Dopad udržitelné produkce potravin na chování spotřebitele
Yerengaliyeva, Guldana
This thesis examines the impact of sustainable food production on consumer behaviour. In order to achieve the aim of the thesis, an analysis of organic farming in the EU and the Czech Republic, an analysis of the organic food market in the Czech Republic and an assessment of the willingness to pay a higher price for or-ganic food were carried out. A questionnaire survey was also conducted among consumers to determine their opinion on organic products and their purchasing behaviour towards these products. As a result of the thesis, it was determined which factors influence consumers' purchasing behaviour towards organic products and which factors are barriers to the purchase of organic products. Recommendations for consumers and producers involved in the production and sale of organic food were also formulated.
The Voluntary Tools of Environmental Protection
Švehlová, Nina ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Žákovská, Karolina (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the voluntary tools of environmental protection, those representing a remarkably wide and variable group of tools. The aim of this thesis is to create an integrated and compendious overview of the previously mentioned tools applied not only in the Czech Republic, to outline its basic characteristics, ways of its usage, and its mutual combinations, including the analysis of the legal regulation of the voluntary tools. After the two introductory chapters dedicated to the environmental policy and the system of all tools of environmental protection the following chapter deals with the voluntary tools only, dividing them for the purposes of this diploma thesis into categories of regulatory, informative, and educational tools. Considering the extent of the topic, the author decided on a detailed analysis elaboration of the three chosen tools in the following part of the thesis. In the fourth chapter the diploma theses concentrates on the EMAS according to the Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the voluntary participation by organisations in a Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), which is being compared to the second implementation option of Environmental Management System, that is represented by the internationally...
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
POKORNÁ, Kamila
The diploma thesis focused the economic efficiency of growing oat and spring barley in a conventional and organic farming system during 2018 to 2022. The thesis is divided into two parts, the literary part and the practical part. The literary part describes economic efficiency, agriculture, agricultural subsidies and selected crops. The practical part includes calculating the profitability of crops in both systems. The basic rate of profitability was determined based on the revenues, purchase prices and costs of each business. In the end, financial support in the form of subsidies to which the selected companies are entitled are added to the calculation of profitability. In addition to the calculation itself, the thesis includes the causes of the resulting difference in efficiency between the two systems.
Conversion of the farm on organic farming - case study
KOTRBOVÁ, Kateřina
This thesis deals with a family farm in the South Bohemian region, evaluating the current state of management on the farm in conventional agriculture. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate whether the conversion to organic farming is worthwhile for the company. According to the mentioned documents from the owner of the farm and obtaining information about subsidy titles for future years, it was evaluated that this family farm is able to prosper in organic farming. The theoretical part of the work contains information about the history of organic farming in the Czech Republic, the main goals of organic farming, legislation, con-trol, certification and also about state support for organic farming. The second part of the work characterizes the surroundings of the enterprise, the past and present state of the farm, which deals with the structure of plant and ani-mal production, feed balance, calculation and evaluation of data. The last part deals with the evaluated data and evaluates them into final results. Several options are proposed with which the company can work after conversion and become more specialized according to sales.
Vyhodnocení bilance živin (N, P, K, Ca a Mg) v ekologickém podniku hospodařícím na trvalých travních porostech
Ščambura, Maxmilián
The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of nutrient balance in an organic farm on permanent grasslands with dairy and beef cattle and sheep. Relationships between soil, plants, and farmed animals were observed, followed by an evaluation of whether the ecosystem (soil) was depleted or enriched with the observed nutrients. In the overall balance in the monitored year 2019, it turned out that only magnesium enters to the company in a larger amount, the entering of phosphorus is equal to zero. Residual nitrogen, potassium, and calcium are in loss figures. Imports of nutrients into the system consisted of purchases of nuclear feed, straw and mineral licks. Sales of milk and animals for slaughter contributed the most to the export of nutrients. In the monitored period, the loss of nitrogen without taking into account the fixation of air N and atmospheric fallout -25 kg per hectare was monitored. That is the lowest amount of nutrients supplied to the company. The largest surplus was found for magnesium, +3 kg per hectare. Neither in the loss nor in the excess was the value observed for phosphorus, which is equal to zero. The total loss of calcium is -9 kg per hectare and of potassium -3 kg per hectare.
Obsah jodu v mléce z konvenčních a ekologických chovů
HOLÍKOVÁ, Michaela
This bachelor thesis deals with the determination and evaluation of iodine content in milk obtained from organic and conventional farms. The investigation was carried out from June to December 2021. The observed results of iodine content in organic milk were compared with the results of iodine content in conventional milk. Furthermore, the iodine content of the bio-milk products was determined.
Možnosti využití odrůdové odolnosti bramboru a botanických insekticidů pro regulaci mandelinky bramborové (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) v ekologickém zemědělství.
ŠAŠKOVÁ, Jana
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of potato variety on the feeding behavior of Leptinotarsa decemlineata, the effectiveness of botanical insecticides on this pest and the possibility of using a combination of low doses of these products and varietal resistance of potatoes for pest control in organic farming. The aim was to find out whether the adult potato beetle prefers a certain variety and whether this food preference correlates with the content of glycoalkaloids. Furthermore, the effect of three selected preparations at concentrations of 0.1 %, 1 %, 10 % and 100 % of the recommended dose on the mortality of L. decemlineata adults was evaluated by toxicological tests and the values of lethal concentrations LC50 and LC90 were calculated. In further experiments, the synergistic effect of the variety on mandelin mortality after treatment with low concentrations of selected insecticides was investigated. It was found that of the three tested varieties, mandelinka preferred the Velur variety, then the Jindra variety and, lastly, the Dominika variety. The most preferred variety had a statistically higher solanine content compared to the remaining varieties. All three tested natural insecticides caused the death of the treated mandelins. The mean lethal concentration (LC50) was highest for NeemAzal, followed by Spintor and Rock Effect. The results of experiments combining low doses of insecticides and potato varieties did not show statistically significant differences in mortality between the more and less preferred varieties.
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
PICKA, Adam
This bachelor's thesis deals with an overview of the economic efficiency of growing field crops (winter wheat and winter barley) in an agricultural enterprise in the district of Jindřichův Hradec. Both crops are solved from the economic point of view of cultivation in both organic and conventional farming systems. The costs of growing plants, yield and average price production are calculated from the management procedures of the company, and then the economic efficiency of growing the crops is evaluated. The result is then compared with that of an organic farm that grows crops in comparable habitat conditions as a conventional farm. The difference between inputs and outputs in individual types of management is calculated and subsequently the results of the given management systems are evaluated.
