The pavilion in the zoo Lešná
Petrík, Tomáš ; Puchner, Josef (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a processed design of a steel construction of a pavilion shaped by spherical segments. The pavilion has exhibition purpose as a part of the zoological garden Lešná, and is intended for African beasts. The design meets architectonical requests - roundness and luminosity. A shape of the pavilion consists of three intersecting cupolas with a frontal curved cut out for glass facade. Construction of the pavilion consists of the radial arranged arched ribs with transversal bars, which are supplemented by horizontal purlins. Forehead of the pavilion is formed by columns and girts. Cladding is designed in combination: aluminum profile and insulated glass. Comparison of alternative steel structure solutions is also a part of the diploma thesis.
Modern trends in the supporting structures of cranes
Hájková, Barbora ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis presents the critical research on the bearing constructions of cranes with a special focus on the tower cranes. It explains the basic terms related to the crane construction and its parts. The aim of this work is a critical evaluation of the future trends.
Exhibition pavilion
Řeháček, Jakub ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and review of the supporting structure of the exhibition pavilion in the suburb of Brno. The design is shaped dome built over the octagonal floor plan with eight lateral niches. The pavilion is 30m wide and 8 meters tall.
Locksmithery
Benýšek, David ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design of the load-bearing steel structure of locksmithery, which is located in the village Oldřichovice, in the old collective farm complex. The structure is designed for ultimate and serviceability according to normative requirements ČSN EN. The construction has a width 8,32 m, a length 20 m and a syntactical height 6,0 m. It is a structure consisting of transverse framework bindings at a distance of 5,0 meters from each other. For all elements was used steel S355. In the building is designed bridge crane EKKE about the capacity 5t from company DEMAG. The work consists of a static calculation, which assessed individual cross-sections and joints and also contains drawings and engineering report.
Supporting structure of exhibition pavilion
Novotný, Petr ; Štrba,, Michal (referee) ; Röder, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and stress analysis of the steel construction of an exhibition pavilion in Brno which utilises tensegrity in its load-bearing system. It also includes the assessment of the main load-bearing construction elements and of the details of selected connections. The thesis also contains the design documentation of the building.
Robotic Arm Model in the Microsoft Robotic Studio
Hubr, Josef ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The aim of this work was to introduce robot modelling in Microsoft Robotics Studio and to define the essential components and links for creation of robotic arm model. Thanks to gained knowledge has been created working robotic arm model and carried out experiments to lift up objects with various weight. The work consists of introduction to robotics, descriprion of Microsoft Robotis studio features, robotic arm model implementation and experiments to lift up objects.
Railway Station in Zlin
Benýšek, David ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design assessment railway station steel structure with roofing platform in Zlín. The structure has a lenght 80m, a width 44m and a height 9,87m. The structure is divided into two parts, first part consists office building and second part consistsroofing platform. The supporting structure of the hall is a transverse bond, which is formed by rounded truss ginder and truss columns with axial distance of 5 meters. The main construction material is steel S355JR. The work contains structural design report load-bearing elements, including joints and details. The calculations are processed according to the valid norms ČSN EN.
Steel Structure of Observation Tower
Virág, Patrik ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is design and structural analysis of loadbearing steel structure of observation tower, which is located southeast of Černá Hora, township Blansko. The design is processed in two options. Parts of the thesis are engineering report, structural design report for both of the options and graphical documentation in specified range. The structure’s height is 25.3 m and maximal ground plan dimension is 6 x 6 m. Steel grade S355 was chosen as main material. The sub-objectives of the structural analysis are load effects calculations (permanent load, imposed load and climatic load), entering of loads to the calculation model and calculation of internal forces and deformations. An assessment of the supporting elements and selected joints is also included. There are dynamic design features considered in the calculation. All calculations were performed in accordance with valid ČSN EN standards.
Furniture shop
Richtrová, Pavla ; Bukovská, Pavla (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to design and assessment of the key elements of the supporting structure of the furniture store. Glued laminated timber of GL24h class was designed as the main material of the supporting elements. The construction is symmetry square layout 30x30 m. The roof structure has the shape of a pyramid with a slope of 15°. The top of construction consist of the corner rafters installed on the corner columns. The main reinforcing elements are columns and rungs, which form stiff knee and ensure the stability. Roof cladding is considered of the panels of insulating glass for the upper half and metal tiles for the bottom half of construction for the calculation. External cladding is designed of sandwich walls. Detailed composition roof and external cladding were not resolved within the work. Bachelor thesis consists of a static calculation in which the individual cross sections and their joints including anchoring are assessed, technical report and drawings.
Static solution of timber structure
Burza, Martin ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Brdečko, Luděk (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on an analysis of a wooden house truss. The first part deals with the load acting on spatially complex roof structure which is modeled in the Scia Engineer 2012 analysis software. Furthermore, the work considers the most stressed cross sections of wood elements and selected joints. In conclusion, the Bachelor´s thesis evaluates the original construction design.
