DNS Service with Location Information Extension

Accordingly to spreading of Internet users it is necessary to start solving the problem of optimized client access to key services. DNS service as widely used standard of hierarchy distributed database of all connected devices offers a great options in this branch of IT. My thesis deals with existing extensions of DNS system about location of server or service. Simultaneously informs reader with issues about load balancing and improving network performance.

Analysis of web server hosting

Master thesis deals with the problematics of webpages hosting in the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to design a procedure and to implement an application for automated determination of whether a particular website is operated on a third party server or an own server of the organization or the individual. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part of the thesis lays a theoretical base concerning principals, protocols and services which are necessary for providing availability of the webpages with special attention to the specifics of the Czech internet environment. In the practical part there are several approaches to the analysis of the obtained data proposed. On that basis there is designed and in the form of the detection application implemented an algorithm which goal is to determine whether the submitted webpages are placed on a shared server and to collect the information about their hosting. In the last part of the thesis the application runs based on the created database of webservers organized by the categories of the webserver operators. In this analytic part the obtained output information about these webservers hosting are processed and presented together with the relevant context concerning the hosting of these webpages in the Czech Republic.

Implementation of basic security standards of the parent company

This thesis deals with the implementation of the basic security standards of the parent company. The first part of this thesis is the theoretical starting point, in which are described and explained all the necessary concepts. The second part of this thesis is an analysis of the current state, in which is discussed the current state of security within the domain of the subsidiary company and also the requirements of the parent company. The third part of this thesis is the actual design of the solution, in which is detailed my proposal for the implementation of all requirements. Implementation management, economic evaluation and benefits are parts of the solution design as well.

Personality and Work of Božena Němcová in Metodological Practice at Secondary School

In the theoretical part the diploma thesis focuses on the characteristics of life and work of Božena Němcová, as well as its classification with topical overview of methodological materials (such as reading-books, textbooks and exercise-books) used at the second level of elementary schools. The subject of interest in this theoretical part points out the work-systems and their comparison at selected primary schools. The crucial point of the practical part thesis deals with the description and the analysis of questionnaires, which are assembled especially for this research (opinion on Božena Němcová, comparison of the curriculum, appropriate literature for children), and further with the interviews of the teachers. The conclusion of the thesis attempts to outline the summary, as well as the analysis of gained results, on which basis it recommends a possible innovation in the methodological practice for a chosen topic.

Dynamics of yeast plasma membrane domains

Plasmatic cellular mebrane consists of specialized domains which differ in shape, function and size. This compartmentalization allows cells to coordinate and separate a large number of diverse processes. Disorders of cell organization at the level of membrane domains are increasingly associated with the expansion of pathological disorders. Microdomains also play a role in the virulence of pathogenic organisms, e.g. some types of yeast. One of the best described microdomains of the yeast plasma membrane is the MCC (membrane compartment of arginine permease Can1), which is stabilized by a protein complex called the eisosome. The composition of the MCC/eisosome is described in detail, the dynamics of the individual components in the basal state (i.e. without stress) has not yet been described. The aim of this thesis is to summarize current knowledge about the dynamics of the proteins of this microdomain and its relationship with other domains of cell membranes through a detailed review of the available literature. And at the same time by using the advanced fluorescence method FRAP (fluorescence recovery after photobleaching) to show in my own experiment that in the basal state there is an exchange of individual Nce102 molecules in the MCC/eisosome microdomain. The domain names and its protection with aspect to the trade mark

One of the legal issues, which brought by the development of information and communication technologies, is also the issue of domain names. With the development of the Internet, many human activities moved into the electronic world, including business activities. Presentation of the business through a website has become an indispensable means of competition. Domain names became a significant asset with regard to its secondary function. Therefore it was necessary to provide legal protection for domain names.Legal system of the Czech Republic does not contain specific legal act of domain names. This thesis deals with the issue of domain names. The object of this thesis is the definition of a domain name from a legal terms, the rights to domain names and registration of domain names. This thesis is limited to domain names, which are registrated in ccTLD .cz. The second part discusses the relationship between domain names and trademarks. In relation to the trademark rights the domain name has dual status. Registration of a sign as a domain name can occur the rights of trademarks. The trademark is one of the most effective means of protection for domain names.
