Bioactive substances for face cream: Determination of stability of face cream incorporated with goat's milk
Dostálová, Tereza ; Sovová, Šárka (referee) ; Enev, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a stability trial of a skin cream incorporated with goat milk lyophilizates prepared in usual laboratory conditions. Firstly, the goat milk was denatured, to be further analysed via FTIR, elemental analysis and thermogravimetry. To compare the denaturation effect, measurements with native goat milk sample were performed as well. Next, an emulsion was prepared. First stability tests were performed using analytical centrifuge and the cream preparation procedure and component ratio was optimized. Stability trials were carried out at specified time intervals. Rheological properties – especially yield stress values and structure strength, determined by linear viscoelastic region and complex modulus – thermal endurance measured via differential scanning calorimetry and visual validation via optical microscopy and sample observation were tested and performed. Skin cream stability of sample stored at laboratory temperature was demonstrated, showing moderate sings of structure destabilisation. Product suitability for dry skin was proved by sensory analysis. The skin feeling was pleasant, and the cream moisturized the surface area, that it was applied to, according to evaluators. Visually, the emulsion appeared to maintain its properties during the experiment time range, it did not undergo a complete degradation of separation into two original phases, nor it was degraded, for example by mold.

Fáze popisuje index lomu a tloušťku pozorovaného objektu.
FRP composite materials resistance to the effects of selected corrosive environments
Mičkal, Petr ; Prokeš,, Jan (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This thesis deals with monitoring of the durability of FRP reinforcements in alkaline environments with differing temperature exposures. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of a general description of the FRP composites, the manufacturing of these FRP reinforcements using pultrusion technology, the resistance of these composites in aggressive alkaline environments, and the influence of temperature on the speed and manner of degradation. In the experimental part of this thesis, the FRP reinforcements were placed in an alkaline environment tempered at different temperatures (20 °C, 40 °C, 60 °C). Subsequently, any optical physical changes of the reinforcements were described and evaluated by the use of optical microscopy and the destructive tests of these reinforcements.
Design of illumination module for CCHM microscope
Pachl, Přemysl ; Špaček, Matěj (referee) ; Dostál, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis starts with a brief overview of the basic imaging methods used in classical and quantitative phase microscopy. The main aim of the thesis is to design, construct and test a tomographic illuminator compatible with the laboratory version of the Q-PHASE microscope. The design is decomposed into several parts, where in the first step the optical requirements of the system are determined using the laws of geometrical optics. Suitable optical components are then selected and simulations are performed in the Zemax software to verify that all specified requirements are met. The compactness and compatibility of the assembly is taken into account in the design. Therefore, a prism with total internal reflection is used to illuminate the amplitude light modulator. Furthermore, the design solutions for mounting the light source, the prism and the amplitude modulator are proposed. The developed drawings are attached to this thesis. The whole assembly is assembled, adjusted and its correct function is verified by means of 16 test tomographic projections.

Luminescence of semiconductors studied by scanning near-field optical microscopy
Těšík, Jan ; Klapetek, Petr (referee) ; Křápek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This work is focused on the study of luminescence of atomic thin layers of transition metal chalkogenides (eg. MoS2). In the experimental part, the work deals with the preparation of atomic thin layers of semiconducting chalcogenides and the subsequent manufacturing of plasmonic interference structures around these layers. The illumination of the interference structure will create a standing plasmonic wave that will excite the photoluminescence of the semiconductor. Photoluminescence was studied both by far-field spectroscopy and near-field optical microscopy.

MK 53116/2016 OVV; sp. zn. MK-S 6346/2016 OVV).
