This thesis deals with the design of the pilot Business Intelligence solution for e-commerce platform Shopio. The first part describes the theoretical concepts of Business Intelligence and e-commerce focused on possible approaches to performance measurement of electronic commerce. Furthermore there is a comparison of analytical tools for measuring performance of e-shops which are available on the Czech market. The second part of the thesis first describes the e-commerce platform and the current status of the reporting module. Then the requirement analysis is conducted for the purpose of identifying the current company client's needs and requirements. The new Business Intelligence solution is designed based on the identified requirements described in the previous chapters. This solution is then tested and verified with the use of real e-shop data. The main purpose of this thesis is to refine the current status of the reports and provide a better tool to measure the e-shop performance for the e-shop owners.

The Image of the Artist in Czech Feature Films after 1948
Šlingerová, Alena ; Klimeš, Ivan (advisor) ; Přádná, Stanislava (referee)
After the Czechoslovak coup d'état of 1948, the cultural politics of the Communist Party became the only power that should organize, regulate and evaluate cultural affairs. This brouht radical changes of the status of artists. That artists who belonged to the rank of intellectuals had to follow needs of the new kind of society. They accepted orders from above and their activity was strictly controlled. Proletarian amateurs and folk art were officially encouraged. The examples of the progressive art were found in the USSR and also among personalities from the history of the national culture. Cinematography, to which was placed a requirement of topicality, also presented the new image of the artist. The most noticeable results were reached in biografical films about our classics and films exposing folklore and cultural life of the working class. The integration of an intellectual artist into the new society became a pivotal theme in movies Písnička za groš and Nezlob, Kristino. As episodic characters, we can find also completely negative types of artists - enemies of that new society. This spectrum corresponds to a general typology of people that was used in art, journalism and public speech in general: mature, confused and totally inadaptable (designed to be displaced). Exeptional cases of...

Nursing perioperative care on the gynekological section.
WOLFOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor thesis focuses on nursing care before, during and after a gynaecological surgery. Gynaecological surgeries are divided into small and big. Small gynaecological surgeries require only one surgeon and the hospitalization of the patient is shorter than 24 hours. Big surgeries require more surgeons, the patient is under anaesthesia for a longer time and the hospitalization is longer than 24 hours. In this bachelor thesis, we focused on perioperative care in women after a big gynaecological surgery. Care during the preoperative period is an integral part of the work of a birth assistant, as gynaecology is largely a surgical specialisation. With advancing technical progress and development of new surgical methods, various types of surgeries appear with specific requirements for nursing care. Effective perioperative care is important for trouble-free convalescence of women after surgeries. Perioperative care includes both nursing procedures and informing the patient about the hospitalization and care course. Perioperative care is very demanding for the woman herself and for the whole team participating in the care. Interaction of all the medical staff is necessary in perioperative care to provide specialised care according to the standards. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine the needs of patients that are affected in the highest extent during perioperative period. The research focused on the way women perceive perioperative period and the approach of health care professionals and the extent these items meet their expectation. The research was performed at a gynaecology-obstetrics department of a hospital, using qualitative assessment in deep interviews. The interviews included 13 open questions. The research group consisted of 8 women after a big gynaecological surgery. The participation in the interview was voluntary. The results of this research were carefully transcribed and analysed using the "pen-paper" method. These results were divided into four categories and further subcategories.

Diagnostics for Robust Regression: Linear Versus Nonlinear Model
Kalina, Jan
Robust statistical methods represent important tools for estimating parameters in linear as well as nonlinear econometric models. In contrary to the least squares, they do not suffer from vulnerability to the presence of outlying measurements in the data. Nevertheless, they need to be accompanied by diagnostic tools for verifying their assumptions. In this paper, we propose the asymptotic Goldfeld-Quandt test for the regression median. It allows to formulate a natural procedure for models with heteroscedastic disturbances, which is again based on the regression median. Further, we pay attention to nonlinear regression model. We focus on the nonlinear least weighted squares estimator, which is one of recently proposed robust estimators of parameters in a nonlinear regression. We study residuals of the estimator and use a numerical simulation to reveal that they can be severely heteroscedastic also for data generated from a model with homoscedastic disturbances. Thus, we give a warning that standard residuals of the robust nonlinear estimator may produce misleading results if used for the standard diagnostic tools

A novel nanospray liquid junction interface for versatile CE-MS
Křenková, Jana ; Haselberg, R. ; Somsen, G. W. ; Foret, František
In this work we present a new polyimide-based liquid junction nanospray interface, combining the advantages of sheath flow and sheathless designs. The liquid junction interface was prepared as a hybrid microfabricated plastic liquid junction sprayer allowing to perform analysis in standard (30-100 micro m ID) separation capillaries. The interface incorporates a self-aligning port for coupling of the separation capillary as well as ports for automated flushing of both the liquid junction and the separation capillary. The interface permits performing CE both with and without electroosmotic flow. The use of large bore capillaries allows injection and preconcentration of larger sample volumes, favoring detection sensitivity. Different compositions of the spray liquid and BGE can be used when needed.
