The practical part is devoted to equity indices, which focus on Central and Eastern Europe. The thesis describes the possible causes of the financial bubble in real estate stock markets and the impact of financial crisis on the evolution of these equities.

This thesis deals with the forming of the investment suggestion for the enlargement of the unit trust portfolio. The main goal is to choose several perspective companies from the focused industry sector and to evaluate the inclusion of their securities in the unit trust portfolio with using economic indicators. Data is analyzed by using legal sources, academic textbooks from the author’s study and the related literature. To ensure the proper evaluation the thesis measures all companies always by the same method. Outcome of this thesis enables the forming of an investment recommendation.
The Proposal to Change the Investment Portfolio of a Collective Investment Fund

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose a change in the portfolio of the selected collective investment fund. In the theoretical part, we will focus on concepts such as investments, types of investors, risks, or the actual breakdown of collective investment funds. In the practical part, we look at selected stock companies, their volatility and comparison. The result of the work is the proposal to change the portfolio of the Franklin Euroland Fund.

Underhand retail investment funds Abstract The master thesis deals with the topic of the activities of underhand retail investment funds according to § 98 of Act No. 240/2013 Sb., on Management Companies and Investment Funds, as amended. The aim of this thesis is to present and analyse this regulation. The attention is mainly focused on defining the general and typical features of this activity prohibited by law, which consists in the unauthorised operation of a retail investment fund without the necessary authorisation. A partial objective of this work is also a brief definition of assistance with underhand retail investment fund according to Section 99 of Act No. 240/2013 Coll., on Management Companies and Investment funds, as amended, and an analysis of the sanctioning of underhand retail investment funds in the framework of the offence proceedings. This diploma thesis deals with collective investment schemes, with the main focus on investment fund managers and administrators. Collective investment scheme is a form of indirect investment on the capital markets. It is an arrangement that enables a number of investors to pool their assets and have these professionally managed by an independent manager. It is a specific form of business which is based on raising finance from public or number of investors and then investing it with a goal of making profit. Investment is spread across a wide range of financial instruments which creates diversified portfolio. The First chapter serves as introduction to the basic principles of collective investment schemes, to its legal framework and legal entities that operate within this framework. Purpose of the second chapter is to give comprehensive overview of the managers of investment funds. It deals with cross-border management of investment funds, both within and outside of EU, operating conditions for AIFMs, capital and organisational requirements. 5252 Abstract Collective investment and its legal regulation In the Czech Republic the collective investment has experienced a huge expansion in the last decade which was caused among others by renewing the trust in legal regulation which ensures the safety of investment to the investors. Because the topic is relatively difficult and undoubtedly interesting I chose it as a topic of my diploma thesis. This paper is divided into chapters and subchapters containing particular topics regarding the collective investment legislation but to maintain the overall logical structure of the issue. Before starting to write the diploma thesis I discussed the biggest problems of a practical application of the collective investment legal regulation with practising lawyers as this view from the academic preparation was missing. I found out from this short survey the most common problems connected with the collective investment legal regulation which I discussed in this diploma thesis. These include in particular the definition of public offering under the Collective Investment Act, the possibility to offer the services of closed-end foreign funds in the Czech Republic and the recently introduced legislation regarding standard and alternative funds. Collective investment in Czech Republic

The thesis presents the issue of collective investment in the Czech Republic and its findings are applied to a comparison of funds. The investment funds chosen for comparison are available in Czechia as a part of collective investment. The aim of the thesis is to verify the possibility and options of collective investment in the Czech Republic and comparison of selected funds based on selected criteria. Advantages, disad-vantages and history of collective investment in the Czech Republic are defined in the review. This part also explains subjects and typology of collective investment funds. There is also legislation regulating collective investment in the Czech Republic. First part of practical part deals with the development and the number of collective investment funds in the Czech Republic between 2013 and 2022. Second part compares selected shares and bond funds in terms of profitability, volatility, fund capital and the total cost of funds between 2018 and 2022. The conclusion recommends the potential small investor about the best possible way to invest his money.

This diploma thesis deals with the effects of the global economic and financial crisis on undertakings for collective investment. The theoretical part is devoted to current legislation governing collective investment undertakings for collective investment and typology of individual funds. This part is followed by the definition of the crisis and its different periods, including the impact on the world as well as the Czech economy. In the first part of the practical part is an analysis of the volume of the Funds based on the development of major macro indicators. The second part is an analysis of several selected mutual funds of Raiffeisen banks, managed by Raiffeisen Capital Management.
