Internal combustion engine for Mars and Moon vehicles
Rachůnek, Radek ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The thesis deals with the development of a mathematical model of the internal combustion engine for vehicles used in space missions. It includes a summary of the historical development and the possible future of the vehicles. It describes the external influences acting on the engine, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of using an internal combustion engine. A separate chapter focuses on fuel selection with respect to the availability of local resources. The next part of the thesis is devoted to the development of a mathematical model according to a sample real engine. Here, the step-by-step process of modifications to create the engine model is described, considering the information from the previous chapters. The thesis includes an evaluation of the internal combustion engine to see if it represents a suitable alternative to current powertrains.
Diagnostika palivových soustav vznětových motorů
CHADA, Stanislav
This thesis focuses on the direct injection of diesel engines, where I aimed to perform diagnostics and evaluate its success and economic balance. The thesis describes the types of fuel systems and explains their principle. In the practical part, a diagnosis of the saddle tractor from the common work and parts of the TATRA engine injection system (injection pump and injector) is performed.
Gasoline Direct Injection
Donutil, Jan ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with direct injection applicated in spark ignition engine. It explains how the system works and what are the benefits in comparison with older methods. Components description and a list of current engines are mentioned in the next chapter. The last section is focussed on the future of these motors.
Diagnostika palivové soustavy s přímým vstřikováním
FAU, Petr
This bachelor thesis deals with the diagnostic issues of the fuel system with the direct injection at a petrol engine and also with the subsequent prognosis of the condition and disorders. In this work are described the main parts of this system: the engine control system, the fuel supply and the operation principle. The thesis then deals with the used diagnostic systems: the exhaust gas analysis and the On-board diagnostics. In conclusion the serial and the parallel diagnostics and the emission measurement with the diagnostics system Bosch FSA 740 are performed, assessing the results and then determining the future development of the diagnosed vehicle.
Fuel Systems with Pressure Accumulator
Buchta, Martin ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the Common Rail injection system for diesel engines. There is described each component, function principle and history of the system. It deals with currently used systems, theirs application in passenger cars engines and theirs effect on emissions in exhaust gases. It is concluded that the Common Rail injection system is currently the best, which we can use in passenger's cars diesel engines.
Fuel Systems of SI-engines
Faiman, Jiří ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a list of fuel systems used in modern gasoline engines and describe the basic components of these systems. It will then be described the function of each of these components and modes of operation of the fuel system at different modes of engine operation. Finally, will be characterized by the selected engines with these systems.
Design of Test Bench for Gasoline Engine Injectors
Přibyl, Zdeněk ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is perform basic research in the field of contemporary electronic injection system with respect to the structure and demands on the actual injection valves, and perform the design of test bench for indirect fuel injection injectors testing.
Engines of Octavia vehicles
Malchárek, Miroslav ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with popular car Škoda Octavia and combustion engines used in it. Thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with a development of Škoda Octavia car. The second chapter approaches diesel engines used. The third chapter treats of commonly used combustion engines.
Passenger Vehicles Drive Unit Recent Development
Korenko, Miroslav ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to cover current trends in development of propulsive units of personal automobiles. The introduction describes combustion engines and divides them into categories. The next chapters describe current development of gasoline and diesel combustion engines. The conclusion is aimed for the perspective view into the future and the problem of alternative propulsions.
Hydrogen fuel for internal combustion engines
Polnický, Václav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Knowledge of all ower the world research, dealing with hydrogen combustion engines, were sumarized in this bachelor thesis. Ways of hydrogen production and its storing are mentioned too. This paper is focused especially to hydrogen-air mixture formation and its ignition solving. Some samples of hydrogen cars –booth of prototypes and serial products- were introduced too.
