Reconstruction of the existing bridge structure

Master's thesis deals with the reinforcement and expansion of girder bridge (continuous bridge with three spans) across the river Jihlava in Ivančice and reinforcement on the load class A. This is done by using an additional external prestressing cables and composite monolithic slab. Amplification is verified by calculation of load capacity.
Reinforced concrete beam bridge in Staré Město

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with a proposal for a new bridge which is used to transfer a local road across the river Krupá in Staré Město pod Sněžníkem. The bridge is designed as a girder bridge, simply placed with a length of 18,35m. The communication category is S7,5. Loads and assessment are done according to Eurocode.

Bachelor´s thesis is dealing with design of the road brigde on the road III/1219 over the river Lomnice. Three possible variants were developed, the chosen one is girder concrete bridge. A calculation has been done by hand, part of the thesis has been performed using Scia Engineer. Results were compared. The construction has been considered acconding to Eurocode.
Railway bridge over a local brook

The possible variation deals with the construction of prestressed girder bridge on one field with the lower deck. The aim of this work was to design and evaluate the structure on the basis of ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states according to applicable EN standards.

Bridge over the Lomnice river

The aim of this thesis is to design a bridge across the river Lomnice in Mirotice. It was designed in three variants. For detailed solving was chosen post-tensioned girder structure. Calculation of internal forces was made on the computational model in Scia Engineer 2013.1. The checks were counted manually in accordance with European standards.

Girder bridge over the Morava river

Bachelor's thesis deals with a design of one-span road bridge on road II/446 over river Morava in the village of Hanušovice. Three possible designs were developed and from these the version with two post-tensioned girders was chosen. Structural model and load effects are solved in the the Scia Engineer 2014.0. Assesments are calculated in hand according to Eurocodes. Load effects from temperature, wind and horizontal effects from traffic are not taken into account.
Design of a road bridge

The thesis deals with structural design of road bridge across the Opava river and its floodplain area. Three variants were elaborated and compared. Variant of 8-span girder bridge about three hundred metres long was chosen for detailed processing. Structural model was created by computational software Midas Civil and SCIA Engineer, first model is 3D beam grid model and includes time dependent analysis of construction phases. The second model is 2D model formed of plate elements. Structural design report and drawings are included. Assessment was provided accoding to valid European standards.
