Energy Piles
Buzgóová, Ivana ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Boštík, Jiří (advisor)
In the first part of bachelor thesis, a concept of energy pile is explained and also basic information about usage of geothermal energy, montage of pile, its design and the overall operation of the system is shown. Behaviour of axially loaded energy piles is observed in the individual section. In contrast with other foundation structures, energy piles are also under thermal loading. Next, the main factors of pile behaviour are mentioned, the methods of investigation of energy piles (analytical, experimental and numerical) are described and also characteristics, results from the specific studies that were made in different parts of the world under various conditions. In the second part of the thesis, a simple numerical analysis of energy pile is carried out. The simulation of pile is performed in Plaxis 2D. The description of model, calculation phases are discussed along with achieved results and compared with published studies.
Testing of ventilation outlets for a passenger car cabin
Dohnal, Martin ; Zaremba, Matouš (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with experimental testing of car cabin ventilation outlets. In first part the main characteristics of air flowing are made and applied on stream from outlet. Next part deals with function and impact of car cabin ventilation system. Another part is dedicated to overview of commonly used metod of outlet testing. Research of usage of different type of outlets in mid-class cars was made. The main part of this thesis is done in final part where the testing is described by the smoke visualisation with use of laser knife and evaluation of results is performed.
Determination of waterproofing screens efficiency in various types of building materials exposed to capillary wetness
Červenka, Martin ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Increased moisture of masonry occurs mainly in older buildings. In some cases these problems arise even in new buildings. This issue should be properly treated and process of rehabilitation of the building must be executed. Humid walls can be treated by chemical injections, which is nowadays quite extensive and widely used method. Unlike mechanical methods humid walls in the implementation of chemical grouting does not need a major redesign and thus is friendly to the construction of the object. The main objective of this thesis is to establish a methodology for testing the injection materials, which will include a selection of ideal injection gel.
Web Tool for Pairwise Testing of Images
Ševčík, Vít ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create an internet application for experimental evaluation of multimedia data (image and video) by pair testing. The thesis provides description of psychophysical methods for experiments, problems and solutions to displaying multimedia in web browsers, parameters of application tests, and its administration interface. The work is concluded by description of specific psychophysical experiment which was performed using presented application.
Movement optimization of the thermoelectric linear actuator
Belháč, Jakub ; Drápela, Miloslav (referee) ; Maliňák, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis describes movement optimization of a linear thermoelectric actuator that is used for operating floor heating valves in modern buildings. Featuring experimental nature, the thesis deals with a problem specified by an industrial company within the following steps; definition of possible solutions based on problem research, experimental verification of selected propositions, the best solution selection resulting from the analysis of executed measurements, final verification with all product versions, benchmarking.
Experimental testing of hydroinsulating injection screens efficiency in dependance on properties of building materials
Červenka, Martin ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The most of the buildings are almost always faced with moisture in our climate. In the past, the humidity was reduced and conducted only by mechanical methods. Over time, chemical wet masonry method also known as chemical infusion curtain was invented and introduced into practice. This method involves the creation of boreholes at a selected height of humid masonry. These boreholes are impregnated with special solutions. These solutions in humid masonry fill pores in the field of boreholes and thanks to this subsequence the monolithic waterproofing curtain is created. The objective of this work is to determine the methodology for verifying effectiveness of various types of waterproofing injection curtains depending on the properties of the various types of building materials.
Experimentální testování vyvinutého prvku systémového odporu krevního řečiště pro simulační linky kardiovaskulárního systému
Chlup, Hynek ; Pražák, Josef ; Kovičková, S.
The element simulating the body tissue resistance changesrepresents the dominant part in the cardiovascular modeling circuit set-ups. Alternative element of simulation line system cardiovascular circuit was development and sham resistance of the bloodstream. Model of body resistance system approximate to physiological its disposition and parameters. Requisite pressure and resistance was created multiple embranchment flow liquids. General flow cross-section magnify and speed liquids in digressive, thereby with approximate of real.
