Marriage, its problems and economic consequences in practice, in relation to the recodification of Private Law
Nevolová, Lucie ; Cvik, Eva Daniela (advisor) ; Lenka, Lenka (referee)
This thesis contains theoretical knowledge of law of marriage in the Czech Republic, which from 1. 1. 2014 due the recodification of private law is governed by the Act no. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended. Selected chapters deal with basic concepts that relate to this topic, the conditions of formation of marriage, duties and rights of spouses, dissolution of marriage, economical and legal consequences that result from marriage and selected the changes that occurred after the adoption of the Civil Code. The main aim of the practical part is the comparison of marriage and cohabition without marriage from an economic and legal point of view in connection with the recodification of private law. In conclusion, the work presents an analysis of survey results and overall assessment of the results obtained.
Effect of nucleotide density vector's reduction on molecular identification of organisms
Kosková, Markéta ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Maděránková, Denisa (advisor)
This work deals with the effect of nucleotide density vector's reduction on molecular identification of organisms. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the work explains the concept of species, its development and its mutations. The next section provides basics of taxonomy, particularly the molecular taxonomy and DNA barcoding, with a description of mitochondrial DNA and its usability in the identification of species. The end of the theoretical part provides information about the nucleotide density vectors which the practical part is focused on. Analysis of auxiliary values on nucleotide density vectors was accomplished in Matlab by evaluating 188 real DNA barcode sequences. The identification analysis of organism was performed with the best auxiliary value for 4 datasets of the reference barcode sequences and 5 datasets of analyzed sequences of same organisms. Afterwards, the evaluation of the analysis was done by using separate nucleotide density vectors of individual nucleotides and their amounts.
Similarity/dissimilarity analysis of genomic data on the basis of graphical representation
Těthal, Jiří ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Maděránková, Denisa (advisor)
The work deals with the identification of species of animal through the density of nucleotids of mitochondrial gene CO1. In the first part the theory summarized information about DNA barcoding and the mitochondria, cellular organel that with this method is closely related. The second part deals with virtually comparing different sequences using the density of nucleotides. For this it was created program, which uses two functions, the first of the specified nucleotide sequence calculates the density and one can compare the density by distance methods.
Comparison of mitochondrial DNA for species identification
Labounek, René ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Maděránková, Denisa (advisor)
The work deals with the method of recognizing species on the analysis of mitochondrial DNA segment. This analysis and classification using segment gene called CO1 in literatures such as barcode of life. In the beginning of work is analyzed the mitochondrial theory of heredity and conditions of formation of barcode. Practical use is based on this theory in creating database of barcodes generated to different animal species. Data used for creating the library are drawn from public databases NCBI and BOLD Systems. The next part of this work concerns about methods of comparison of the individual barcodes to the others and especially to the barcode of human. Three main computing methods were used tore these analyses: Needleman-Wunsch algorithm, Smith- Waterman algorithm and comparison of similarities using distance matrix. This work also concerns about transformation of DNA molecule sequences from symbols to numeric formats, which is required for the distance matrix comparison method. Algorithms for searching for a barcode of a species and vice versa were created to ease the work with data.
Certain aspects of the legislative regulations applicable to foundations in the Czech Republic, France, Germany and Austria: Study 5.295

Are Czech zoos really the facilities for animal conservation?
ŠVEHLOVÁ, Žaneta
I focused this bacholor work on finding are Czech ZOOs really the facilities for animal conservation. For this work I used the access to diabase IUCN and Yearbook of the Czech and Slovak ZOOs 2012. The reset showed that the largem number of breeding species falls into the category of Least Concern. At least then into categories Extinct in the wild. The results implies that the proportion of endangered animals in ZOOs Czech Republic is smaller than in the IUCN Red List.
Assessment of breeding success of crocodiles in European zoos
KELÍŠKOVÁ, Radka
I focused this work on finding of species diversity, the number of breeding species, subspecies and the number of breeds of crocodiles in european and Czech ZOOs. For this work I used the access to ZOO database ISIS and information from Ing. Miroslav Procházka from Protivín Crocodile ZOO. The results show which species are bred the most frequently and in what number of pieces. The result showed that number of bred species and subspecies of crocodiles is quite large both in Europe and in the Czech Republic. But number of ZOOs that are devoted to crocodile reproduction is relatively low. The relation between number of bred youngs and bred couples is also very small. The most commonly bred species in european ZOOs are Nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus), Dwarf crocodile (Osteolaemus tetraspis) and Cuvier?s dwarf caiman (Paleosuchus palpebrosus). The most frequently species reproduced in ZOO are Osteolaemus tetraspis, Paleosuchus palpebrosus and Cuban crocodile (Crocodylus rhombifer). Across all Europe the Czech Republic shows good results both in number of bred species and in number of successful reproductions. The most commonly bred species in Czech ZOOs are Osteolaemus tetraspis, Paleosuchus palpebrosus and Crocodylus rhombifer. The most frequently species reproduced in Czech ZOOs are Paleosuchus palpebrosus, Crocodylus rhombifer and Osteolaemus tetraspis.
The human rights and the animal rights
JIROUŠKOVÁ, Tereza
The thesis, which deals with the issue of human rights and animal rights, is divided into three basic chapters. The first chapter offers a summary of the historical development of human rights and seeks to highlight the coherence of this development with the current understanding of human rights. The second chapter focuses on the development of our relationship with animals. This chapter describes the historical, philosophical and religious aspects of the relationship. The final chapter focuses on the current arguments for animal rights. Part of this chapter is devoted to the animal rights opponent Tibor Machan, according to whom the animals do not need any rights.
The theory of common nature of Thomas Aqvinas in the treatise De ente et essentia
BUZKOVÁ, Markéta
The work deals with theory of common nature and universals of Aquinas in the treatise De ente et essentia. In first part is defined conceptual foundation based on Aristotelian and Avicennian concepts of essence and existence. Avicenna defines two ways how can be essence considered. First it is absolute consideration of the essence and second the essence considered as it has being. Thomas Aquinas develops his notion of essence in a quite noticeable Avicennian framework. In the second part are presented the theory of common nature by St. Thomas. The theory is based on the essence considered as it has being, we can found it in rational soul.
