Using of NTC method to the development of partial functions of preschool children

This dissertation is focused on the development of skills of children in preschool age. The work is split into the theoretical and practical parts. The chapters of the theoretical part deal with the characteristics of child's progress in preschool age as well as with partial function development, personal growth and upbringing in the preschool age. The work is focused on the education of children in preschools and on the monitoring of school maturity. The practical part of the dissertation concentrates on the implementation of the NTC Stimulation Programme into the pedagogical and educational activities of the Salomon Preschool, a private education center for preschool children. In the practical part, the NTC method is evaluated based on the comparison of the research group with a control group consisting of children attending state preschool. Furthermore appropriate activities for preschool children are recommended. The recommended activities are focused on the support of specific key competencies and skills. Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: The bachelor thesis deals with problems of mathematics education for pupils with specific learning disabilities in the second grade of primary school. Pupils with specific learning disabilities need special education support in mathematics lessons. Mathematics teachers should offer them this support. The level of mathematics education for pupils with specific learning disabilities is dependent on the level of knowledge, skills and the experiences of teachers and on the readiness of a school in dealing with pupils with specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part described problems like the deficits of partial functions, dyscalculia, and pupils with dyscalculia in mathematics lessons. It provides the needed academic foundation for the actual research. The field studies show the results of the qualitative methods of research of the readiness of mathematics teachers and schools in dealing with pupils with specific learning disabilities. Options of development of partial functions of pre-school children Abstract This thesis is focused on issue of the development of partial functions in preschool age and mapping of the course of development of partial functions in kindergartens in Karlovy Vary Region and Prague. The task of the theoretical part is to define the notions of partial functions and partial functions deficits and to explain their relationship to specific learning disabilities. It describes the characteristics of preschool age and options of development of partial functions in its course. It includes basic information about school maturity, pedagogical- psychological diagnostics of children in kindergartens. It mentions also the child's enrollment in the first grade of primary school and school attendance delay. The aim of practical part is to map the access of kindergarten teachers to options of development of partial functions in Karlovy Vary Region and Prague, comparing the survey results obtained in these two regions and supplement obtained data with the information gathered from the interview. Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: Development of partial functions in preschool and early school age is an important part of school maturity and preparedness when entering the compulsory education. The goal of my dissertation was pointing out specific partial functions and their substance and importance. Pointing out the diagnostic methods which discover potential deficit of partial functions in preschool and early school age. Introducing the stimulus programmes on individual deficits in weakened partial functions. As a method of the research was used quantitative and qualitative research. Analysis and interpretation of the research results were implemented as well. The research was implemeted in Preparatory class of Elementary school in Prague 10. Children from the preparatory class were divided in two groups. Possibilities of partial functions development in the first class of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with pupils' possibilities of partial functions development in the first class of elementary school. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and it introduces the definitions in the field of specific dysfunctions of learning. It also deals with a possible diagnostics of the specific dysfunctions. The thesis describes crucial partial functions in the relation to school skills acquirement and it presents the partial function theory as one of the causes in difficulties in reading and writing acquirement. The practical part analyses the results of the diagnostics which was realized in the first grade at elementary school. This diagnostics was aimed to chosen partial functions and the results were taken before and after the exercises aimed to partial functions development.
