Bottleneck Elimination in the Production of Electrical Devices
Horníková, Daniela ; Ratičák, Milan (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with eliminating of bottlenecks in a production of eletrical devices, focusing mainly on the production line. It analyzes the current situation and using value stream mapping for a selected product it identifies bottlenecks of the production process. Further it proposes remedial measures to improve current situation.
The Optimization Study of Production Processes
Medůsek, Milan ; Trtek, Martin (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis discusses the possibility of production process optimization within the company Česká zbrojovka, a.s. In the introduction part I have introduced the company, the subsidiaries, the manufacturing portfolio and economic indicators. The theoretical part deals with basis necessary for the practical part. In the latter, I have suggested solutions based on the initial analysis, mapping and current state analysis in order to optimize and improve the monitored production process. In the final part of the thesis I have focused on the evaluation of the benefits and conditions of the bare implementation.
OPTIMALIZATION OF LOGISTIC FLOWS IN THE ENTERPRISE
Dvořáček, Radim ; Linda, Bohdan (advisor)
The dissertation is concerned about, according to author still “live” problem of optimization of logistic flow, with scope to company environment. The aim is to find correct methodology for defined problem and to apply it to particular case study. Theoretical part begins with description and analysis of actual state of problematic of logistic flow optimization and listing the methods which are able to be applied to these problems. The three main groups – exact methods, heuristic methods and combined methods take part in. The analysis continues further with searching the methods, useful for application in production company environment. Vast focus is on layout design task, because once layout is created, except some minor changes, it lasts usually for some years and therefore it is necessary to consider it properly. Moreover, there is also difference between other characteristics of production, as production planning and machines / technologies upgrade and layout; the former are in a certain manner changeable and not stable, but the layout cannot be changed on for ex. weekly basis. Contribution to research is located at the end of theoretical part, which is newly modified methodology to be more suitable for practical application. Practical part begins with the description of particular case study, e.g. actual status of logistic system in enterprise. The processes described include purchasing management, production management and mainly layout design of production space. The application of suitable methods consists of group technology methods – already known method, plus newly modified method and their mutual comparison. In addition is included already known value stream mapping method. The result is recommendation for change in layout design, developed by integration of results, brought by group technology methods and value stream mapping method.
Mapinng and improving logistic flow in the firm ZEBR.
Kmeť, Lenka ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the project is to chart the course of logistics and information flows of the selected company, to eveluate the entire process and to find improvements. In the first part there is mentioned an introduction into methods of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping and throughput time calculations. In the next section the flow of values is mapped and the map of current state is created. Futhermore, the throughput time of selected parts is computed and the mounting diagram of measured products is assembled. On to these materials are founded the sources of wasting and solutions are suggested. Afterwards on the basis of the obtained data are given solutions eveulated in terms of economic indicators.
Process performance analysis
Vintrlík, Jan ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
Presented thesis entitled “Process performance analysis” deals with problems in identification of the causes of the increasing cost and declining quality of the products, their minimization or complete removal. Further analysis will address the cost of low quality, serving as a basis for possible recovery of the fleet. All material presented in this thesis were collected in the company of NEVOGA, s r.o. engaged in manufacturing parts for the construction industry.
Proposal for a Lean Manufacturing Operation in Selected Company
Bistrá, Vendula ; Veverková, jarmila (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the implementation of a lean component in the manufacturing process of First Brno Machinery Velká Bíteš, Ltd. With the help of lean componant Value Stream Mapping (VSM – value stream mapping) an analysis of the current status is determined that underlies the bottleneck analysis in the manufacturing process. Based on that analysis the optimal future state of the manufacturing process is designed which leads to a production efficiency. This thesis focuses on increasing customer value and reducing waste in manufacturing.
Value stream mapping simulation model
Zámečník, Lukáš ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis concerns about the topics of logistics, simulations, lean manufacturing and value stream mapping. The main goal of the practical part is to create a parameterizable simulation model of the logistics chain, which captures the material and information flow, including the flow of values. The simulation model is created in Plant Simulation software from Siemens PLM. The thesis also includes verification and validation of the simulation model and the design of a matrix of experiments, which is used for sensitivity analysis of the simulation model in the form of experiments. Finally, the experiments are evaluated in terms of pre-selected criteria and indicators.
Bottlenecks of Engineering
Zifčák, David ; Jedinečný,, Ivo (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focus on identification and elimination bottlenecks in processes of production engineering. The thesis analyzes current situation using value stream mapping, this method used to identification bottlenecks in processes and also helps with finding necessary corrective measures.
Termoplast injection process analysis
Stehlíček, Marian ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
This thesis analyses the termoplast injection process. The goal is to map the manufacturing process of thermoplastic injection used products for the building industry. All this starting on the input material up to the shipment. The further task is to identify critical points of the manufacturing process and propose steps leading to its´ stabilization. This analysis was accomplished in the Nevoga corporation Znojmo.
Measuring centre process optimization
Benda, Ondřej ; Hanžlík, Pavel (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
This master's thesis is engaged in optimisation processes of PUQ (as for Purchasing Quality) department, Robert Bosch České Budějovice. This department is responsible for input control of parts for manufacture as well as check of new parts including their documentation and documentation updates. By optimisation we understand selection of the best variant from group of possibilities.
