Citizens participation in the town life on a case study in Mnichovice

The civic participation is an active approach of the citizen who has possibility of using more or less formalized tools to influence public affairs. This diploma thesis "Citizens participation in the town life on a case study in Mnichovice" will deal with civic participation in a small town close to Prague - Mnichovice. The level of participation will be analyzed by the OECD (information, consultation, active participation) town hall uses, what factors influence participation rates, what motivates people to engage in participation and what discourages vice versa and which particular forms of cooperation with citizens are effective for local public administration. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the historical development of civil participation in decision making processes, analyzes legislation of the Czech Republic to describe the theoretical participation and engagement in different types of participation in the various approaches and finally explores options of participation in a small town with 3200 residents, which is located in the suburbia of Prague, 30 km south-east from the center of the capitol city. In February 2014 CVVM investigated how people evaluate their possibilities to influence public affairs. Specifically, questions concered to possibility to openly express view of problems in society, in the town, in the state and the posibility to achieve their legitimate requests. We asked respondents to assess their possibilities to influence political decision-making and also the effectiveness of each activity. This press release offer comparison with previous surveys which were realized from 1997.

Diplomová práca Lobing a jeho uplatnenie v rámci komerčných komunikácií si kladie za cieľ analyzovať postavenie a vnímanie lobingu vo svete širokou aj odbornou verejnosťou. Práca je rozdelená na osem častí. Skladá sa z teoretickej časti doplnenej o analytické prvky a praktickej časti nasledovanej prípadovými štúdiami k danej problematike. Prvé kapitoly upresňujú odborové začlenenie lobingu do marketingových komunikácií a public relations. Ďalšia časť práce je venovaná špecifikám lobingu v Spojených štátoch a v Európskej únii. Nasledujú state venované pripravovanému zákonu o lobingu na Slovensku a prieskumu verejnej mienky v Českej republike. Posledné časti popisujú, ako sa lobing využíva v praxi. Praktickú časť dopĺňajú prípadové štúdie.

Public Official´s Remuneration

At the outset, the Bachelor thesis specifies the remuneration area in public services especially in the Czech Republic, both in the point of view of jurisprudence experts, and the general economic theories concerning the bureaucracy and public sector combining the opinions of sociology. The broad issue of remuneration is set into the historical context. The thesis pays heed of contemporary projection into state functioning, particularly in Philippines, in Portuguese, and in the New Zealand. On this fundament, in the thesis are named and circumscribed the most consequential problems defending the right functioning in the field of remuneration in public services, scilicet by the form of questions; primarily, the problem of responsibility in context of law system direction. The last section is dedicated to the search for answers of outlined questions, namely by the experts' proved and practical experience and opinions.
