The unemployment rate in Písek district in the years 2004 – 2014 and the role of the Labou Office

This diploma thesis deals with unemployment in Písek district in 2004 - 2014. The analysis of unemployment is divided into individual categories - age, sex, education, and others. At the same time, analyzes of selected categories of job seekers in the Czech Republic and South Region. Based on the individual analysis is the comparison of the unemployment situation in the various categories. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the instruments of active employment policies that enhance employability of job seekers in the labor market. In conclusion, the thesis are proposed recommendations that could streamline processes within the Labour Office.

Psychological and social aspects of unemployment

This diploma thesis is aimed at the topic of unemployment, mainly at its psychological and social aspects. In the theoretical part basic terms are defined which are closely related to unemployment. These are primarily: the definition of unemployment, the development and the structure of unemployment, social and psychological consequences of unemployment, reference to employment policy and the description of the European Social Fund programmes. The practical part of my thesis includes the questionnaire survey among the unemployed registered at the Labour Office Znojmo. Moreover, it presents structured interviews with the employees of the Znojmo Penitentiary, Probation and Mediation service Znojmo and The Znojmo Shelter who are in contact with job seekers affected by any of the social impacts of unemployment.

Analysis of labour market in selected region

My thesis describes the analysis of the Labor Market in Liberec Region. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of labour market, the unemployment and the state employment policy. Second part of my thesis contains my own analysis which describes the basic characteristic of Liberec Region and also it contains my own research of employment and unemployment. Within the framework of employment analysis is analyzed the total employment, structure of employees in light of age, education and sphere. Furthermore, there are analyzed the significant employers in Liberec Region. The employment is analyzed based on the unemployment indicator, the proportion of the unemployed, the total number of job seekers and total number of job vacancy. The unemployment rate indicator is applied as prognosis for year 2015. This thesis also contains the characteristic of selected problematic groups of people in Labor Market and also problematic areas in Liberec Region. The final part of my thesis contains the description of the state active employment policy and it contains suggested potential solutions to improve the situation in the Labor Market in Liberec Region.

Development and causes of unemployment in the selected region

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of unemployment in the district of Kolin between the years 2004 and 2014, and to determine the reasons for failure of employee recruitment organized by the Labor Office of the Czech Republic in Kolin and propose solutions that could lead to a reduction in unemployment in this district.

Human capital and level of the education are essential components of the enterprise competitiveness and economic development. The positive perception is very important for the development of human capital. Contemporary society requires to companies care about their employees and their further education. These investments should return in the form of higher motivation, better productivity, increased use of knowledges and greater willingness to participate in innovations. Education helps reduce social differences, prevent unemployment and other negative things. The thesis deals with the issue of the knowledge economy, human resource and the impact of the education on unemployment. The first part is focused on theoretical knowledge which are knowledge economy, human resources, education system of the Czech Republic and labour market. The second part is focused on the analytical indicator of education. Indicators compares Czech Republic with other OECD countries in terms of unemployment and human resources. The conclusion of thesis is devoted to a summary and evaluation of the analytical part of the thesis.

This Thesis Economic Impacts of employment in the Karlovy Vary region is engaged in the development and current state of unemployment in the Karlovy Vary region in economic terms. The first theoretical part includes basic concepts of unemployment and employment policy. The second part describe only the unemployment rate but using the obtained empirical economic, demographic and other data and processing is looking for causes, context and consequences. Evaluates the status of the region in the Czech Republic, looking for potential opportunities the region, taking into account its historical development and current situation of their businesses with the requirements, structure and quality of secondary and tertiary education. While continually portrays long-term economic impacts of inadequate and haphazard approach republican institutions, municipalities and other entities for the practical development of employment in the Karlovy Vary region.

Legislation and implementation of distraint procedures in Czech Republic

The Masters thesis is titled Legislation and implementation of distraint procedures in Czech Republic. The theoretical part explains the concepts that relate to issues including specifics of a bailiffs office and the Czech Republics Chamber of Bailiffs. The process of distraint from the beginning until the seizure and termination is then fully depicted. Description of methods by which such distraints may be carried out, including the costs and fees of the bailiff are also covered. In the practical part are evaluated statistically the number ordered and completed foreclosures in the 2010-2015 period, including influences on her work immediately. The practical part of thesis contains statistically evaluated numbers of ordered and completed constraints during the years from 2010 to 2015, inlcuding influences that they may correlate with. Subsequently, an analysis of two homogeneous regions was carried in the sense that unemployment rate, criminal activity and social benefit payments are often at the beginning of the indebtedness and the consequent execution order. The practical part ends with an evaluated existing legislation, including its amendments and practical examples that are currently becoming a tradition.

Economic and social impacts of the development to employment in Usti region

This thesis Economic and social impacts of employment growth in the Ústí region will focus on the issue of unemployment, which is a problem affecting the life and character throughout the region. The thesis will consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the work will be focused to the characterization and description of the main terms associated with unemployment, the labor market or instruments of active and passive policy of unemployment reduction. In the practical part, attention will be paid to the characteristics of the Ústí region, focusing on economic, geographic or social terms. Further writes through the use of time series of employment and unemployment in the Ústí region. Also presented graphically, for example, the unemployment rate, unemployment in terms of education levels, unemployment on the basis of gender or whether they are more at risk of unemployment men or women. Inside the private research will be the prediction of graduates registered at labour offices in the Ústí region, which will be subsequently formulated the basic causes of this situation and will propose a solution that could help the graduates in the easier application at the labour market.

Statistical Analysis of the Unemployment Development in the Central Region and its Expected Tendencies

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the statistical analysis of proportion of the unemployed in the Central Region and its districts, the structure of the unemployed by gender, age and education with a focus on risk groups during the period of 2007-2015. Own elaboration includes an analysis of the results in the Central Region and the proportion of the unemployed is observed. Using elementary characteristics of time series and trend function the amount for the year 2016 will be predicted. The last part of thesis contains an evaluation of the results with recommendations of how to reduce unemployment in the region. Data were obtained mainly from the Czech Statistical Office and from Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

The following thesis addresses unemployment, focusing on its psychological and social effects. The first, theoretical, section describes the labour market and how it works, and then defines unemployment, including a discussion of its various types and methods of its measurement. The importance of social implications of unemployment is stressed, including the description of its various psychological and social effects. The thesis also explores the tools the government employs to eliminate unemployment. The second, empirical, section includes primary research conducted by surveys. Asserted hypotheses are evaluated using statistical analysis of collected data. The thesis conclusion presents the research outcomes and recommendations.
