Static solution of concrete chimney
Kašparů, Jakub ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The goal of this Master´s thesis is a review of a reinforced concrete chimney´s stack and a foundation design based on a combination of M+N load. Two bar models (by ČSN and EN) and one shall model were created to analyze internal forces. The fine element software SCIA ENGINEERING was used to create the models. The loads taken into consideration - for analysis include self weight, lining, temperature, wind, and Karman vortex. The stack was horizontally divided by several cuts which were investigated. The stack and foundation were designed by an algorithm created in the program MS EXCEL. The piles were designed in the program GEO 5. Drawings include - drawings of shapes and drawings of the reinforcement of specifics part of chimney.
Segmentation of 3D medical images based on region growing method
Kantorová, Martina ; Krátká, Lucie (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachalor thesis deals with a region growing approach for segmentation of volumetric medical images. The aim is to present basic methods of segmentation of image data and to focus in particular on the approach of region growing. The input data are brain slices of magnetic resonance imaging which can be visualized using the browser into the three basic planes. The viewer is implemented in MATLAB programming environment. Image segmentation is realized by seeded region growing.
Design of robotic workstation for automatic assembly of extruders for 3D printers
Pulicar, Roman ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Kočiš, Petr (advisor)
Thesis is dealing with the creation of robotic worplace and its periphery. The paper is discrabing the robotic function and kinematics. The practical part of the paper shows several types of suggested robotic workplaces followed by solution processing of one selected type, where technical documentation and the calculation of production is made. The end of the paper shows economical and technological evaluation of the selected type of workplace including the price returns.
Preparation of Homeworks in the Course Algorithms
Trávniček, Jan ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Křena, Bohuslav (advisor)
This bachelors thesis describes creation of homework in the course Algorithms. Three newly implemented homeworks form the most important part. A modification of a system for automatic homework evaluation is a part of this thesis too.
Town planing study "Zbrojovka"
Bílek, František ; Dominik, Vladimír (referee) ; Herzan, Radovan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a revitalization of the grounds once belonging to Zbrojovka Brno. These grounds are in the zoning map defined as “brownfield”. Within Brno’s limits, the area has an extremely convenient location. Since the grounds are situated in the central part of Brno, the complex is in terms of traffic and transport in the vicinity of both, the current and the newly planned ring-road. Important factors influencing the project are the river Svitava which borders the west side of the area, and a railroad corridor skirting the east side of the location. Assigned area was, for the purposes of this thesis, expanded by the grounds once belonging to Zetor and the adjoining area towards Markéty Kuncové Street. Several buildings from the former grounds, which fit in into the urban concept and were in good technical conditions, have been preserved. From a functional point of view, the newly designed grounds will meet all the requirements for a fully independent municipal district. The multifunctional development contains primarily housing complexes, administrative buildings, public facilities, recreational areas, as well as other functional structures. The urban concept of this project is a result of a study of surrounding blocks. Based on an analysis of the size and height of these buildings, an idealized block was designed and then recreated into a symmetrical raster of blocks with the street width of 20m. This raster was subsequently applied to newly designed points of entry into the area. Total urban and mass proposal of the development areahas been further influenced by principal conceptual points. Among these conceptual points belong the perspective axes which connect the conceptual points with an orientation point, in this case the former factory’s smokestack. Creating a new arm for the Svitava River is another point. Taking into account that the whole vicinity of the factory grounds is without quality public greenery elements.
Abstract Data Types for C Language
Duda, Tomáš ; Křena, Bohuslav (referee) ; Honzík, Jan M. (advisor)
This thesis deals with abstract data types in C language. There are explained abstract data types principles and operations around it. The main object of this thesis is a student scripts transcription, which is written in Pascal language, to the C language. Within all this belongs also an animated program for demonstration. This program animates operations around linear lists and is implemented in FLASH environment.
The Pushdown Automaton Simulator
Graizely, Martin ; Blatný, Petr (referee) ; Bidlo, Radek (advisor)
Visualization often helps with the understanding and allows for a quicker grasp of the problem. This work is aimed on implementation of pushdown automaton simulator. The purpose of the application is to ease understanding of such abstract machine and its abilities, by providing visual design and possibility of algorithm's interactive animation.

Interactive Data Structures
PRŠALA, Jan
The goal of this thesis is creating simple application for teaching dats structures - mostly focusing on data structures queue, stack, linked list, binary search tree and hash table. Each data structure is contained in its own modul and is shown on an example from the real world and in an abstract example, which can be modified by the user. This thesis itself contains the description of the data structures mentioned above. Instructions on how to add more modules are also there. The application itself with all the source code and the example of implementation of each data structure is located on the enclosed CD.
IPv6 stack test plan design
Malaník, Jan ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
My thesis describes IPV6 datagram structure, historical development and differences against IPV4. In other part I describe how it's possible to test network commnunication of Fedora 14 from view of performance, price and availability. One part of my work will be about different kinds of network stack and historical evolution. In the end of theoretical part I will describe testplan based on IEEE 829. In practical part of my work I will do testplan for IPV6 network stack of Fedora 14. Criteria to pass will be based on IPV6 Ready program. IPV6 Ready program is standard for cooperation between network devices, which using IPV6 protocol.
