Employment of foreigners in the medical facilities

The subject of this diploma thesis is to characterize the requirements on legal stay of foreign employees in the Czech Republic, their employment and recognition of their qualification. Topics found in the literature and associated to international migration of employees in medical facilities, topics associated to their legal stay in the Czech Republic, rules of employing them and rules of recognition of their qualification are described in theoretical part of my diploma thesis. The main goal of the practical part is to find out what is the state in 2 medical facilities which took part in my research. And to compare them from the perspective of their quality, according to the structure of all professions and work adjustment of foreign employees. Readiness of healt care providers to mass disasters

Reception of a large number of the injured to a medical facility as a result of a mass disaster or a catastrophe puts high demands on health care. Such situations can not be dealt with the mere improvisation; it is necessary to create unified organizational procedures defining the composition of medical teams and their activities during the multiple reception of the injured to a medical facility. The theoretical part of this thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of emergency preparedness in healthcare facilities. In the empirical part, I analyzed the readiness of health facilities for a mass disaster in the capital city of Prague. A structured interview with open questions was chosen as a method of data collection. Based on the survey, I concluded that the readiness of health facilities in the capital city of Prague differs. I recommend setting up a phone line while receiving patients as a result of a mass disaster in order to improve the situation in Prague. The sole purpose of such a line would be reporting emergencies. I also recommend health care facilities participate actively in exercises within the integrated rescue system and clearly identify and determine facilities where the reception of the injured takes place if a mass disaster occurs. Logistics of medical facilities

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to logistic support of medical facilities. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of logistic. It describes operations, economics, activity and specificities of medical facilities. The last chapters of theoretical part deal with the information about the purchase and management of resources in health service. The practical part includes a description of a real situation of logistic support in two specific hospitals. It also includes a comparison of expenditures which arise in relation to supply management in the chosen departments of these hospitals. Contrasts are also dealt with.

System of funding of provided health care focused on particular medical facility

Nearly all states, in order to protect health of their inhabitants, have formed a system of public heatlhcare provided to people which is formed besides other circumstances also by influence of standard social values. The value of a humam life and the value of health are the basic values, which influence the development of the systems of healthcare in modern societies. The bachelor thesis describes the healhcare system from a point of view of 3 subjects involved and relations between them. It considers patients or insured people, who need and consume the healthcare, providers, who offer it and insurance companies, who arrange it financially.
