Apartment building

This bachelor thesis processes the project documentation for the apartment building with a nearly zero energy consumption. The project of an apartment building is located in the city of Liberec, city district of Vesec and has four above-ground floors and one underground floor. The foundation of the apartment building is located in a slightly sloped terrain overlooking Ještěd and the neighborhood consists of family houses and apartment buildings. The main intention was to design comfortable, spacious and modern living space with low energy costs. The layout of apartments is suitable for families with children or for a young couple. None of the housing units are designed as barrier-free for people with limited mobility, but access to the building is wheelchair accessible and, if necessary, apartments can be changed to meet the requirements for barrier-free standards. In the basement of the building there are common areas including the gym and separate garage parking spots. Parking will be available even outside of the building, located from both sides of the building. The elementary materials used for the construction are brick and concrete from which the supporting structures of the building are made. The roof and part of the front of the building is designed to include vegetation.
Kindergarten

The diploma thesis contains a proposal and construction solution of a new nursery school in the village of Postřelmov in the stage of project documentation for construction. The kindergarten has a rectangular shape and has two above-ground floors and one basement floor. The main entrance to the building is wheelchair accessible and is oriented to the south. In the basement there are 26 parking places for employees of kindergarten and elementary school in Postřelmov and also a technical background. The first floor consists of two classes of kindergarten, on the second floor there is the third class and a large hall, which will be used mainly for cultural events in the kindergarten. The foundation structure is made up of concrete strips and the foundation foots are designed in places of garage parking. The vertical structures in the basement are designed from concrete fittings, the vertical load-bearing structures in the above-ground floors are designed in the Porotherm masonry system, the other non-load-bearing structures are designed in the Ytong system. Due to the large spans, the horizontal structures are designed from prestressed Spiroll ceiling panels. The roofing of the building consists of a flat green extensive roof. The project documentation also includes construction - physical assessment and fire - safety solution of the building.
Detached House Tichých

The subject of the bachelor thesis is a design documentation for detached house with a workshop. The object is situated in the South- Moravian region, in the city of Prštice. Detached house is designed as 6+kk and planned as a three-story building, with two above-ground floors and a basement. The workshop, which serves as a design office, is in the basement, with its own entrance from the west side of the plot. Besides of the design office, there is also toilet, and a bathroom in the workshop. Design office and family house are connected by a staircase. Main entrance of the family house is on the north side of the house. There is entrance for pedestrians and drive way to the garage as well. Entrance for pedestrians leads to wind lobby, from where is an entrance to the main hall and to the garage. There is staircase nearby main hall, which connects all floors. On the first floor there is a common part of the house with living room, kitchen and dining room. On the second floor there is a resting part of the house, with bedrooms for all family members and with a study. Vertical load-bearing structures are made from clay blocks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are composed from clay inserts and there is a mono pitched roof split into two parts. Above the garage, there is a walkable flat roof.
Detached Haus with the Photo Studio

The subject of the bachelor thesis is design documentation for detached house with workshop. The object is situated in the South- Moravian region, in the city of Šlapanice. Detached house is designed as 5+1 and planned as three-story building, with two above-ground floors and a basement. Workshop, which serve as a photo atelier is in the basement, with its own entrance from the east side of the plot. Besides of the photo atelier, there is toilet, cloak-room, bathroom and an office in the workshop. Photo atelier and family house are connected by staircase. Main entrance of the family house is on the north side of the house. There is entrance for pedestrians and drive way to the garage as well. Entrance for pedestrians is in a wind porch, which leads to the main hall with entrance to the garage. There is staircase nearby main entrance, which connects all floors. In the first floor there is common part of the house with living room, kitchen and study. In the second floor is a resting part made for sleep for all family members. Vertical load-bearing structures are made from clay-grinding bricks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are composed from clay inserts and there is a saddle roof, split to two parts.
Detached House in Štoky

It is a three-store family house with one underground store and twoo up ground stores. Family house is projected for four-five people. Vertical structures are designed from lime-sand fittings. The residential part of the building is covered with a shed roof over the garage roof is flat.

Detached house

The Bachelor thesis topic is a project of a low-energy detached house. The house is designed as two storey basementless wooden building with a pitched roof. The 4 bedrooms layout fulfills the design for 3-5 family members. The object includes a wooden warehouse for garden furniture and other tools. The warehouse which is connected by an one-car garage to the detached house. The architectural expression is to be a two matters interpenetration of a standard plaster and a stone facing. The two materials create an L-shape. The entrance which is shaded by the garage shelter is situated in the western part of the house. After the vestibule there is a living room connected with a kitchen. If turned right there is a technical room and WC. From the South-East oriented living room there is a contact with a garden which may be entered by a terrace via a french window. The second storey is reachable via a cranked flight of stairs. The second story layout is simply designed with a focus on an utility while respecting the cardinal directions. There are two children rooms which will be split by a soft wall in the future. The parent bedroom includes its own dressing room and bathroom. There is a bedroom, single WC and dressing room for the children. All of the bedrooms ar enterable form the hall and have southern-west view. The structure is to be from timber bearing boards that are also noise and heat insulants. The house shell is also covered by heat insulations. The structure is designed as a timber beam structure. The roof is supported by nailed timber trusses while respecting an over-rafter heat insulation. The warehouse and the garage shelter have their own not-to-be-walked flat roof.
