Level of employment of secondary school graduates on the labour market of Liberec region The diploma thesis "Level of employment of secondary school graduates on the labour market of Liberec region" focuses on tree major factors influencing the level of employment of graduates. First is the role of vocational education in the educational system. The thesis tests two hypotheses. First considers vocational education to be superior to general education since graduates learn great deal of hard skills, which they can directly apply while applying for a job. Second hypotheses considers vocational education to be inferior to general education since what the graduates learn during their study does not reflect the needs of employers and they thus prefer the information about the level of education (general education). Second major factor this diploma thesis deals with is the role of social networks in finding first job. The thesis analyses the effectiveness of the social networks on the site of graduates and also on the site of employers. Third factor is the dynamics of the early working stage of graduates and the influence of social and economical forces on regional labour market. The thesis analyses data on the dynamics of employment of graduates in the Czech Republic and especially in the Liberec region.
Attraction and recruitment of university graduates: different perspectives of interested parties

5 Abstract This diploma thesis titled as Attraction and recruitment of university graduates: different perspectives of interested parties discusses the possible implementation of graduate recruitment within different organization. The text is divided into a theoretical part, which outlines the basic terminology and describes human resource activities connected with graduate recruitment and possible psychological profile and characteristics of graduates. The following chapters discuss situations that affect the perception of graduates in the labour market. The last chapter describes the available studies and investigations related to the evaluation of processes by participants. The empirical part focuses on the recruitment and selection of graduates in five different companies. The qualitative approach was used and semi-structured interviews were held with recruiters and graduates. The empirical part includes a comparison of processes in different companies, evaluate websites in the context of graduate recruitment and discuss the aspects of these processes, such as the perceived length of selection procedures, salary expectations of graduates and among other findings, what was most important to graduates when considering job offers. Evaluation of Financing of Universities in the Czech Republic and Abroad and Proposals to its Improvement

The diploma theses evaluates situation of universities in the Czech Republic and one foreign University 2003 – 2007. The Graduation theses compares their efficiency through the selected indicators. Diploma work evaluates proportion of public sources from state budget financing and non public sources and compares this status with foreign university. Diploma includes analysis, suggestions and recommendation for improvement of existing status with regard to future development, when university should become more self-sufficiency and be able to ensure service availability, validity and return of sources.
Organization diagnostics, favorite or outsider?

The diploma thesis summarizes professional theoretical findings describing the development and culture of organizations. This is the background for the theoretical framework, which focuses on presentation of the subject and on the tools used for diagnostics of an organizations. First, the thesis provides structured and clearly defined theoretical framework, which corresponds to a Diagnosis of Organizations taught at the Faculty of Humanities. The main goal of the thesis is to provide a feedback on the theoretical and practical education of this subject. For purposes of the thesis, the method of deep interview was selected, followed by analysis and presentation of selected data. The interviews were performed with six respondents, graduates of the Faculty of Humanities - master's degree program Management and Supervision in Social and Health Care Organizations. Unemployment of graduates in the labor market in the Czech Republic

The main aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis of unemployment of graduates of higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. This work compares the unemployment of graduates of lower level of university education with the unemployment of graduates of higher education. The graphs show three situations. The first group of graphs refers to the total unemployment of graduates in the monitored period by individual fields. The second group of graphs is the result of monito-ring the unemployment of university graduates in terms of long-term unemployment. The last set of graphs always shows the practical experience of unemployed graduates by individual study fields. At the end of this thesis are proposed changes to reduce the unemployment of graduates.
Solution of unemployment of young people through closer connestion of their vocational training with labor market requirements

This diploma thesis deals with the relationship between the vocational training of young people and the requirements of the labour market. The thesis is focused on secondary vocational education. The problem, that has been examined, is the lack of readiness of school graduates, to move to the free labour market. In order to improve this, it is necessary to try to reconcile the content and outputs of vocational training with the needs of the labour market. If graduates are poorly prepared for employers' needs, these graduates may become unemployed. The problem is getting worse with the longer duration of unemployment. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out and describe who participates in vocational training and how their mutual cooperation is implemented. In the thesis the author will try to find out the strengths and weaknesses of this cooperation. He will also try to find out in what kind of way the training of young people to the needs of the labour market is adapted. The thesis is a case study focused on the South Bohemian Region, which is briefly presented by selected indicators characteristic of the selected region. Comparison of unemployment rates of czech university graduates based on various factors

Observating unemployment of Czech university graduates while using different characteristics of them is a good foundation for evaluating their employability. Comparing unemployment rates between groups of students sorted for example by a study focus, type of a study program, or a gender can be valuable for evaluating actual work opportunities. Detailed analysis of the unemployment rates by different factors can also bring new knowledge regarding employment of the university graduates. Goal of this thesis is to compare the unemployment rates of the Czech university graduates by some of their key characteristics, and to evaluate the progression of aforementioned characteristics.
Graduates on the labor market in the Czech republic

This bachelor thesis is focused on problematics of graduates employment on the labor market in the Czech Republic. Graduates have a high potential of employment and a specific position. The bachelor thesis analyzes the position of university graduates in the labor market and the comparison with selected member countries of the European Union. The secondary data and the time series are used in the analysis. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to formulate several recommendations relating to the government, educational institutions and employers. Using these recommendations could facilitate and accelerate graduates' transition from education to work.
