Rehabilitation treatment at the spinal unit. Theoretical basis and practical experience
Punčochářová, Lenka ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Špaňhelová, Šárka (referee)
After spinal cord injury occur a lot of complication, with resulting from neurological picture. These can be central, peripheral or mix paresis in some cases even plegie. Often an autonomic nervous system can be demaged, causing complication practice in nearly all body systems. Rehabilitation attend belongs to basic care of paretic patients and is closely connected with basic with basic nursing methods from which the physiotherapy of these patients arise. This survey gives a summary of procedures and methods of physiotherapy , which help the patient to prevent and better respond to the complication treatment e.g. on respiratory and movement apparatus. Complex physiotherapeutic treatment concentrates mainly on prevention of complications. The physiotherapist must anticipate formation of complications and adapt the comlexity of the treatment. Inductive reasoning of 10-12 year old children in mathematical environment
Herman, Jan ; Novotná, Jarmila (advisor) ; Hošpesová, Alena (referee) ; Rendl, Miroslav (referee)
Inductive reasoning of 10-12 year old children in mathematical environment Formation of inductive inference is a complex process influenced by a number of diverse phenomena, whose study is at present moving to the spotlight of the community of psychologists. So far, conclusions of researches in this domain have been used in mathematical environment only very rarely, this despite the fact that inductive reasoning is crucial in many operations which are perceived as essential in development of mathematical reasoning. In my thesis I summarized conclusions of the relevant research, mostly in the domain of psychology, and put them in context of other research in this field. I dissected phenomena described by other authors, then applied their consequences in mathematical environment and finally designed and carried out two experiments. The aim of the first was to explore the genesis of inductive inference in natural environment, with the focus on the conditions of its genesis. The aim of the other experiment was exploration of genesis of inductive inference in a stimulating environment, with the focus on the quantity of experience prerequisite for formation of inductive inference and on the relation between the quantity of the experience and confidence in the consequent inference. The conclusions of the...

The Impact of the Crisis on Sino-US Trade
Krňoulová, Aneta ; Bolotov, Ilya (advisor) ; Čajka, Radek (referee)

Its aim is to show how the financial crisis which was created as a local crisis at the mortgage market in the United States, affected Sino-US economic cooperation, foreign direct investment flows, trade in goods and services. The first chapter focuses on the United States and describes the formation of the financial crisis, as well as their current position in the world economy, their foreign trade and international investment position. The second chapter is dedicated to the People's Republic of China from its foundation in 1949, through the partial liberalization, up to the current economic situation. It describes the development based on the inflow of foreign direct investment and export of goods. The third chapter describes the mutual trade cooperation between the USA and China, the commodity structure of their exports and imports, the balance of services and foreign direct investment flows. The fourth and final chapter of this thesis is devoted to an overall assessment of the economic impact of the crisis on their close cooperation, and also to prediction of the future development in the next five years.

The Wine Market in the Czech Republic and the Politics of Wine
Vlašicová, Eliška ; Tomšík, Karel (advisor) ; Malý, Michal (referee)
The dissertation thesis is focusing on the wine market in the Czech Republic. The aim is to identify weaknesses in the wine sector in order to formulate recommendations for improving a current situation in the sector. The Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union and the Common Market Organisation for Wine was presented in the theoretical part of the thesis, where also theoretical aspects of a market including supply and demand were described, as well as an agri-food market and its specifics, wine commodity chain, determinants of demand, supply and prices of wine. In the following chapters an analysis of the wine market, especially with emphasis on the production potential of vineyards in the Czech Republic was created, and demand, supply and price of wine including a price transmission in the commodity chain of wine were modelled based on a regression analysis. The significant influence on demand of wine have had previous values of wine consumption and wine prices, substitutes consumptions (prices of substitutes were not a significant factors), household income and salary, a quality of the wine and awards in international competitions. Significant factors of the side of supply including the price of wine grapes, the price of wine, vineyard area, production of wine grapes, some aspects of weather and certain subsidies. A climate change, which is in progress, may result to the expansion of viticulture and winemaking in the Czech Republic and also to a change of varieties in vineyards. Demand has in the commodity chain of wine greater impact than the supply. It can have a negative effect on growers or winemakers. Planting of vines is not sufficient to maintain current levels of a production potential of vineyards in the Czech Republic. The ideal amount of annual planting vines should be about 655 ha. A related issue is financing a vineyards renewal, which is costly. Based on a financial analysis of small and medium-sized wine companies, it was found that these businesses cannot afford the renewal of vineyards from its own resources and will require grant assistance of the state, eventually EU.

Utilization of waste material from the glass-sand production
Zach, Jaroslav ; Přikryl, Richard (advisor) ; Vavro, Martin (referee)
The presented diploma thesis is focused on possible use of waste from glass and foundry sands deposits of Provodín. The mineralogical and chemical composition, mechanical and physical properties, the specific surface area and parameters of pore area were studied. X-ray analysis proved the presence of kaolinite, illite, quartz and accessory microclin. Silicate analysis shows dominant presence of SiO2 80.52%, then Al2O3 11.36% and K2O 2.14%. This diploma thesis is focused on a possible use of studied material at three main areas: the potential use as a clay component in a raw material mixture for making of hydraulic lime, the use as a kaolinite absorbent and the potential use as a geotechnical material. The studied material was experimentally mixed with limestone in a ratio of 10; 15; 20 a 25 wt %. This mixture was subsequently burnt in the temperature range from 850 to 1,200řC. New phases were identified by an X-ray diffraction analysis. The results prove the presence of characteristic phases for hydraulic limes (C2S, C3A, C4AF). The formation of new phases depend on the temperature. The most of them are formed at a temperature of 1050řC and higher. For the characterization of a specific surface area and parameters of pore areas there were used simple studied material and thermally modified samples...

Creating of Palestinian state
Vítková, Jana ; Havlová, Radka (advisor) ; Novotná, Yvona (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creating of statehood under international law of one of the current controversial entities striving for statehood - Palestine. The theoretical part is based on Montevideo Convention of 1933 which defines the characteristics of the state as a subject of international law, it focuses also on the self-determination right of nations, the creation and recognition of the state with its consequences. Individual criteria of statehood such as population, territory, government and capacity to act in international relations are analysed in the empirical part and then applied to the example of Palestine. The aim is to evaluate whether the criteria of statehood set in the theoretical part are fulfilled or what prevents them from fulfillment. The thesis tries to focus its analysis on the creating of statehood characteristics especially in historical context. The third chapter is devoted to the role of major international players in shaping of Palestinian statehood characteristics and their current attitudes to the question of Palestine. The work contributes to the clarification and better understanding of the issue of Palestinian statehood and offers a comprehensive view of its piecemeal forming and development.
