The thesis (also) introduces the topic of data backup and cloud storage and problems with this issue closely related. In the first part, these problems are analyzed theoretically. The second part is the analysis of cloud solutions and the market of these products. Furthermore, the thesis includes ideas and proposals for optimization or for practical implementation of cloud based data backup gradually as solutions for personal, home or corporate data backup.

This diploma thesis is dealing with the assessment of the information system of the selected business unit in company AUTOCONT, a.s. and suggests changes for improvement of its current situation. The practical part of this thesis presents an analysis of the current situation of company and an analysis of the information system providing communication and collaboration, based on theoretical knowledge. With the result of the analysis a suggested solution is presented to eliminate found deficiencies and support improvement of work efficiency and to achieve strategic goals of the company.
The analysis of modern cloud solutions

This thesis describes existing cloud storage systems. Description of the prerequisites of developing cloud and distributed systems are presented. Current storage systems such as Dropbox, iCloud and Google drive are described. Description is mainly focused on the resources of both protocols and derive a conclusion for the use in the cloud storage systems. The practical part of this work is focused on creating two labs, what will be implemented in the teaching syllabus of Projecting, Administration and Security of Computer Networks subject. The first of the labs is focused on the implementation of own cloud services. In the last lab students attention will concentrate on interception of communication secured with SSL protocol.

It should also save time and enable faster adaptation to new changes in the company PORTABELL. The first part describes the essential theory to get the reader acquainted with the issues, the second part is dedicated to the analysis of corporate environment and its trouble spots. The last part deals with the selection of the information system. The information system is chosen based on the predetermined criteria and requirements.

Název rigorózní práce, abstrakt a klíčová slova v anglickém jazyce Software licensing in cloud computing and related legal issues The topic of this rigorous thesis is "Software licensing in cloud computing and related legal issues." The aim of this work is to define the individual advantages and disadvantages of software licensing in the basic cloud computing models from the point of view of Czech legislation with the overlap into the European and international legislation. The author further aims to evaluate whether this regulation of software licensing in cloud computing is sufficient. For this purpose, the author in the first chapter of this work deals with the definition of cloud computing, describes individual deployment models - private, public, community and hybrid and its three basic distribution models - IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. In the second chapter, the author deals with software, its legal regulation and licensing according to the Czech legal system with an overlap into European and international regulation. Czech legislation is based, among other things, on the Berne Convention, the WIPO Copyright Treaty and European Directives, especially Directive 2009/24/EC. Legal Protection of Cloud Computing Abstract The thesis deals with the topic of cloud computing with a particular focus on a contractual regulation of the supply of Software as a Service (SaaS). The aim of this work is to provide an insight into the issue of the obligation arising from the supply of cloud services and the various ways to contractually capture the aspects of the service between provider and user. The first part defines the technology of cloud computing with the focus on one specific model, namely Software as a Service. Furthermore, cloud computing is embedded in the legal framework within the internal legal order and the EU legal order. The second part of the work already analyzes the obligation that arises between the provider and the user of SaaS cloud services which needs to be contractually treated. Attention is paid to the essential requirements concerning contracts, such as the applicable law, liability of the parties, change or termination of the contract, as well as requirements that are specific to the SaaS contracts, such as the issue of incorporating intellectual property rights in SaaS contracts, service level agreement and acceptable use policy. Cloud Computing in Public Sector - Benefits and Risks

(anglicky) This thesis deals with benefits and risks of using cloud computing in public sector institutions. The thesis focuses mainly on the usage of public cloud deployment model. The thesis is divided into 4 main chapters. The first chapter presents definition and basic characteristics of cloud computing. The second part consists of PESTL analysis that describes the impact of macro-environmental factors (namely political, economical, social, technological and legal factors) on the use of cloud computing in public sector institutions. The third part presents SWOT analysis of cloud computing and its use in public sector. The fourth chapter presents a case study of the implementation of cloud computing services at The Faculty of Arts of the Charles University. The results of the conducted analysis tend to positive effects of cloud computing use in public sector institutions, presuming a proper risk analysis is done before implementation begins.
