Process analysis of selling electronic magazines online

This work is focused on business process modeling and subsequent use in, how it works selling electronic magazines online. In the theoretical section describes possible options for modeling languages, then selected BPM notation and described in detail. The second section describes the technologies used to support sales of electronic magazines. In this work an example is Skimagazin magazine. In the final phase of work are given individual detailed models of how the sale works in practice. The models are mainly focused on describing how to communicate with each individual system elements and users or administrators. Due to the large degree of detail models are listed here only the main models for the functioning of online sales. At the end structure of data objects is described.
Methodologies of process analysis

The main purpose of this thesis consists of describing steps, and methodology, in the environment of deanship of a technical university's faculty. The goal is to outline methods and methodology chosen for this concrete project, with the context of specific characteristics typical for this kind of institution, and potential risks resulting from these characteristics. The project of process analysis was part of IBM Internship program, which draws out the need to describe provided tools and methodology by IBM itself. Final part of thesis will evaluate the methodology used on a project, with both IBM, and MMABP methodologies kept in mind. The main contribution of the thesis lies in the critical view of the project against methodologies' theories.
Process analysis of a subsidy program

This Master's thesis is concerned with the process analysis of a subsidy program of a governmental institution. The main objective of this dissertation is to describe and analyze the process of a program cycle as a whole as well as its individual sub-processes. The study also elaborates on the information system (IS) utilized, in the context of subsidy management, by relevant governmental institutions. Finally, hierarchies of these IS will be illustrated and future prospects for their integration will be pondered. The dissertation's main contribution to knowledge is the final assessment of the whole process along with a proposal for its enhancement. The study is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, while procedural issue is analyzed in the first part, the subsequent section focuses on the phenomenon of subsidies itself, their common attributes and in what ways do the subsidies discussed in this study differ from other subsidies. The subsidy program is described, in line with the approved documentation, and the official objectives defined. The subsidy program under consideration is administered by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and, therefore, the dissertation includes a schematic diagram depicting the organizational structure of this governmental institution as well as the relevant Department of Budget in order to provide a better understanding of the complex processes involved. The empirical part then analyzes a particular subsidy program and its sub-programs. Finally, the dissertation assesses the whole process and proposes possible ways for its enhancement.
Process analysis in AiP Safe, Ltd.

The subject of the thesis is an process analysis in the company AiP Safe, Ltd. First, theoretical approaches and methods for organization and business process analysis are summarized. The best known modeling notations are also described. For the analysis of AiP Safe, Ltd. was chosen BSP method and for process modeling was chosen BPMN notation. The result of the work is a suggestion to establish strategic goals and strategies to achieve them, change in the organizational structure, optimization of selected processes, introduction of new metrics, introduction of new information system and recommendations based on the SWOT analysis.
Analysis of real case study work for students at VŠE

The thesis is focused on cooperation between academic and corporate sector, especially on participation of companies in classes and courses at universities through involvement of their employees in teaching. The aim of this thesis is to analyze current ways of corporate sector involvement in practical parts of courses and to design proposals for possible improvements to the current practices used at The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of The University of Economics, Prague. Analysis was conducted by application of Theory of systems (General System Theory), Soft System Methodology and business process modeling (using BPMN). Based on the conclusions of the analysis three alternatives for possible improvement in the field are specified, two of them are recommended for implementation. Alternatives recommended for implementation are described in greater detail including process design and description and specification of requirements for technical, financial and human resources.
The implementation of Microsoft SharePoint in an advertising company

This work deals with the implementation of Microsoft SharePoint in an advertising company CreativeDreams Ltd. especially for the purpose of projects and contacts documentation. An important part of this work is an analysis of the current state of company in order to design a solution tailored to the needs of the company. Besides documentation of projects and contracts, the application servers also as a support for internal administrative processes and simplifies or automatizes certain activities associated with the workload. It enables planning of activities throughtout duration of the project. Finally, the application facilitates the cooperation of all employees and simplifies access to information. The conclusion summarizes advantages and disadvantages of changes associated with the implementation of the application.
Process analysis of the Centre of Information and Library Services of the University of Economics, Prague

Theme of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the processes inside the library of the University of economics. The first part is dedicated to the definition of the goals of the thesis and to the theory of the company processes. The text interprets the term of information literacy and information education and links these terms with the procedural analysis. The thesis introduces the library and identified processes for optimalization. In the second part, the identified processes are analyzed and described in the EPC notation. The thesis describes five processes and their sub-processes. The first process is the educational program, the next process is the cooperation between the university teachers and the library. Another process is the the control of the plagiarism and the use of electronical sources and thesis in the education. The last described process is the feedback from the users. The conclusion summarises the thesis and is coupled with the recommendation about the optimalization of the described processes. The goal of the thesis is to optimalize the defined processes of the informational education in the library and to improve the quality of them, so they can effectively aid the goals of the library, but also to improve the information literacy of the students.
Proposal for small enterprise information system

The goal of this paper is a proposal of information system for e-shop LuxuryBags.cz (luxury goods rental and sale). In matter of fact it is a project focused on preparation of material for third party that would be able to implement new information system according to it for Luxury Bags s.r.o. Paper introduction is focused on process analysis and process optimalization, application part is based on information system and data base proposal. Conclusion is focused on implementation strategy proposal and final summary of key advantages.
