Airconditioning for hospital facility

Bachelor´s thesis describes a design of a ventilation system for hospital facility. In this thesis first ground floor and basement designed and implemented. The system is proposed to meet hygienic, operational and functional requirements for indoor microclimate of clean spaces. The task of ventilation system is the transport of fresh air to interior, the covering of the heat looses during the winter and the covering of heat gains in the summer. The system is also designed for regulation of air humidity. Theory part of dissertation deals with clean spaces with specialization on medical facilities.
Air-Conditioning in the hospital pavilion

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and evaluate the air-conditioning system for the medical facility. The first and second above-ground floors are designed and designed to meet hygienic and operational conditions for medical facilities. The air-handling system provides fresh air into the interior, eliminating heat losses in the winter and heat gains in the summer.

Diploma thesis designs a barrier free new building of medical devices – policlinic (health center) with 14 medical workplaces. Object has three floors and basement. The building is covered by a vegetation flat roof. Building of policlinic is based on strip foundations and load-bearing walls are made from sand-lime blocks. Horizontal systém is created like reinforced concrete ceiling and in the same way internal staircase. The building is design at passive architecture – have compact form, thick layer of insulation and airtight cover. The main glass facade is oriented to the sout. There is used heat recovery air conditioning and heat pumping for heating in building. Health center satisfy currently legislation.
The multifunctional building in Brno Zidenice

Corner building is located in part of city Brno – Zidenice. Object is separate on two function parts – first one is the healthcare center with practitioner and specialist doctors offices, that part is situated in the first floor. Second part is the flats and the parking in the basement belong to those flats. Land lot has a shape of rectangle same as the building. Modul scheme of columns divides object into square parts. By gradually deleting these square parts created object into terraced apartment building. These terraces are pointed into the courtyard. Deleting one square part in first floor plan is made an atrium space accessible from waiting room of healthcare center. Terraces for each apartments in another floors are made by same way. Object makes private spaces for its users. Terraces are opened on east, north and west. Important and characteristic part of object is shape of fourth floor, where is wall bevelled inside. Point of this bevel is to make building optically smaller because of neighbouring buildings are lower than apartment house. In future we assume with increasing buildings. Next important part is irregularly arrangement of windows. Main function is to lighten room as much as possible, but even architectural expression of house. Irregular windows of different sizes are in some parts of house added with shiplap facade window system, which allows big format glass and ventilation. Behind these big windows is sliding patio doors.
Analysis of the Reimbursement System of Public Health Insurance in the Czech Republic

The Bachelor’s thesis describes the topic of public health insurance in the Czech Republic. In the analytical part of the work a theoretical knowledge is applied to a specific example of a hospital - Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno. Finally the current indicators, affecting reimbursement and the impact of possible changes in the context of the reform in health care system, are assessed.
Creation of Intercompany Directions in the Conditions of the Selected Health Facility

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of intercompany directions in Aeskulap spol. s r.o. It deals with the analysis of the current state of this health facility, its system, activity and especially with concept of intercompany directions related to accounting and tax obligations of the company. The output of this thesis is concept of directions, that follow valid legislation and unit processes of employees' activities according to company needs.

This bachelor's thesis describes the issues and characteristics of value added tax in relation to health care, which is one of the areas that, from the perspective of tax laws, raise a number of complex issues. The theoretical part contains a description of the principle of value added tax and the characteristics of the medical system. The practical part includes the analysis of the issue of VAT of a particular state health-care organization. The final part consists of the evaluation of the present situation, a suggestion for solution and the anticipated impact of potential changes related to tax reform.

Because of the occurrenceof medication errors and the consequent inability to achieve desired health outcomes, efforts are nowadays made to detect and minimize them. The aim of this study was to detect and analyze medication errors occurring during drug administration by nurses in a healthcare facility in South Bohemia. Methodology: This diploma thesis is part of a long-term observation-intervention project, which takes place in the years 2020-2023. Methods: This is an observational-interventional study. The data collection method was passive observation. The study included patients in surgical, internal medicine, and post-care departments within one of the four hospitals in the Czech Republic. Data collection took place over three consecutive days.
