Impact of subsidy policy on profit of chosen farm

The main aim of this work is the ratings of the impact of subsidy drawing to support a particular agricultural business. The theoretical part includes a brief summary of Czech Agriculture in basic numbers and describes the weak and strong sides of the sector. The main part of this theoretical examination is the definition and explanation of the basic ideas in the area of subsidy drawing and summary of the subsidy instruments which are used to support the Czech agriculture sector both from the European Union as well as from national resources. The task of the analytical part is to make a financial and operational analysis of the selected agricultural business, the quantification of the effect of subsidy drawing on its operations and evaluation of the contribution of the received financial resources to the development of the agricultural activity. For this effect, the method of financial analysis was used, which represents a major part of financial management of a company.

The bachelor thesis focuses on available variants of financing agricultural machinery using outside capital in the branch of agriculture. The theoretical part defines basic concepts arising out of the topic, such as investment credit, leasing, subsidy. The second part concentrates on finding a suitable form of financing the company of AGRA Řisuty s.r.o.. The result is grounded on basic evaluation of financial and economic situation in the company and incorporates available market options, including the subsidy instruments.
The effect of agri-environmental schemes on biodiversity

The aim of thesis is summary of current results of scientific publications evaluating effectiveness of agri-environmental measures in the relation to biodiversity. This work deals with this issue in Europe, characterizes the situation in selected European countries and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation schemes and individual measures on selected groups of organisms. It also deals with the factors influencing the effectiveness and methodical approaches of evaluation studies. Results of studies suggest a low to medium efficiency of allover measures for plants and invertebrates and low efficiency for birds. Conversely targeted measures had a high efficiency, but their overall significance was very low due to small proportion of land compared to the horizontal measures.The worst situation was in the Netherlands, in other countries the results were relatively similar.
ABILITY TO OBTAIN GRANT TITLES IN SELECTED RURAL MUNICIPALITIES

Ability to obtain grant titles in selected rural municipalities Abstract An important theme of the Member States of the European Union is rural development. For the Czech Republic, this topic became current after accession to the EU in 2004. In previous years, the Czech Republic had the opportunity to benefit from pre-accession programs (e.g. PHARE, SAPARD) in the period 2004-2006 to use all the tools for the development of European countryside. The uniqueness of the programming period 2007-2013 is the ability to draw funds in the entire length of the programming period, and a wide range of support. The bachelor thesis deals with the cause of the success of profit grant titles of the Rural Development Programme, Operational Programme for Environment and Regional Operation Programme NUTS II Southwest. Its aim is to analyze the influence of the causes for profit grant titles of selected programs and determine whether appearance, geographic location, and civic and technical facilities of the municipalities affects the volume of money obtained from grant titles. Attention is focused on the municipalities district Klatovy in size of 500-999 people. Practical analyzes and evaluates offers banking institutions to finance a particular project. The result is a recommendation for the selection of individual bids.

The presented diploma thesis concerns with a study of historic and contemporary human influence on the region of Valašská Polanka. The changes in landscape are evaluated by comparing historic maps and sources with its actual condition. Segments of land in the landscape park (Javorníky) as well as outside of it (Vizovické Hills) were selected for further examination and were charted from the perspective of their biotopes. The charted areas include parts of agrarian domains, in this case extensively utilized pastures. The segments mapped on these sites were divided into various categories according to the landscape features (wetland, forest borderland, dispersed greenery). A collection of precaution steps for these features was created, based on the newly gained information. The paper also includes possibilities of application of subsidy programs in agriculture.

The bachelor thesis: "Subsidies for agriculture in the European Union and in the Czech Republic", is focused, in its parts, on historical development of the Common agricultural policy, on the ways how the concrete subsidies aimed on agrarian sector were formed to reach food self- sufficiency for Europe after world wars. For better understanding there is also defined agricultural branch and market where are the subjects of primary production which have a legal claim on supports in form of subsidies. These subsides are implemented on area of a member state - Czech Republic and are interpreted in period before the connecting the Czech Republic to the European Union, after the connecting to E. U. and specifically in every planning periods. As a supplementary can be marked information about administrative organs which arrange subsidies titles and payout the financial support keeping the rules of cross compliance standards.
Parametrization of the enterprise capabilities of its multifunction, stabilisation and growth by means of the non-capital measures.

The work is focused on the issue of parameterization of the enterprise capabilities of its multifunction, stabilisation and growth by means of the non-capital measures. The basic terms and categories of this issue are characterized in the search section such as the agrarian sector and its position in the national economy of the Czech Republic, the common agricultural policy, rural development programme, the marginality, the LFA, the sustainability of agriculture, business multifunctional potential and its diversification, the financial health of the company, creditworthy and bankruptcy models. Doctoral dissertation tasks were solved on the file of legal entities in the South Bohemia region (229 farms - i.e. 1,504 statistical units) in the years 2005-2010, after the correction then on 214 agricultural holdings with the initial year 2010 and a scientific experiment was performed on 5 model enterprises with the initial year 2012. The main outputs of the dissertation are as follows: definition of zoning formulas, new theoretical defining business multifunctional potential including the methodology for determining business potential and its parameterization. Investigation was carried out on the test set of agricultural enterprises through models of non-investment measures, including subsidies; consideration was given to progressive increases and size degression. Variants of optimization (profit maximization and advantages of livestock production) were tested at scientific experiment on five chosen enterprises. The result of multifunctional potential parameterization process is also expressed in differentiation of the test set on creditworthy businesses and non-performing businesses and businesses falling into, so-called, a gray area. Solving the dissertation was connected to the state task of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Information (IAEI, Prague) in preparation for the new programming period, the Rural Development Programme for the years 2014-2020 and the government document Strategy of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Czech Republic.
