Design of key performance metrics

This document deals with process approach and it´s use in measuring companies performance. It presents an overview of individual approaches, from traditional containing only financial indicators to modern ones using non-financial indicators and incorporating into the measurement the areas related to customers employees and more. The work also mentions the Quality Management System contained in ISO 9001: 2015 and it´s approach to performance measurement. The chapter about metrics covers performance measures, in particular key performance indicators, their purpose, properties and distribution. Here are also presented the procedures for their determination and the pitfalls to be taken into consideration in their selection and use. Next chapters are devoted to the compilation of a metric system of specific companies.

Quality of adult education in non-formal educational institutions

This thesis is focusing on the quality in adult education from the point of view of managers and clients of non-formal educational institutions. The aim of this thesis is to find out the conception quality in adult educations organisation from the point of view of managers and clients in non- formal educational institutions based on depth research with managers of non-formal educational institutions and clients of those institutions. Outcome of the research are going to be compared with existing quality management systems. In the theoretical part, the PEST analysis of the adult education in the Czech Republic is going to be created for a better understanding of trends and impacts in this area. After the analysis, there are going to be described quality management systems and the possibilities of their use. The main system that are going to be described are ISO norm, TQM, EFQM, CAF model, Rating of educational institutions and audit Qfor. Research is based on the depth semi-structured interviews with managers and clients while using design of the grounded theory. In the first part, there are going to be interviews with managers of adult-educational institutions. Interviews will be encrypted a finding repetitive concepts and categories. This Diploma thesis called "Quality management in selected company" explores the current state of the quality management system in a selected organization. It was Gerresheimer Horšovský Týn, spol. s. r. o. The company produces inhalers, insulin pens and other plastic products for medical industry. The term quality is currently being used more and more frequently. In order, for a company to be successful and to compete on the market, it is necessary to pay great attention to quality. The first part of this thesis is a review of literature. It is devoted to the definition of basic concepts of quality management. In the next part there is a description of the selected company and its established quality management system. Finally, after the detection of the current conditions and identifying deficiencies of the quality management system are at this Diploma thesis suggested recommendations that could lead to improvement of the current situation at the company.

Quality Management in the Selected Company

This diploma thesis "Quality Management in the Selected Company" is focused on the quality management system in an international company, which is located in České Budějovice. The aim of this thesis is to suggest changes and recommendations for achieving higher level in current applied quality management system. Based on results from analysis of the chosen QMS areas, the respective suggestions were proposed. Based on the information from theoretical review, internal document analysis, interviews with the high management representatives and data analysis, various changes were suggested. All with one goal: establishing, keeping and continuously improving the quality management system which helps to ensure a prosperous and effectively working organisation with a stable position in the market where the organisation is present.

Quality management in company

The thesis deals with the analysis of quality management system in a selected organization and with tasks assigned by the organization's quality manager. The company is Aspera, spol. s r.o., specifically its metal manufacturing centre Aspera Technology in České Budějovice. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is based on study of scientific literature and focuses on quality definition, history of quality management, quality management system principles and concepts and quality management tools, especially process flowchart, Pareto diagram and FMEA. The practical part describes the company, its manufacturing centre and its quality management system. The next part deals with the three assigned tasks. First, designated company processes are described and visualized in the form of flowcharts. Second, weak points and risks of these processes are analysed using FMEA and corrective actions are recommended. Third, the most significant internal defects are identified using Pareto chart and cost analysis. At the end of the thesis some suggestions for improvement are provided. The suggestions were observed during an internship in the company and should enhance the quality management system and help the overall operation of the company processes.

Quality Management in a Selected Organization

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of Quality management system in a selected organization with respect to the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 standard. The theoretical part is focused on quality, especially, on quality management systems, concepts of these systems and also directly on the industry standard IATF 16949:2016 and its requirements. The practical part deals with the quality management system directly in the company CB Plast CR s.r.o. At first, the characteristics of the company with subsequent analysis of the application of selected requirements of industry standard IATF16949:2016 is described. Also, the analysis of the selected area of the quality management system and survey focused on awareness of company employees of the implemented quality management system is a part of the practical part of the thesis. The current status of the quality management system in the company CB Plast CR s.r.o. with respect to the requirements of the industry standard and recommendations for ensuring higher efficiency of the implemented quality management system are shown at the end of the practical part of this thesis.

My diploma thesis is focused on quality management system according to ISO standards. The aim of my diploma thesis is to evaluate current quality management system in selected organization and to suggest steps needed for recertification according to ISO 9001:2015. The work is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. In theoretical part, there are defined basic terms such as: quality, history of quality, principles, concept of quality management, ISO standard 9001:2008 and ISO standard 9001:2015. In practical part, there is description of the organization and evaluation of current quality management system, that the organization already has certified according to ISO standard 9001:2008. The work is also dealing with the steps that are needed in order to recertify the organization according to ISO standard 9001:2015.

The purpose of this thesis is recommendations which are proposed to improve the current situation after analysis and identification of deficiencies the quality management system in the selected company. The terms quality and quality management system in the general sense are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. The information about quality management is based on the Czech and the English literature. The selected company and its system of quality management are presented in the practical part of this diploma thesis. All information for analysis is taken from the internal documents and from the consultations with a quality manager. This thesis illustrates some processes the quality management system which are applied in the company, namely the people, the infrastructure, the documented information, the process of purchase, the control of nonconforming outputs, the monitoring and measurement, the internal audit and the improvement. The changes suggested to improve individual processes of quality management are introduced after the evaluation of this analysis.

The theoretical part describes the general quality management and quality management in the construction company. In the practical part is created an inspection and test plan for construction of the family house Skalice.
