The importance of corporate culture for strategic management of midsize enterprises

The thesis focuses on the current corporate culture in selected enterprises. It concerns two midsize enterprises focused on beer and malt. The main objective is to evaluate the level of the existing corporate culture of both companies. The partial target is to asses and to compare the corporate culture of selected companies on the basis of the analysis, as well as to find imperfections and to suggest possible remedy. The paper also describes the importance of corporate culture for strategic management. The theoretical part summarizes the findings regarding the corporate culture. The thesis also includes characteristics of the enterprise. The analytical part is prepared on the basis of a questionnaire survey in selected enterprises; it describes the selected sample and the findings. The employees are not satisfied with staff benefits and internal communication. The final part summarizes the findings of the survey and the recommendations for improvement of identified weaknesses.

These B. A. thesis deals with benefits analysis of Business Intelligence solution in a real SME company focuses on IT services. Introduction is focused on a definition of business intelligence and analysis of reachable related case studies. It is followed by own research in the company -- collection of users requirements, their comparison with the conditions of the company, benefits and cost descriptions, determination of risks, creation of multidimensional database model of Data Warehouse and possible output of Business Intelligence solution. The analyse's results from the side of the company and also a process of its making from the side of the company and author are in the conclusion.
Key factors in prosperity of medium business

This thesis analyzes the situation of the Zahradní a parková spol. s r.o. and proposes measures to improve its prosperity. The theoretical section is devoted to specifics of SMEs and describes the aspects of marketing, personnel management, management and financial management. In the practical part, are then applied the theoretical findings to identify the factors of prosperity in selected firm in selected areas and performed a SWOT analysis. Measures to maintain and increase prosperity of company have been defined.

The practical part introduces a particular company with an overview of how things work in reality and what can be improved.
Transition of small company into middle-sized company - change management in the management of work output

This master thesis deals with problems of changes in the management of human resources connected to an expansion of a company. It focuses on small and middle-sized companies. The first part describes theoretical principles of company growth, change management and specifics of small and middle-sized companies, including differences in human resources management. The second part describes some practical examples in the field of company growth and related changes. Different attitudes and ways applied to implement changes while solving growth problems are shown on the sample of two selected companies Each of the two companies finally developed in an opposite way, depending on how they had implemented changes. The first company continues its development as a middle-sized company and the latter bankrupted. Analysis of reasons of the success or failure while managing the growth is a part of this master thesis.
