Occupational Health and Safety with Focus on Atypical Forms of Employment

Thesis Title: Occupational Health and Safety with Focus on Atypical Forms of Employment The thesis aims to analyse and present the rules of occupational health and safety (OHS). The second goal of the thesis is the research of OHS solutions in atypical forms of employments with regard to current development of working relationships. The thesis also deals with the question of atypical forms of employment and the ensuring of OHS in Germany (GER). The collected information is used for comparison and evaluation of both countries and their attitudes toward OHS in atypical forms of employment. Part of the thesis is also devoted to possible course of OHS in the atypical forms of employment de lege ferenda including potential inspiration from GER in connection with ensuring of OHS. The thesis is mainly based on study of laws, relevant literature, comments and current articles. In the thesis, the descriptive and analytical method are used and at the end supplemented by the comparative one. The thesis is divided into six chapters that are split systematically into subchapters. The first part is focused on the definitions of fundamental terms that are further used in the following chapters. Work performance outside the employer's workplace Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the institute work performance outside the employer's workplace, to assess its current legislation and to provide possible solutions in terms of de lege ferenda. The first part of the diploma thesis defines basic terms relating to discussed issues, which are place of work, regular workplace, homeworking and teleworking, for the purposes of better understanding of the following text. The second part deals with the historical development of this institute from the first legal regulations relating to homeworking to current legislation contained in the Labour Code and in Act on Civil Service. One chapter of this part is also dedicated to amendment of the Labour Code from 2017, which should have brought substantial changes into this institute, but it was not accepted. The third part represents the most significant documents concerning homeworking or teleworking at the international level and at EU level. The Labour Code introduces several variations from statutory regulations for employees who work outside the employer's workplace and organize their working time themselves. The topic of this dissertation thesis is a debated issue called "homeoffice and homeworking", which originates from "atypical and flexible forms of work/employment", which are not captured in our labour code as a relevant section that describes legal foundation for setting up standards for employees, nor the employer. The Selected topic comes out of current needs of labour market, ergo needs from the companies, employers and employees. These needs are rising from changes and implementations of new terms and conditions for working out of employers work place, it also originates from demands of young population for more flexible and "free" working time. It comes hand in hand with industry revolution called Industry 4.0. Digital nomad – management, managing people on distance

This bachelor thesis is about teleworking, specifically the digital nomads with main focus on the details of a manager's position. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part mainly came from available specialized literatures on this topic. It familiarizes with today's approaches and it sets up the basic overview about this issue. The practical part of the work is based on qualitative research, which was structured by interviews with ten different nomads. During the interviews they shared their approaches and methods for leading their employees on distance. The aim of this thesis is to familiarize with this more and more growing trend of teleworking, formulate today's methods, enrich them with my own research, and afterwards express the most important principles and tips for managing people on distance.
Teleworking - current situation in the Czech republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on teleworking (homeworking) and its current situation in the Czech republic. It is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part, familiarizes with chosen topic. It explains basic terms, describes an attitude of the European Union and aspects of teleworking in the Czech law. Mission of this part is to submit a common attributes of teleworking, point out on existing technologies in remote working and highlight its possible advantages and disadvantages for employees as well as for employers. Practical part focuses on how Microsoft Czech Republic puts teleworking (homeworking) into practice. Part of it is also a research among employees of this company. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to provide recommendation to managers who plan to use the concept of teleworking in their companies.
Analysis of usableness of cloud computingu for teleworking

Cloud Computing has become a serious participant in ICT in past few years. Technical and economic attributes of Cloud Computing can change a forecast in an organization. These benefits are investigated and putted into large picture of teleworking. In critical moment there is flexibility, which is crucial either for the organization or for the individual. How much is flexibility important is illustrated on the example of organization, that is considering whether the cloud computing and teleworking is the right way for the their future.
