HYDROGEN ABSORPTION IN A-Co30Fe55B15
Čermák, Jiří ; Král, Lubomír ; Roupcová, Pavla
Hydrogen solved in amorphous alloys (AAs) influences their magnetic characteristics. AAs are also perspective\nas additives that can improve hydrogen storage kinetic in certain types of ball-milled hydrogen storage\nmaterials (HSMs). Therefore, knowledge of hydrogen solubility and hydrogen sorption kinetics in AAs are of a\ngreat importance for aimed design both AAs with optimal magnetic parameters and HSMs with desired sorption\ncharacteristics. In the present paper, amorphous alloy Co30Fe55B15 (an example of the type a-TM1xTM2y Bz ;\nTM - transition metal) was investigated. Hydrogen concentration c H was measured by Sieverts method in\ntemperature interval from T = 150 °C to T = 350 °C under hydrogen pressure p up to 6 MPa. It was found that\nc H was an increasing function of p and its maximum value was typically 0.5 wt.% H2 at 350 °C and 6 MPa.\nHowever, when the alloy was preliminary hydrogen charged (PHC), the pressure dependence of total c Htot in\nthe first absorption cycle(s) is non-monotonous in dependence on PHC conditions. For the sake of comparison,\nthe same absorption characteristics were measured also in Mg2Ni intermetallic that is a common constituent\nin Mg-based HSMs. Comparing Co30Fe55B15 and Mg2Ni, it was concluded that Co30Fe55B15 shows lower\nhydrogen solubility, but much better absorption kinetics.

Diversity in the labor market
Gaydoshikova, Ekaterina ; Dvořák, Marek (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the issue of diversity of the labor market in the Czech Republic on the example of specific organizations, evaluate the implementation of the concept of diversity in the workplace on the basis of selected factors. When analyzing diversity is an emphasis on primary and secondary characters of diversity: age, gender, ethnicity, mental and physical abilities, marital status, religion, work experience. The work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines concepts: diversity, equal opportunities, primary and secondary characters of diversity, acceptance of the importance of diversity as a value. The practical part deals with the implementation of diversity into practice on the basis of the analytical methods (analysis: workforce, documents and research positions) and draft incorporation into relevant strategic processes of the organization.

DCTOOL-A3
Bakule, Lubomír ; Papík, Martin ; Rehák, Branislav
DCTOOL-A3 is a documentation of Matlab routines developed for the design of decentralized control of large scale complex systems. The current beta version covers three areas as follows:\nReport 4.1 deals with the event-triggered control design for unstructured uncertain systems. Both non-quantized and quantized feedback is analyzed. The results are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Logarithmic quantizer is used. Numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the presented results.\nReport 4.2 presents a new decentralized overlapping wireless control design with a switched communication protocol. The method is applied by simulations on the 20-story building structure including the test of robustness of the methods against sensor failures and network node dropouts of a digital network.\nReport 4.3 presents the construction of a new decentralized wireless controller and a set of heuristic algorithms for evaluation of packet dropouts, sensor faults and actuator faults. The digital network operates at the standard frequency used in well-known widely-used industrial protocols. The results are tested at the Benchmark model decomposed into two disjoint substructures. The results are published. Thus, the details are omitted here.

Using long-haul optical fiber links for phase coherent transfers of stable optical frequencies has been developed by metrological laboratories for at least a decade. Present boom of optical fiber sensors puts a demand on transferring this technology from laboratories to industrial practice. A remote calibration of fiber Bragg grating tensometers can be an example. In our contribution we present a 306 km long fiber link between laboratories of ISI in Brno and CESNET in Prague. The line uses a telecom fiber with a dedicated DWDM window at 1540-1546 nm. The setup implements a phase coherent transfer of a laser standard working with 1540.5nm wavelength and a bi-directional transfer of 1PPS timestamps from radiofrequency standards at the both ends of the line. A long-term measurement of transport delay fluctuations and relative stability of the line are discussed.

Plant optical signals can serve as important source of information about biochemical and physiological processes in plants. These signals are influenced by compounds synthesized by plants during primary or secondary metabolism and thus, can also serve as their qualitative and quantitative indicators. Light reaching plant surface (leaf or fruit) can undergo three main pathways- it can be (i) reflected, (ii) absorbed or it can (iii) transmit through plant material. The probability of these three processes depends on particular wavelength of incident irradiation and on the morphological characteristics of plant tissues themselves. As such, plant contains various spectrum of photosynthetic pigments and fluorescent compounds which can either reflect, absorb or pass incident irradiation through at specific wavelengths. Biophysical techniques working with these optical properties of plant pigments and/or other compounds have become universal and common tool in basic and applied research. To quote some example, chlorophyll fluorescence imaging, UV induced fluorescence or spectroscopic techniques are on the top of interest thanks to its non-invasive nature, allowing maintain the integrity of measured cells or the whole plant constituents. The main aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive study on the possibility of non-invasive monitoring of phenolic compounds in the leaves and fruits.

