Stimulation of the Child with dandy-walker syndrome: Therasuit Method

1 ABSTRACT This diploma issue brings the new knowledge from the physiotherapeutical and special educational intervention like diagnostics and therapy by multiple disabeled child with Dandy-Walker syndrom. Therapeutical method which we deals with is called TheraSuit. One of the aims of this work is to find out which areas of the psychomotor development is primary focused on TheraSuit. We would like to know what is its advantage over the use of standard rehabilitation techniques in outpatient care. Research methods are semistructured interview with the mother of the respondent, observation, special educational and physiotherapeutic diagnostics and aplication of their techniques. Effectiveness of these remedial procedures we are verifying by standardized tests, kineziological analyzes, assesements of self-sufficiency and gross motors skills at the end of every rehabilitation. This research confirms efficiency of exercises with TheraSuit Method particurally in speed of locomotion development by our respondent. However it is not possible to neglect of outpatient treatment with the use of usual therapeutic process especially because of their easy application at home. Searching for Physical Presence in the Process of Creation

This work deals with the physical presence of the actor on the stage during the rehearsal process and the subsequent performance itself. It is divided into two parts, the first dealing with the physical presence. In this section we write about developing physical skills and improving physical fitness. In the second part, it deals with the presence of mental, concentration, rest, etc. Through examples of specific exercises, a procedure is outlined for finding body concentration and tension in the body. Examples of specific situations and practice practices relate to /Barunka and leaving/, which premiered on April 13, 2017 at the student theater Disk.
Effect of application of botulotoxin for change of gait in patients after brain damage with spastic dystonia

Title: Effect of application of botulotoxin for change of gait in patients after brain damage with spastic dystonia Abstract: The theme of this bachelor thesis is verifying possibilities of botulinum toxin influencing the gait stereotype of patients with spastic dystonia. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of research of relevant literature sources, based on which basic terms of the associated range of problems are briefly defined: muscle tone, spasticity, spastic dystonia, botulinum toxin and gait. Part of the theoretical summary also includes scales that describe muscle tone (Ashworth scale, Tardieu scale, Five-step clinical assessment by Gracies) and also tests evaluating gait stereotype (Tinetti Gait and Balance Examination, 10 Meter Walk Test, 2 Minute Walk Test, Timed Up and Go, Rivermead visual assessment of the gait). The practical part contains two case reports of patients suffering from spastic dystonia who were monitored during one cycle of the application of botulinum toxin. Degree and nature of spasticity of these patients were measured at equal intervals and then, using the selected tests, the gait stereotypes were compared at various stages of effect of botulinum toxin. The influence of skating frequency on muscle tone of musculus triceps surae

Title: The influence of skating frequency on muscle tone of musculus triceps surae. Objective: The aim of this master degree thesis is to determine whether and how much influence the frequency and intensity of isotonic load the muscle tone of musculus soleus during skating of a professional ice hockey player. The muscle tone of musculus soleus is the most objectively measured part of musculus triceps surae by myotonometer. Summary: The master degree thesis is divided into the theoretical part, the processed form of research that serves as a basis for investigation in the second, empirical part. Change in muscle tone of musculus soleus will be investigated by using myotonometer, which will follow after a full physiotherapy examination. Measurements will be performed on 10 subjects - professional ice hockey players who are fully manage the technique of skating on the ice, before load, after low frequency isotonic load and after high frequency isotonic load. Conclusion: The myotonometric measurements revealed that after low and high frequency isotonic load of skating on ice rink, the muscle tone of musculus soleus is the same or slightly lower than before load. Title: The effect of menstrual cycle phases on muscle tone Goals and methods: The aim of this thesis is to prove the effect of menstrual cycle phases and participating hormons on the viscoelastic properties of the sceletal calf muscle via the non-invasive myotonometer device. The experimental part of this thesis is a pilot study in which participated seven female probands aged inbetween 24 to 28. Each proband participated in four weekly tests. Only probands who had not used hormonal contraception for at least six months were selected. Results: The results of the tests are represented in graphs picturing parts of curves representing the force caused by the tip of the myotonometer. The muscle soleus tension is changing throughout the menstrual cycle but its impossible to eliminate other endogenous and exogenous factors. The measured relative values of muscle tension are different for each proband. The menstrual phase has the highest average value of muscle tension. Effect of exteroceptive stimulation on muscle tone after physical activity

Title: Effect of exteroceptive stimulation on muscle tone after physical activity Aims: The aim of this diploma thesis is to summarize theoretical findings regarding the muscle tonus, biomechanical characteristics of soft tissues and the influence of exteroceptive stimulation on muscle tonus. In practical part, the influence of exteroceptive stimulation on muscle tonus after anaerobic exercise was evaluated using the measuring instrument - myotometer. Methods: Diploma thesis was approached as pilot and was processed at FTVS-UK in the form of analytical-comparative study on the group of six probands who experienced endurance Wingate test and then they underwent the exteroceptive stimulation technique. The main objective of this experiment was the evaluation of effect of stroking - the exteroceptive stimulation on muscle tonus. The muscle tonus was measured before the exertion, after anaerobic exertion, after passive rest and after exteroceptive stimulation. Measuring of muscle tonus of m. soleus was performed in FTVS-UK laboratory using myotonometer. The data were displayed through analog-digital convertor and were subsequently processed in program Matlab.
