Business Plan for the Establishment of a Multi-purpouse Fitness Center

The main aim of this thesis is to develop a business plan for establishing a multi-purpose fitness center which is subsequently evaluated by investment methods. At the beginning of this work the product itself and the ownership in the company are introduced. It is followed by the analysis of enviroment where customers are dealt with potencional and current competition and suppliers. For the supplier selection multi-criteria decision method by Saatys Method for calculating criteria weights and the method of linear utility function for each variant were applied. Next part focuses on marketing where we deal with marketing mix 4P which is followed by staffing of the entire center. In financial part opening balance sheet and cost incurred at the beginning of business are presented. In the next section two variants realistic and pessimistic are analysed. Each option is adjusted for projected revenue and costs. What follows is the turning point analysis. The last part of the study deals with the SWOT analysis of the project which is followed by enterprise investment project evaluation using static and dynamic methods of investment evaluation.
Analysis of selected fitness centers and customer satisfaction survey

The author applied marketing research methods in order to propose recommendations to improve quality of services and increase customer satisfaction of surveyed fitness centers in Prague. The first part of this thesis is devoted to describing and analyzing the fitness industry in Europe and the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the methodological part explains in detail the chosen methodology of research and customer satisfaction survey, along with the description of the structure of the questionnaire. The practical part presents surveyed fitness centers, along with the marketing research, whose results are analyzed in detail and subsequently included in the SWOT analysis. At the end of this thesis suggestions and recommendations will be work out based on the results of the research project for possible improvements that can fitness centers take into account and incorporate them into their current business strategy.
Business plan of fitness center

The aim of this thesis is to develop a business plan of fitness center with subsequent evaluation of the investment. First, the product itself and the ownership structure is introduced and than followed by an analysis of the market, customer, competitor analysis and analysis of suppliers, in which multicriteria decision with the help of Saaty method and the method of linear utility fiction is used. This is followed by personnel and marketing plan including marketing mix and marketing budget. In the financial plan, there is the opening balance sheet, statement of cash flow, profit and loss account for the first year and the balance sheet after the first year of business. In this section, the break-even point is calculated. The evaluation of the project is preceded by risk analysis. The sensitivity criteria of income is examined for the operation of two, or four factors. For the investment evaluation are used static and dynamic methods of evaluation. Under certain conditions, the project is profitable.

Návrh marketingové strategie pro fitness centrum Studio Be Free

The Bachelor thesis is aim at a suggestion of marketing strategy for Studio Be Free, which is a fitness centre in Uherský Brod. This suggestion of new marketing strategy should maintain to higher amount of new customers, increase a revenues and fixing your position at market. The theoretical part contains theoretical interpretation in general and important marketing definitions, which are applied in the practical part. In first part of the practical part are listed the basic information of the fitness centre and introduction of a current marketing strategy. PESTE, Porter's five forces and SWOT analysis are used to analyze the current stage of fitness centre. There are implementation of a segmentation process and a marketing mix, too. In the last part of the bachelor thesis is aim to concrete suggestions of marketing strategy, which should be increase the attendance in the fitness centre.

The thesis evaluates the strategy and is capped by improvement suggestions and S.W.O.T. analysis. Help fitness club offers aerobic and indoor cycling lessons and fitness room and its strategy is well adjusted.

Práce vymezuje pojmy týkající se kvality služeb, role zákazníka, popisuje Ishikawův diagram, přibližuje přístup PDCA, popisuje konkrétní fitcentrum a služby, které jsou v něm nabízeny. Práce se zabývá kvalitou poskytovaných služeb v tomto fitcentru. Na základě průzkumu mínění zákazníků hodnotí kvalitu služeb. Spokojenost zákazníků je vyjádřena procentuelně. Na základě odpovědí respondentů jsou navrženy možná zlepšení ve fitcentru.
