A new Variant of Production Components "Sole Plate"

The bachelor thesis aims at forming a new variant of production components „sole plate“ which has a character of a flat block with stepped protrusions. The main points of the work will be component analysis, description of the conditions under which the solution was carried out, description of the current technology, proposal of a new technology as well as their final comparison and the results assessment. The work is focused on forming a more effective manufacturing process which would replace the current one.

A universal milling machine with the 4th axis controlled by a divider

The bachelor thesis deals with types and facilities of applying the dividing head on the universal milling machines. Basic types of milling machines and ways of dividing are introduced. The topic includes types of cutting tools which are often used together with the dividing head and the universal milling machine. Appropriate cases in which it is possible to use the dividing head these days are presented, sometimes in connection with computer numerical control machines. The process of angular rotation of a workpiece is illustrated on a shaft during production of straight-sided splines on the universal milling machine.

Tools for CNC milling centres

This thesis is focused on milling tools for CNC milling centers. The first chapter of this thesis deals with a short theory of milling and the characteristics of CNC milling center. In next chapter are divided and described milling tools in terms of use and construction. This chapter also describes tool materials, clamping, coating and marking of these tools. The practical part is devoted to production assortment of mills from major producers. It is an analysis, description and evaluation of assortments of these producers. For this purpose were selected companies Sandvik Coromant and Pramet Tools.

In the teoretical part of the master´s thesis, the master´s thesis deals with milling and surface profile describing. In the practical part, the master´s thesis deal with model of surface profile after milling operation with plain milling cetter. For evalution were used data obtained from the computer model of the surface profil and data obtained from measuring the actual surface profil, which was created by machining the material mills with a diameter of 45 mm.

Machine for the recovery of road signs on roads

Object of this bachelor’s thesis is machine for the removing road signs on roads. Bachelor’s thesis involves background research with selection of similar machines on the market. Next part is focused on self design of the machine. Requirement of the design was simplicity of producing and high comfort for operator. This design is supported by calculations of basic parameters, V-belt transmission and strength check of shaft with tools.

Last part of thesis is focused on creating a blueprint and machining strategy with CAM software PowerMill v. 9, verification of created lanes creation itself on vertical milling machine FV 25 CNC with guiding system Heidenhain iTNC 530.
