a day to day basis on grounds of chosen technical analysis tools. The intention was to find the exact moments when all of the indicators signaled the clear future price trend. The conclusions suggest that the technical analysis is not the responsible tool for intraday stocktrading.

Text readability analysis
Tichá, Petra ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This semestral work deals with the EOG signal recording in reading condition. The theoretical part contains description of physiology and anatomy of ocular system, types of ocular movements and its use during a reading process. Principles of copywriting and typographic text parameters, which influence text readability, are introduced in this work as well. Principle of electrooculography and description of detectable elements in obtained signal are explained in chapter EOG. The chosen algorithm is described in the next chapter. Some detected parametres are converted into a single parameter which expresses the text readability. The results are statistically processed and there are made recommendations for the creation of optimally readable text.

Ultrasonic distance measurement
Giemza, Michal ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and realization of an ultrasonic distance meter. Is discussed about the principle of distance measurement using ultrasound and all physics laws, that occur during the measurement. It was selected the most appropriate measurement method, was also discussed about different types of ultrasonic transducers and was selected an appropriate converter for the specified task. The following part describes all function parts of the meter together with the processing of the detected ultrasonic signal. Next part is focused on the realization of the meter and programming, including the control of the graphical display and communication over the USB bus. The last part deals with the measurement with the completed meter to verify the functionality and the right choice of measurement method and circuit solution.

Detection of nestin in tissues
Vařejčková, Michala ; Kudláčková, Zděnka (advisor) ; Němečková, Ivana (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Michala Vařejčková Supervisor: PhDr. Zdeňka Kudláčková, Ph.D. Consultant: prof. MUDr. Jaroslav Mokrý, Ph.D. Title of thesis: Detection of nestin in tissues Aim of the work: The aim of this study was to use immunohistochemical methods to show intermediate filament nestin occurs not only in the capillaries but also in large blood vessels - arteries and veins - which has not been published so far. We also investigated coexpression of nestin with a proliferating marker, PCNA. Methods: All studies were performed using embryos 11 and 16 days old from Wistar rats (VELAZ, Prague, Czech Republic). Expression of nestin and PCNA was detected by various types of indirect immunohistochemical method. To amplify a specific signal, we used EnVision system or biotinylated tyramide. Main results: Endothelium of blood vessels expressed nestin with a varying intensity. In some blood vessels expression of nestin was missing. In a developing tissue, nestin is gradually being replaced by increased expression of another type of intermediate filament. To identify tissue antigens that are expressed in a weak intensity, it is better to use signal amplification with tyramide. Conclusion: The results of this study...

Recognition of musical recordings
Masár, Igor ; Horka, Michal (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This thesis analyzes the specific audio signal-music. It describes the basic methods of analysis of musical signals. The following are mentioned the most common music file formats and the possibility of cross transfer. There are explained terms of music theory, which are also present in this work. They are described and created three ways of detecting melody. It is selected optimal algorithm based on the successful detection of the reference melodies recordings. User interface is created in MATLAB GUI allows recognition of recordings. This interface is tested on few melodies.
