FAMILY HOUSE IN VEVERSKÁ BÍTÝŠKA

The bachelor thesis is the project of the family house with two floors in Veverská Bítýška. It is a detached house with a partial basement in form of a rectangle. The building is designed for four people. The land is situated in a suburb of Veverská Bítýška. There is a storeroom and technical room in the basement. The first elevated floor is divided to the dressing room, vestibule with the entrance into toilet, bathroom, living room connected with dining room and kitchen and office. There is an entrance to the outdoor terrace in a living room and office. Cars could be parked under the pergola. In the second floor we find bedroom for children, workroom with cloakroom, chamber, bathroom with toilet and two bedrooms. The vertical external bearing constructions in the basement are made of concrete blocks Prescot MAX 250x300x500 mm. The vertical external bearing constructions of the elevated part of the house are made of ceramic blocks Porotherm 42.5 Ti Profi 248x425x249 mm. The vertical internal bearing constructions are made of ceramic blocks Porotherm 25 AKU P+D 372x250x238 mm. The vertical internal non-bearing constructions are made of ceramic blocks Porotherm 11.5 AKU P+D 497x115x238 mm. The horizontal bearing constructions are made of the ceramic girders Pot and the inserts Miako of the ceiling system Porotherm. The gabled roof has 40°, the roof coat is made of the concrete folded roof bag Bramac.
Diagnostics methodology of historical brickwork

The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is to carry out historical overview of progress of masonry building elements and structures, including their thorough methodology of diagnostics. The introduction text is considering historical progress of masonry elements in Czech Republic and abroad. As following are described brick manufacturing methods of present and past, which is closely related to the progress of brick dimensions and its visual appearance. On sample specimen can be observed mentioned progress in the visual appearance, mechanical properties and so on. The diagnostics of masonry structures is realised via particular tests described in the thesis. Important tests used for overall evaluation are determining brick dimensions, it is volume density, absorption, compressive strength determined via destructive and non destructive methods. Also flexural tensile strength and compressive strength of the mortar. Output of my thesis is overall evaluation of all parts mentioned above.
Masonry house

The aim of this bachelor thesis which is called „ A brick – built detached house“ is to create documentation for carrying out construction. The house is designed for a four – member family. It is situated in a suburb of Velké Němčice. The building has been designed as a detached house with two floors and no basement. The first floor consists of two parts – a technical and active one. In the technical part, there is a garage for a car, workroom, technical room, closet and staircase. In the active part, there is a living room with dining room, kitchen and entrance leading to the terrace. On the second floor, there is a closet, bathroom, drying room, separate toilet and three rooms. The load – bearing wall is made of brick breeze blocks Porotherm. The ceiling is made of POT girders and ceiling inserts Miako. Part of the house is covered with a single pitch roof with an agle of inclination of 15° made of a tin roof covering Lindab and the second part is made of a flat roof from a sloped wedge.

Bachelor´s thesis ,,Family House" is prepared in the form of project documentation for construction. This is a family house suitable for permanent housing 4 persons. The building is designed on sloping land in the village center Lubna. It will be connected to the public sewer system, the water supply, the gas pipeline and low-voltage network. The house is brick with a transverse construction system. It is quite cellared. It has a basement and two floors. The roof is a flat roof with a slope of 5 °.
Pension in Píšť

The subject of my thesis is the design of new pension in the Píšť The property adjoins the second object with the wellness facilities (not the subject of my thesis). Pension has five housing units for temporary accommodation and a residential unit owner. Property is partially basement with two floors covered with a gable roof hip. The roof is fitted with skylights. The structural system consists of a basement formwork, in the above-ground part of the building brick of Porotherm. Pension proposal respects local plan piston and existing street buildings. Further emphasis on layout design including barrier-free access, security design for the static, architectural, energy savings and safety in use of the building.
Low-rise residental buildings

The topic of the project is to design a new building of low-rise residential buildings in the locality Brno-Sadová. An urban study was already a part of the assignment, into which it was necessary to incorporate design. The basis of the architectural and structural design is simplicity, functionality and practicality. The building is made of brick, consisting of nine blocks arranged into three blocks of flats. The building has three floors, without basement. Thanks to terraced arrangement, large terraces and a covered porch at the rear emerged. Large glass surface on the south side allows a pleasant view over the historical center of Brno. Against overheating there are sun screens on the south facade. There is a total of eleven flats, hairdressing salon and a massage parlor.
