Attendance System Terminal
Chmelař, Jakub ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with electronic attendance systems which are nowadays being widely used to record employee attendance. General problem of attendance tracking is introduced in first part of the thesis along with a conceptual solution of an attendance system terminal. Author then describes a circuitry and a PCB design of a baseboard for a Cubieboard2 minicomputer, a RFID reader and a touchscreen LCD display. After successful testing of said PCB, the terminal has been completed and it was possible to focus on a software solution. Latter part of the thesis is dedicated to a specifics of the Allwinner A20 platform and its support by a GNU/Linux operating system. In following chapter author describes use of a Buildroot software for creating a Linux based binary image for an aforementioned minicomputer. Since an operating system and a peripheral support were successfully tested author could focus on a design and implementation of an attendance software that is described in the final chapter.
Design and realization of a developement board for BeagleBoard
Ťapucha, Andrej ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
Contents of the thesis is to design and create an expansion board for the BeagleBoard computer one plate . The first and very important part was to find out all the possibilities for an extension of the computer itself . Choose the right expansion port . To study the possibility distribution of individual pins . Followed by the appropriate extension election districts that demonstrate the function of each enlargement . Test was designed PCB that contains circuits that change the voltage level of the BeagleBoard to protect a mini computer to the testing of each gusset periphery prevent damage to itself or part of the BeagleBoard . The peripherals themselves bind different parts of theoretical introduction. More specifically the extension of the LCD display is selected segment and includes two lines of 16 characters . When the possibility to add additional components were necessary to deal with the shortcomings of the output pins , this problem was solved by using an expander . He extends itself BeagleBoard by another 16 pins . On these pins are connected together on the LCD matrix keyboard . The creation of the board are two circuit temperature sensors , but have a different type of communication using I2C and one second using 1 -Wire bus . The board also contains various other bus outputs , for example, UART bus. It also contains an output pin which can be controlled PWM modulation . The remaining pins are versatile GPIO pins which can be programmed to define a function using the Linux operating system . The result is a final board of the package control programs which make it possible to verify the individual peripherals.
D class audio-amplifier with digital and remote control
Petrgál, Filip ; Kovář, Jan (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
The contents of this thesis is design of audio power amplifier in Class D with fully digital control and remote control and is divided into two parts . The first part is devoted to the basic principles and theory of key elements of the entire amplifier. The second part consists of a complete description of the design and construction of a power amplifier, digital control with remote control, a spectrum analyzer, equalizer, preamp VU meters and complete power supply. Each proposal contains a detailed analysis of the solutions supported by simulations and software. For individual parts have been completely measured p arameters.
Bus analyzer with Spartan 3
Galia, Jan ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and realisation of a bus analyzer. The analyzer is programmed into Spartan-3AN XC3S50AN programmable logic device. The design includes a SRAM parallel memory and a graphical LCD display. Data output is realized through USB, microSD memory card and VGA. The thesis also describes the use of a software microprocessor PicoBlaze for the control of the LCD display and user interface. The last part deals with a test application using an 8-bit microcontroller connected to an alphanumeric display and a discussion over the results.
Generic logic analyzer
Tajč, Martin ; Povalač, Karel (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the project is to design a generic logic analyzer based on an FPGA. The analyzer should be able to analyze protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485 and GPIO. The captured data can be observed using an embedded graphical display or using a PC. The PC can be used to control the analyzer and to save the captured data. The thesis is divided into several parts. First, the basic structure of the analyzer is described including detailed description of its particular components. Later on, the most common protocols that can be decoded using the analyzer are described. Finally, the FPGA subsystem and microcontroller application are presented together with corresponding source codes.
Multifunction board computer for motorcycles
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with a design and a realization of multifunction board computer for motorcycles. The goal of the device is measuring speed, rotation speed of engine, temperature of ambient, temperature of engine, temperature in intake including signalization of overvoltage and hightemperature. The device is completed by above standard function such as measuring titl of motorcycle, climbing of route, route recording and data transmission to the computer. The thesis includes a complete solution of hardware and software part of the device.
Control Unit for Autonomous Vacuum Cleaner
Matějů, Jan ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This paper is in introduction focused on review of robotic vacuum cleaning and evaluation of available products qualities. However the main focus of this paper is system design of all subsystems, control systems and PCD design of robot electronics. In this paper is also described a method for evaluating approximate distance of robot from the obstacle. There are also described problems of system design of IR proximity sensors. The last part of this work is development of control software for robot and its testing.
Electronic thermometer
Kostka, Vladislav ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
