Microcontroller based system for body temperature sensing
Svoboda, Pavel ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The dissertation is focused on creating a microcontroller system for measuring and recording temperature. In the opening part of the dissertation the requirements are described for the final product, selection of appropriate components and calculation of the suitable parameters of the specific components. In the following part the design of the circuit diagram and printed circuit board are described. The concluding part includes a description of the software equipment of the microcontroller and the program designed for the purpose of the transfer of data into a PC and the calibration of the equipment.
Remote temperature monitoring system
Gál, Radek ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This project describes the design of the system for remote temperature monitoring of stored goods for horse-breeding. The main task of this system is the early alert before the fire developed to spontaneous combustion and continuous monitoring of this commodities .. The control panel communicates with several autonomous temperature sensors. The measured values are displayed on the display and transmitted over the Ethernet network to a server where monitored temperatures and their graphical waveforms can be viewed.
Level indikator with wireless communication
Smatana, Tomáš ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and realization of a device that is used for wireless measurement and control of liquid level. The first section explains the different options for level measurement, different implementation of wireless communication and describes the basic features of the Atmel AVR microcontrollers. Based on this analysis, appropriate solutions are selected sensors and wireless modules suitable for the design of the device. The second part is the design of a device which is subsequently implemented.
SWR and HF power monitor
Gajdušek, Miroslav ; Blansko), (Metra (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with analysis methods continuous measuring systems for measurement standing wave ratio and high frequency power. Reflectometr, provision measuring standing wawe ratio, works in range frequence VHF (145 MHz, 443 MHz), for this width working frequence is used construction reflectometer with directive lead. Measurer HF power works into range 1kW. Further is in work go through problems communications bus for transmission data from unit monitor SWR a HF power into score modulus. With regard to high frequency interference is choice serial communication RS-485 , which is immune against disturbance. Further is designed evaluation unit MASTER, unit SLAVE and modules for measurement power and SWR. In finish is build up the firmware for units.

Improvement of the laboratory boards for BDTS subject
Hynek, David ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This work describes improvements in laboratory tasks that will be used in the university classes BDTS. Theseis classes deal with diagnostics and testing of electric circuits. Main focus is on simplification of the measurement procedure. An innovation, design, firmware development and realization are described in following chapters. The theoretical part explains functions of analog circuits and failure of electronic components. The last part focuses on testing of new laboratory tasks and on modifying laboratory manuals.

Control unit for heat pump
Kada, Tomáš ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Hadinec, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is interested in optimal regulation of air-water heat pump for heating the family house. The emphasis is reach the maximum efficiency, lowest cost and longest life of heat pump. The regulation is carried out by microcontroller ATmega16, which receives data from several temperature sensors, real-time clock circuit and indoor unit with user interface. The regulation is divided into two parts – control of heat pump and circulation pump floating hot water to radiators.
Planar LED Display Application
Houserek, Jiří ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
This coursework deals theoretical with design and construction of the electronic clocks controlled by DCF77 signal, which is broadcasted from Germany. This device will be used as alarm and is able to show date. There is used display, which consists of 8x32 LED matrix in a modular, which is connected to main board over the edge. This device is controlled by microcontoller PIC16F887A. There are described displays, microcontrollers and DCF time signal.
