This bachelor thesis is focused on franchising as a modern way of doing business. The work is divided into two major parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the substance and functioning of franchising. It also describes developments in the world, and current positive trends on the Czech market. The practical part includes an analysis of UniCredit Bank, which is still the only banking institution in the domestic market which offers franchising licenses.
Franchising as a form of business on the example of selected company

The theme of this work is "Franchising as a form of business on the example of selected company" - Coffeeshop Company. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the concept of franchising to the case of Coffeeshop Company. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with basic concepts, characteristics and advantages and disadvantages of franchising as a form of business. The second chapter is devoted to the legal aspects: legislation changes introduced by the new Civil Code, establishing a franchise company and franchise agreement. The third chapter is devoted to presentation of Coffeeshop Company, its products, franchise concept. In the second part of the chapter there is a questionnaire survey among franchisees, which is followed by recommendations for improving cooperation between the franchisor and franchisees.
Analysis of financing small store in South Bohemia region

The first part of Master`s thesis focuses on defining the concept of small and medium sized company, a description of their meaning and the possibility of obtaining grants from EU structural funds and from government institutions. Within the options of grant will be prepared and submitted a grant application for a subsidized loan from Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank or from another entity. The second part of Thesis deals with the business plan. Thesis compares business plan from the franchisor with the reality that arose in building small store in Tabor and its operation in the first fifteen months. Based on the comparison may be designed to optimizing cost outlets of the store. The contribution of this Thesis is to look at a small retail business and it's financing. Such a complex view can help to similar retailers with orientation in the establishment and funding of a similar type of retail businesses. It will also be evaluated by franchise concept Náš grunt in the light of the real picture of financing its stores.

The third chapter monitors the situation of franchising in the Czech Republic from the past to the present day. The last chapter applies to the franchising concept of SUBWAY.

Franchising as a form of entry to the market

This bachelor thesis deals with franchising as a form of entry to the market. This work is devided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on general theory in franchising (definition, different kinds of franchising, advantages and disadvantages, franchising history etc.). The second chapter is devoted to the application of franchising in particular firm accor hotels, where I introduce the brand ibis hotels and its operation in the world. In the third chapter I describe and introduce successful and emerging hotel company on the Czech market, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of this concept.

The subject of presented bachelor thesis is Franchising as a method of entry to the market. The first part of this thesis deals with characteristics of franchising such as the definition of franchising and its advantages and disadvantages for both parties involved. Then there is also provided the current situation of franchising in the Czech Republic. The second part deals with entry into the market by franchising. In this section franchise agreement is mainly mentioned, how to start a franchise business, what is needed to establish this business and how can franchise systems expand. Franchise financing options close the second part. The third part is devoted to franchising in a particular company, which is HaGaimpex s.r.o. owning a franchise Etam Lingerie. There is presented the history of the brand Etam Lingerie and functioning of the system. Then in this section sales techniques and future customer system are discussed, their evaluation and suggestions for improvement. Finally, SWOT analysis is made.