Adolescent overweight and obesity
JINDROVÁ, Kateřina
My bachelor´s thesis deal with obesity of adolescents and problems with overweight. These problems are described in details, and after that divided into specific parts. The main goal of my bachelor´s thesis is to chart problems with obesity and overweight in age group from 15 to 18 (adolescents) and primary describe their eating habits and physical activity. Theoretical part is focused on occurrence of overweight and obesity in the Czech Republic and in the world, causes of its origin, risk factors, classification and diagnosis, types, therapy and prevention. This bachelor´s work dealing with rational diet, describing basic principles of healthy catering and explaining right or wrong foodstuffs. I point mainly on prevention of overweight and obesity by healthy eating and physical activity. Methodical part is processed thanks to quantitative research. Data were gained by questionnaires, which were given to high school students (1st - 3rd grade). The research group contains 150 respondents from different schools in České Budějovice and close neighborhood. Final results are written down primary in graphs with commentary and data charts. In case of right use of qualitative research, there were determined two hypotheses. First hypothesis: Overweight and obesity is more occurred at adolescents with wrong eating habits. Second hypothesis: Overweight and obesity is more occurred at adolescents with low physical activity. For developing exploratory part, there was used quantitative research, which was provided by questionnaires given to students of age from 15 to 18. Entire data were processed by the use of program Microsoft Excel, and its calculations and functions. The answers of respondents were registered into database, and, by using specific excel functions, I was able to report data in determined categories. The research was mainly concentrated on physical activity and eating habits. Final results are put into well-arranged graphs, which are always enriched by comments, eventually completed by data tables, and, subsequently, statistically evaluated. In results, there might be seen two main differences between adolescents with standard weight and adolescents with overweight or obesity problems. One of those is irregularity in eating and wrong eating habits; big difference is also proved in physical activity. Adolescents with obesity or overweight have often irregular food intake, they drink a lot of high caloric beverages such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta etc., deficient income of fruit, vegetables, legumes, fish, or low physical activity. Only few of obese adolescents is different, because their problem is caused genetically. Adolescents with standard weight eat more regularly, but there are also some special cases, who have similarly wrong eating habits as obese people; however, all of these adolescents have one typical quality regular physical activity. Both hypotheses are confirmed. The results show that obesity is mainly caused by genetic predispositions, but these factors can be positively affected by periodic physical activity or appropriate eating habits. At the end of the thesis, it should be mentioned that it is necessary to be focused on right eating habits and regular physical from the very young age, when the basic customs and habits are assumed. That should include parents' action around their children, as they are usually the first example and they have the biggest influence. It is important to develop knowledge about all kinds of prevention, which are in most cases major in defending against formation of overweight and obesity.

THE DRAMATICAL SCRIPT AS A NECESSARY BASIS FOR SPACIAL REALIZATOIN
Tretiag, Štěpán ; KORČÁK, Jakub (advisor) ; HRBEK, Daniel (referee)
Using the concrete examples of my practical bachelor work my intent is to retrospectively describe and reflect on our scenic realization of the play Missing by south-African author Reza de Wet. The essence of a modern dramatic direction is to perceive the script of a play as a model which becomes a basis for its interpretation and the subsequent staging of the play. It is the process from the initial interpretation to final scenic realization I wish to focus on in my work.In the first part I will be dealing with creation of a physical space, that being stage design. I will try to capture what lead us to its final shape and how the basis for that can be found in the script of the play as well as the potential capability of the physical space to become a dramatic space. Its ability to create a platform for the actors to proceed from and how can it provoke them into acting, in particular. In the second part I will be dealing with the dramatic space, ergo the spacial expression of relationships and themes. I will proceed again retrospectively, focusing on how we managed to achieve the stage image which is functioning as a materialized metaphor. I will focus mostly on non-verbal actions, but with regard to the fact, that dramatical script is the basis for our realization of the play.

Intraday trades
BOHINSKÝ, Petr
This thesis is focused on comparison of intraday and short term trades profitability using technical analyses by application the method of crossing moving averages between January 1st 2014 and August 1st 2016. Trading takes place on the basis of buying and selling signals of a generated technical indicator in the investment program Alapri and XTB. The traded indexes are DAX 30, S§P 100 and commodities gold and oil. The theoretical part of this work is devoted to the financial market, commodity market, describes intraday and positional trader and advantages as well as disadvantages of these markets. It also deals with technical analyses and explains basic investment terms. Practical part of the work is devoted to a description of the results modeled on real historical data. It is possible to determine on the base of back-tested results that the method of crossing moving average with the value of the instrument is better for short-term trades; in modeled example in daily graph than for intraday trades modeled in four-hour graph. Furthermore when modeling there was found that it is more profitable to buy instruments and let them be valorized by the financial market under given conditions. It means to buy them at the beginning of the investment period and sell at the end of this period without any buying and selling operations.
