The paper deals with analysis of the problems of digital signal processing and with design of the control unit for DSP and audio signal distribution to active external loudspeakers. It describes function of delta-sigma AD converters, the most widely used digital filters and Fast Fourier Transform. The processed signal will be send to external loudspeakers using an Ethernet interface. The paper also covers the design of signal processing unit's hardware and software. Achieved functions and parameters of the unit are discussed in conclusion.
Stereo equalizer with spectrum analyzer
Náhlík, Ondřej ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s work is focused on design of ten band analog stereo equalizer, which is solved by using an active band-pass filters of 2nd order. Simulated output signal isn‘t rippled more than ± 1 dB at zero amplification and can be amplified at maximum ca. ± 8 dB. Prototype of equalizer is then built and it’s characteristics are measured. The circuit of an integrated power amplifier working in the class AB is solved in the next part of this work. Amplifier is then built and it’s characteristics are measured. In the last part of this work, there is described function of a spectral analyzer which is then designed, built and programmed. The analyzer uses the Fast Fourier transform (FFT) and resulting spectrum is displayed on a display.

Switch stereo low frequency signals
Lukesle, Václav ; Jankovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
The work proposes steps for fabricating low-frequency preamplifier including switchable inputs and the output equalizer. In the beginning of the thesis theoretical principles of amplifying the low-frequency signals are introduced. For setting the resonance frequency of equalizer the gyrator filter has been used. By setting the aforementioned frequency and tuning the potentiometer we are able to change the quality factor as well as the gain of the entire circuit. Benefit of this work is a large flexibility for tuning the output signal including a possibility of selection of four various inputs. Simulation and measurement results, PCB and a summary of discrete components are finally attached.
Equalization Methods in Digital Communication Systems
Vacuum tube phono amplifier
Hrubý, Ondřej ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Musil, Tomáš (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with a design and simulation of an audio power phono amplifier using vakuum tubes. The frequency response of suggested solution should comply with the norm specified by RIAA. It also describes a vacuum tube basic description and also its advantages for audio applications and principle of usage a magnetodynamic pick-up. Last part contains a design of microprocessor system and power supply.
Design of bass guitar preamplifier
Müller, Radek ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with analog bass guitar preamplifiers and related functional blocks such as equalizers and bass effects. The first part contains a theoretical analysis of individual functional blocks preamplifiers and principles as well as an outline of the design and construction principles. In the following section is presented a design of connection that involves a bass guitar preamplifier, including an equalizer, an integrated distortion effect and an amplifier for headphone output. The proposed connections are simulated in the PSpice program and the printed circuit boards design is carried out using the Eagle program. Based on previous results, the construction of a bass guitar preamplifier is realized. The parameters of the individual blocks are measured and compared with the simulations.
