Art and Drama Concept in Primary School

Presented thesis investigates the possibilities of art drama in the form of project teaching at elementary level of primary schools. The theoretical part characterises a child of a younger school age, types of communication in the classroom and the role of a teacher. It deals with methods and means of art and craft and drama lessons which interlace in the process of art drama. It defines the subject of artfiletics as a starting point of an alternative art process. The practical part describes in detailes individual parts of the project using technicques of art drama to understand symbolics and ceremoniality of folk traditions. Authentic experience of drama play or different physical action should motivate children to their own art creations. It sould be benficial to their aesthetic, personality and social development. Folk Traditions and The Key Competences Development

This work deals with integrating folk traditions into the offer of education of a kindergarten in accordance with the General Educational Program for Preschool Education and their contribution to the development of key competencies. The theoretical part defines the meaning of key skills, specifies the key skills in the preschool education and conducts an assessment of these competencies. Potential of folk traditions for the development of key competencies is established. In frame of the next section the most important holidays and traditions, their importance, history as well as the ways of celebration are characterized. The practical part is devoted to the creation of specific thematic units. These units are continuously evaluated and a research documenting the benefits of folk traditions to the development of key competencies is performed. This program is implemented and its actual benefits in practice are evaluated in terms of the contribution of selected activities to the development of key competencies.
The reflecting of Folkways in Nursery School education Plan

In my bachelor thesis I point to the possibility that render traditions in the creation and implementation of educational content of school curriculum kindergarten. I suppose that the program based on folk tradition can fully meet requirements for pre-school education in the curriculum for pre-school education. In the theoretical part I focus on the folk traditions that are natural and connected with nature. I´m trying to integrate these traditions into pre-school education. I describe folk traditions and their traces in my region. In the practical part I present the vitality of folk traditions in nursery school. These are activities and actions that can be carried out in nursery school. The content of school curriculum has been compiled using folks traditions. All these topics are added with thematic unit Feasts. The thematic unit is accompanied by a video as a cross-sectional image.
