An application for color coordinate transforms and color mixing
Jurzykowski, Michal ; Štukavec, Radim (referee) ; Slanina, Martin (advisor)
The most important human sense is sight. We can see thanks to eyes, which are very sensitive on small part of electromagnetic wave. White sunlight contents all the spectrum visible. By decomposition of white sunlight we get colour spectrum. We recognize colours by cones, which are sensitive on red, green and blue spectrum of white light. Informer times it was denited many colour models, which have been using additive and subtractive method od mixing colours. One of the first models which were matemacily defined was CIE 1931, also known as XYZ. Together with this model was created xy chromatic diagram for displaying of colour space. Best known colour models are RGB and CMY. In TV technics is used model YUV. Models HSV and HSL are more intuitiv. This models have three basic parameters: hue, saturation and brightness.
Testing of Blood Oxygenation for Pilots
Kvasnička, Pavel ; Smolík, Luděk (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This work investigates the measurement of blood oxygenation for pilots, which is based on noninvasively method of pulse oxymetry. This method is based on the selective light absorption in the spectrum of infrared and red light by oxyhemoglobin and reduced hemoglobin. For measurement is crucial a pulse component of arterial blood, in which is measured concentration of hemoglobin to total amount of hemoglobin.
Recognition of Weather in an Outdoor Stationary Camera View
Jenčo, Michal ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with classification of weather from stationary outdoor camera images with a landscape view. It classifies fog, clear, partly cloudy and overcast weather in particular. The problem was solved by computing five image flags and using machine learning. Hit rate of 95% was achieved with only small variances between weather types. The main finding of this work is that it is possible to successfully differentiate between the selected weather types with the chosen set of simple image flags. The implementation of this system enables plotting a graph of weather progression during a chosen day.
Controlling of camera
Tylš, Ladislav ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis describes the principles of making application which is able to set and control camera. The first part describes basic camera connections and it explains definition and specification of camera’s features. The second part of my thesis describes implementation of application, which can use more cameras to image preview, image acquisition and to simply set of camera’s features. To implement the applications we can use MATLAB and C++BUILDER uses opencv libraries.
Pulse Oxymeter in LabVIEW
Synek, Josef ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
One of the most important vital functions of the human body is providing sufficient oxygen to all its parts. Oxygen in the blood binds to hemoglobin and it is transported to tissues. Oxymetry is non-invasive method for measuring the amount of oxygen bound to hemoglobin. Oxygenated hemoglobin and deoxygenated have different absorption characteristics for light of different wavelengths. Therefore, pulse oxymetry transmits tissue with red and infrared light. Signal passing through the tissue is affected by the absorption properties of hemoglobin and heart pulse. These signals are measured and the ratio of their size allows us to calculate blood oxygen saturation.
Modern methods of reconstruction of saturated signals
Beránek, Šimon ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the problems of signal degradation caused by clipping and methods for its removal and signal restoration. Basics of mathematical formulations needed, signal processing and optimalization tasks are described. The goal of this thesis is the implementation of basic algorithms used for hard declipping and creating an audio database later used for testing these algorithms. These implementations are followed by modeling of soft clipping and later restored using the improved algorithms. The restorations are tested using the subjective hearing test MUSHRA and the results are statistically evaluated.
Social Need and Their Saturation in the Treatment of Stroke
ČERVENKOVÁ, Eva
Medical staff should not forget on meeting the needs of the patients. Stroke is a disease that changes a person's role in society. When the disease occurs to the disruption of social needs, and this may worsen the course of treatment. Inadequate satisfaction of social needs in time of illness can lead to impaired adaptation of the patient to the society. Objectives: to Map the way in which the medical staff monitors and saturates the social needs of the patient after a stroke. Research question: How general nurses monitor the social needs of the patient after a stroke? What social needs are most often represented? How nurses help influence the saturation of these needs?
Respondents of the Aktionsart category "saturation" (contrastive corpus analysis)
KOSTUDISOVÁ, Simona
This bachelor's thesis is called Respondents of the Aktionsart category "saturation" (contrastive corpus analysis) and its aim is to compare the categories of verbal aspect, lexical aspect (Aktionsart) and saturation in the Czech and Spanish language. It is comprised of two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the comparison of the categories, their definitions and coherence in both languages. Moreover, it examines the means of their realization in the verb, again in both languages. The basis of the practical part is the work with the newest version of the parallel corpus InterCorp, which is used to perform a contrastive analysis of the translation counterparts of saturation in Czech and Spanish.
Štítná žláza prasat
ŠTĚCHOVÁ, Petra
Thyroid gland is very important endocrine organ that interferes with a number of processes in the body. Sufficient iodine saturation of animals is essential for optimal production of thyroid hormones. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to determine iodine supply of slaughter pigs and morphometric parameters of thyroid glands in selected individuals. The study included 27 castrated hybrids of Czech landrace and Pietrain. Iodine content in urine was determined using the Sandell - Kolthoff spectrophotometric method. Thyroid parameters were determined microscopically: length, width, outer and inner area of the follicles and thyrocyte height. The representation of individual size categories of follicles was also determined. The average content of urinary iodine in the observed group was 350.8+-184.3 ug/l, the maximum was 608 ug/l and the minimum was 76 ug/l. Optimally saturated with iodine was 44.44 % of individuals, 11.11 % had a deficiency and 44.44 % an excess of iodine. The average length of the thyroid follicle was 149.3+-64.8 um, width 105.9+-50.6 um, outer area 16810.6+-18030.0 um2, inner area 14318.4+-16985.2 um2 and thyrocyte height 6.2+-2.6 um. In the thyroid glands was 9.4 % small, 62.8 % medium and 27.8 % large follicles. In the selected group of individuals, the impact of different iodine saturation of animals on all monitored thyroid parameters was demonstrated.
Modern methods of reconstruction of saturated audio signals
Mikulášková, Aneta ; Mokrý, Ondřej (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis presents a variety of soft clipping simulations and their respective de-clipping functions. A restoration method uses a Douglas-Rachford algorithm (already verified for hard de-clip). The algorithm is extended by inverse functions and simultaneous de-quantization is proposed. The simulations are applied to artificial signals, and audio samples, and the proposal is tested in the computing environment MATLAB. A restored signal is later evaluated by objective and subjective methods.
