The influence of eccentricity upon the radial forces in an induction motor
Formánek, Jakub ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to get familiar with the influence of radial forces in the induction machine. Induction motor is one of the most commonly used and most extended type of machine, therefore it is useful to detect the intensity of theese forces and their influence at operation of the machine. In this work ,radial forces are computed by the software simulation in ANSYS Maxwell. Models are created with help of module Rmxprt and finite elements method. These models are based on real induction motors with predefined size of eccentricity. In the final part we perform a measurement of deviations on the real machine using vibrometer.
Design of the electric locomotive drive
Dočekal, Martin ; Klíma, Bohumil (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The focus of the work is the calculation and design of battery-powered drive of locomotive, operating in the sub-siding mode, ie when the locomotive is moving on the track section without the overhead line. The proposed battery groups to ensure the drive train will be installed directly into the locomotive engine room. In the theoretical part of the work there has been done the analysis of the electrical locomotives and electrical unit, which nowadays are used in the Czech Republic in driving of voltage controller with the integrated circuit. Then, in the chapter there is a brief description modern locomotives frequency convertor’s and rectifier’s function. The practical part of the work contains the necessary force and energy calculation for train moving on the determined rails. On the base of the received data, the design of battery groups has been done. These battery groups will work as an independent traction which insures the moving of the train on the determined rails. In the work the design, which consists of STEP-UP and STEP-DOWN convertors, has also been done. The power model and model management were created in Matlab Simulink programme. Data and graphs exported from the Matlab Simulink programm are determined for verifying convertor’s function, which can be found in a separate chapter. In addition to the proposal of the battery drive is at work also has been calculated loss of traction rectifier during normal operation of the locomotive, ie outside siding mode. For this calculation, in the conclusion is listed the theory of calculation of the losses incipient in the transistor and freewheeling diode of rectifier. According to the theory own calculation is performed. Subsequently the liquid cooler calculation of the rectifier is calculated.
Simulation models of thermal fields in electric machine
Chlup, Jaroslav ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This project is dealing with simulation´s posibilities of thermal fields in electric machines. A finite element method is the final element technique. Analysis routine Ansys has worked on this platform, in which was been simulated intermittent periodic duty of asynchronous motor.
The new modelling facilities at parametric CAD programme
Sedláčková, Petra ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Kuchyňková, Hana (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes Autodesk Inventor Professional 2008 and Ansys Workbench. The main aim is familiarization with user interface and working routine in these programs and their cooperation. In part about Autodesk Inventor there is summarized the advantage of parametric modeling against traditional techniques. Also there is described Inventor studio, in which is created an animation of model created in Autodesk Inventor. In the concrete it is animation of model of one phase asynchronous motor with outer rotor. In Ansys Workbench 11.0 there is created transient thermal analysis of one phase asynchronous motor. The aim of this analysis is to try the work in Ansys Workbench from importation of model, from external CAD system, to evaluation of results.
Creation and analysis of electrical machines parametric models at CAD systems.
Chmelíček, Petr ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Kuchyňková, Hana (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to demonstrate facilities of computer aided design on practical tasks. First part contains description of Autodesk Inventor, which is one of the most important modern parametric CAD systems. There is described the basics of modeling, drawing creating and analysis of design. Second part is oriented on demonstration of capabilities of Ansys Workbench, which is important system for solution of engineering problems by the finite element method. Also there is description of user interface of Ansys, analysis of electromagnetic field in asynchronous motor and description of one phase asynchronous motor. Task of last part is to create animated presentation of asynchronous motor with outer rotor in Inventor studio.
Diagnosis of mechanical vibrations in asynchronous motor origin
Dostál, Martin ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Every machine needs to be maintained and controlled, if may work reliably during they service life. Big part of service life of expensive machines are those machines in operation. Vibration diagnostics is type of analysis, that doesn’t need removal of rotation machinery. The vibration, that are created by running machinery, are used as source of information about mode of operation. This master’s thesis contains theoretical analysis of vibration diagnostics and vibration measurements of a particular machine. This thesis contains 3D models of bearings and rotor asynchronous machine, which are created by software Autodesk Inventor 2014. Bearings vibration analysis of this models is performed by software Ansys Workbench.
Iverter for three-phase motor
Mikuška, Martin ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis goes into design of particular circuits for three phase inverter. Inverter’s control is ensured by digital signal controller MC56F8013 with his program. Principle of control is suggested for individual motors. Inverter design considerate universal use and capability for any three phase motor. Particular blocks are compatible each other.
Structural analysis of part of electrical machine
Fodor, Viktor ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis discusses the optical diagnostics of electrical motor parts using a 3D scanner. It describes the construction of electrical induction motors, their heat losses, cooling and refrigeration systems that may be used by such motors. It approaches the possibilities of heat recording and briefly explains the 3D scanner’s principal. It also introduces the simulation program ANSYS which uses the finite element method. This thesis shows the post processing of the digitalized object and the simulations and compares the simulation and measurement results. The final part is devoted to the analysis of the obtained results.
Frequency inverter for small induction machine
Pavlík, Ondřej ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to continue in prototype realization and a final proposition of three-phase frequency transformer pilot projected in scope of my bachelor work. This transformer is outlined for a small unsynchronized engine to 100 watt output and is designed to supply the fan motor. This suggestion was optimalized from the standpoint of bargain low price and technical feasibility. Powerful part of transformer is solved with help of circuit FSB50450 which is fed from compact source MYRRA 47155. Steering system is guaranteed with circuit MC3PHAC. This device is possible to use in less demanding applications where it was resisted by high expensive price of common frequency transformers.
Calculation and measurement of induction motor parameters
Nekovář, Martin ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The theme of this master´s thesis is calculation and measurement of the parameters of induction motor. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first and the second part describes the general construction and operating principle of asynchronous motors. The construction includes a description of each part of induction motor, which consists of stator and rotor. The thesis deals with three-phase symmetrical and asymmetric single-phase motors. Principle of operation with using the rotating magnetic field, which is circular at three-phase motors, single phase motors have field elliptical shape. The next part contains the motor replacement scheme. The fourth part contains the calculation of motor´s parameters through the formulas. In this part the procedures for obtaining parameters of the replacement scheme of induction motor are defined. The process of calculating the parameters of the motor replacement scheme of threephase asynchronous motor is created according to given documentation is the next part for the certain type. The next content of the thesis describe finite element method, simulation and measurement of asynchronous motors to get of parameters from no-load and short-circuit test. The comparison of the results from measurement, analytical calculation and from simulation is given in the last chapter.
