Network tester
Haško, Juraj ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with data network testing. The aim of the thesis is to design a methodology for the comprehensive measurement of network transmission parameters and design of the tester concept and realisation by helping to extend the existing JMeter program.
Two-chamber Tester for Cordless Drills
Kabátník, Václav ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and subsequent realization of a bicameral tester for cordless drills. The tester will contain with two chambers in which the device will be tested. Part of the solution is the description of the parameters of the tested devices and the design of the tester concept. In addition, the thesis deals with the design of a mechanical structure that will test the equipment in both chambers and then design and realization of the relevant electrical equipment including the electrical switchboard. The thesis describes the Mosaic development environment for development of the PLC program according to IEC 61131-3. In this environment, control software has been created, which is described in its chapter. At the end of this work are enclosed images confirming the implementation to the real system and its functionality
Construction of artificial ramp on the road simulator
Komenda, Lukáš ; Indruch, Jiří (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is deals with constructions of artificial ramps for the road simulator KOLOTEC, which is placed in the laboratories of the Institute of Machine Design. The first part is devoted to different kinds of road Simulator used in the transport industry. The second part describes the importance of measuring on road simulators and the simulator KOLOTEC. The last part deals with solutions and analysis of chosen mechanical constructions.
Cable harness tester
Valenta, Jakub ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This semestral paper deals with the issues of testing and requirements examinations for cables and cable harnesses. These terms are defined in the work and the difference in their meaning is described. The work also describes the characteristic features of cables and cable harnesses, explains their importance and focuses in more detail on the variable properties that may change over time or that are dependent on manufacturing errors. The principles and procedures of tests of these properties are covered in the work and are the essence of the subsequent practical part. In this part, the work deals with the design of the measuring circuit prototype for testing of the insulation resistance of cables and their desired continuity in bundles. This design is then physically implemented, the processes of designing and implementing are described in detail and finally its functionality is tested and presented to the reader.
Generating of the fault record for protection and fault indicator testing
Bažata, Petr ; Jinderle, Pavel (referee) ; Topolánek, David (advisor)
The thesis is focused on a presentation of a model creating which is followed by the simulation of running real network with using the compensatory elements to minimize the incurred failures. This thesis is divided into two thematic parts – the first theoretical one deals with the basis structuring of short-circuit faults and more detailed study of ineffective ground connection. Particularly this part attends to the problematic of a network description with extinguishing suppression. Using the compensation minimizes the impact of the failure state. A short-term fixing of a resistor improves the function of the ground-fault protection and helps to detect the outgoing section damaged by the defect. Furthermore the thesis indicates simulation programs, compares them and chooses the most suitable one for the next practical part. This is focused on a simulation of a real network run, together with elements for an effective defect-reduction or easier detection of ground connection. As a simulation of a ground short-circuit is the model in the end of the thesis modified on a network with an effective grounded bundle. Testing of the model correctness and creating a record of a model using the real ground protection settings is also one part of this thesis.
MODAS DataPoint binary and analog inputs tester
Beránek, Jakub ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
Main accomplishment of this master’s thesis is to make a module for verification of the function binary and analog inputs (analog inputs only for current loop between 0-20mA) on data logger MODAS DataPoint. Hardware testing device will be made on development kit STM32F3-Discovery from STMicroelecronics Company. Device generates testing signals for confirmation of the function MODAS DataPoint device. Testing device communicates with MODAS DataPoint device via Ethernet, communication between PC application and hardware of the testing device is realized by USB interface in DFU mode. Solution included PC application, where you can connect to the tester device and tested Modas DP device. Furtheremore, the test starts here and application inform user about during a test, processed measured data and generate output protocols.
Diagnostics of modern car control units
Slíž, Martin ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the design and implementation of an interface for communication with modern electronic control units of EDC group. The work is devoted to an introduction to the world of automotive diagnostics, analysis of communication protocols and rules for transmitting messages. The greater part is devoted to the analysis of the CAN bus belonging protocols. The outcome of this work is the design and implementation of a communication device for diagnostics of electronic control units of EDC group.
Axle assessment using the EUSAMA methodology
Vítek, Lukáš ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachaleor thesis deals with optimalization of axle assessment. The introduction is directed to description shock absorber, non-assembling diagnostics and dynamics of vehicles. The automotive suspension is meant to provide comfort and mainly safety for the passengers. Because shock absorber are stressed, it must be controled. The most important kind of non-assembling diagnostics for this thesis is EUSAMA methodology. All measurement are realized with resonant adhesive tester, which is named TriTec. This device is structural simpler, then other one.
Methods of testing printed circuit boards
Průša, Tomáš ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
ABSTRACT This work describes design of tester for motherboards that uses the PC's called CM-iTC and analysis of input / output pins. There are combinations of inputs / outputs for tested boards and modules focusing on possible errors and their specifications. They include proposals for solutions to detect these errors.
Adjustable crank mechanism for shock absorber testing rig.
Podhorský, Petr ; Číž, Petr (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bechelor thesis deals with redesing of the mechanical shock absorber tester, which is situated in laboratory of designed department. First part focuses on the principle of shock absorbers and division. Next is something about devices, which are used to testing the shock absorbers. Because these equipments are a wealth of species, work is focusing on the devices, which tests excluded shock absorber only. The next part describes a few variants reconstruction of referenced tester. After that is chosen variant, which is the most simple, economic and production simple. This variant is after that numerically checked. In the end is educt, which describe the tester redesign.
